Yeah reputation is an important thing you should look at when you want to try gambling in a site. reputation is built on the trust of players, of course it is reach because the site has a provably fair that is proven accordance with what they have say. usually gambling sites that have a long age, which have a good reputation.

You are right and to be honest, there are so many new sites that are scam sites. Still wondering how they get huge traffic on the site or what makes the players believe in them, maybe because of the improved technology on their sites but I don’t think this is enough to make anyone lose their hard earned money.

Just last week, my kid brother was also scammed of over 5btc from one of the new sites. Do I blame the site? Of course not, because I always told him never to  play on sites that are strange to the forum, this is actually the best way to avoid been duped. The OP has talked about provable fair site and old sites are the best definition of these, so simply put, only gamble with old and familiar sites.

Talking about scam gambling sites, it's left for gamblers to do proper research before betting on any site to avoid regrets.  Do not say your friend earned from the site and put in huge amount of funds to bet, you should do thorough due diligence.

As long as we can select recommended gambling games, we could prevent from the scam site. Research is a must that the gamblers need to do before he plays gambling so he can avoid from losing the money, although by playing any games will make him lose the money. If we are a new person in gambling, we will not think about the suspicious thing because we are only attracted because of the offers. But that will not happen if we can be aware and be careful to select the gambling website and we are often read the review on here or other websites. This forum could be a good guide to new people to find recommended gambling website so they can avoid from the scamming website. We need to change our mind that the offers can lie to us and we don't have to risk our money to follows them.

Oh, if you are talking about paid reviews, I definitely won't trust that kind, not totally though. If I manage to verify that it is doable then that review could be reliable. Well, you can't blame the people who are working and giving those kinds of reviews for a few BTC because it might be their only choice. I don't know their story or what they are going through but it's best to not judge and just ignore unless they are abusing it or something.

I only depend on the reviews we do in this forum through the comments we made here on any projects be it gambling or coins and by many complain or accusation I do avoid those casino or gambling sites. Googling do give us both the bad and the good one and greed will always lead us to select the scam one.

I can see clearly from your comment that you have never been scammed. You are only using your friends experience to interpret every other incidence that relates to scam and this is very wrong. A number of us that have been scammed where never greedy or lazy, sometimes we just fall into this trap and then get to accept our fate while we keep on learning on how to identify illegitimate gambling site.

My first scam site sis still very fresh in my memory, this site had existed for like a year prior to when I bet on it and I played with over $2000 dollars, I wasn’t greedy, the money wasn’t so much but it meant a lot as well, the game went on smoothly and then I won, just as at the point I was to withdraw my cash the site crashed, so how have I been greedy in this case? I think bitcointalk is a very good resource for identifying scammers.  Here no one will advertise a fraudulent resource and will identify intruders.  All gambling games that are on the forum have certain ratings and certain reviews from cryptocurrency users.  In addition, I would like to mention the fact that today only gambling where KYC verification is not required is of great interest.

As long as we can select recommended gambling games, we could prevent from the scam site. Research is a must that the gamblers need to do before he plays gambling so he can avoid from losing the money, although by playing any games will make him lose the money. If someone can win from the gambling site and success to withdraw the money, but we cannot do like what he did, it doesn't mean that the gambling site is a scam because that will depends on our account, maybe we break their law, so they don't allow us to withdraw the money.

Talking about research, I admit that this is the greatest aspect gamblers are failing most in gambling. Gamblers just take whatever that is dished to them without digging deep to know more and this has cost so many gamblers a lot .

On the issue of having problems at withdrawal, there are a lot of scam sites that give problems when it’s time to withdrawal not because of any bridge of contract or disobedience to any of their rules but because it’s just their method of deceiving players, you can do your research.

I do not want to drop names here but there are so many of them and this is the reason I keep on emphasizing on research. I think this is the best response I have seen here, I say this a lot of times that the easiest way to find a provable fair casino site is on this forum. All gamblers always come back to share their experiences on each site, and if a gamer tells us a site is okay, then we should believe that it is and if it is not, there will be counter responses.

It is also not a bad idea to use tools to confirm that the casino site is reliable, so many players do this and have attested to its effectiveness, and players can also check the github pages of the site but the best which I have mentioned earlier is using the judgment of forum members players that have used the site.

So what then is advantage of putting in ones best in a game if at the end it runs on luck? If gambling is a game of luck then there is no need for playing because at the end of the day, we end up losing but if we accept it as a form of entertainment, then we might not have to go through the stress of thinking about the skills or tactics to use in playing and definitely will not feel hurt if we lose. That quite simple.

I sometimes get tired of gambling because I have seen how much efforts fail. Are you talking about the gambling games or the betting games ? If you need to bet on any event you need to follow the two simple rules.

1- Bet on the reputable site
2- Understand and get full information about the game before betting on one team
