Some crypto betting games are provably fair, while others aren't. When deciding the crypto games to play you should consider it's fairness. (Especially a game that requires luck.) Not all that claim to be provably fair are actually as they say, some are just managed by scammers.

A provably fair crypto betting game would have it's code on Github i.e. open-sourced. That way a developer can easily confirm the authenticity of the claims. Another way would be to use a provably fair tool to check. These tools can be found online.

A friend lost a chunk of his crypto investments to a scammer that claimed his game was provably fair. The owner of the website waited till the website was popular, to accrue more victims. Then he simply closed the website and vanished with thousands of dollars belong to people.

Don't play because others are winning!

That's another tactic the scammer used. He usually gave winnings to a circle of accounts that were managed by him. When you try to compare the losses of the accounts to wins, the wins would be more. He did this to entice his victims.

Be safe!

I think that all crypto betting games are designed to make a profit for the site owner, and therefore the odds are always against you. I would avoid them, and try some other form of gambling where you have a better chance of winning if you use your skill and knowledge.

Yeah, betting generally is addictive. I wouldn't advice anyone to go into betting as well, but at least one should know everything about a platform before risking funds.

Although the main purpose for developing such games is profit for the owner, its users should expect fairness. I would rather give money to a charity than play a game that the name contains "lucky" or "magic" - those are two watch words for me.

I agree with you; earning with one's skill and knowledge is far better. That's why I used play around dApps on the steem blockchain in the past.

Thier main purpose might be for profit but there are secondary purpose that their costumers can experience and that is for entertainment and also to be able to profit . giving money to a charity is good than giving money to a gambling for free without expecting any returns but the reason why you play gambling is that you are expecting for some profits .

Always gambling websites will be profiting the owners but we can beat the house, but the same won't last for a long time. Skill and knowledge based gambling too requires luck without which it won't get user a win. For this the right choice is sports betting.

^ There should be a provability fair on the gambling platform that we are first looking for. Almost gambling platforms will in favor of them the house edge. That's why we should know better the site first before putting money to bet. Sports betting and poker are likely good and even dice game if you know how to research their provably fair.

The first thing to remember before we decide to play on a gambling site is how trustworthy the site owner is. This can be found here in this forum because most gambling site admins have account in this place. And the next step is to examine how crowded the site is. Mostly, when more and more people are visiting and using the services of a site, usually, such site will be more reliable. So when we found a new site, don't directly use their services. Be sure to do the analysis first.

We should read if the website we want to play has an official thread in the Gambling section and see the feedback there. This is enough to know if the website is trusted or not.The second thing we should check is what kind of bonuses the site offers and what kind of games it offers for the players.

There are plenty of gambling site out there that are surely fair but if they would think of scamming many in the community then that will be their sure lost because I think they are obtaining their reputation so much to be  a well-known site then in just one wrong move it will all be gone, I don't think they will surely do something like that,

Well, I guess if we can say about a fair and dependable gambling site, there are plenty that the community had well known for years that I think will not gonna ruin their reputation, but I think the newer site would be doubtable at first but we should just be cautious in keeping and getting in our money if the site doesn't establish enough reputation.

That's why it is better to investigate first on the gambling sites first especially the new ones before diving in, yeah there should be a code open source on Github but that alone isn't making them probably fair and there are still possibilities that they might turn to be the filthy one. I'd probably gamble to the most trusted one and have lots of reviews by the community and that's way safer.

It is too complicated, too technical and likely exceeds ability of normal, inexperienced people. I think the easiest ways to join only old, famous gambling sites. If someone want to move further, and get fresh experience from new sites, they should choose sites that promoted by famous managers. If a new sites with few months old, that have signature campaigns managed by well known managers, and run well for a few months, I think they are good, young sites. It is more simple to do.
