The pump has already occurred. Against BTC, the exchange rates increased by 120% during January-April 2019. However, the coin lost most of its gain during the last 2-3 months, as the Bitcoin dominance increased. The prices have stabilized as of now, but if there is a lack of demand, then you can expect the exchange rates to go back to the previous levels.

We will not see that but more miners will be going out from litecoin blockchain to another coin because it's not worth anymore to mine litecoin.
Miners will try to calculate their profit again, charlie already made a statement about that and there will be a possibility to the litecoin blockchain to be slow for a while caused by the migration of the miners.
The price will remain stable but that will increase shortly after the blockchain has done with the halving.

LTC already pumped early before the dip afterwards still based on the halving news. Well, this halving coming soon might cause FOMO but I doubt since BTC dominance is still invoke. I think there might be a slight pump anyway, but overall LTC is a good hold for long term considering the great project development so far.

Although litecoin has grown nicely in value from last few months but i would have loved to see more fomo and hype surrounding it right now and i would want to see superior upside volatility at this time before the actual halving as this would have put good positive effect on overall market as well and it would have set stage for btc halving which is coming in mid next year but im positive that ltc will keep growing post halving and it is an outstanding event for reducing supply and increasing both demand and value.

I see (far) too big expectations on Litecoin having. Most probably the price will not double overnight and most probably this will lead to quite a number of disappointments.

What will miners do when suddenly they will get half less coins? Will they keep mining or stop?

What I expect for this upcoming halving for Litecoin isn't going to be the same with bitcoin that it will shoot up its price so fast. It's on sale right now and we've seen it pumped like crazy over the months ago and I think those were the best time to get in. I'm positive with this halving and the effect might come after few more months. It wouldn't be an instant pump but it will definitely come at the right time.

hopefully there is a big pump for litecoin. I've bought quite a lot yesterday. I hope after halving later, the price of litecoin can be more than 100$. this will be a big enough profit for me. The thing is, it's not rumour, it's news.

What generally happens in this sort of situation is that the change has already been priced in. Often coins dump a bit once the event actually takes place. This is because everyone thinks halving=price increase, so they start buying as soon as the first credible rumours emerge. Once it becomes official, everyone has already bought in, and are now waiting to dump to make profit.

Of course it may not happen that way this time, but that's often how it works.

Definitely, Litecoin price will pump up after the halving but it's hard to know pump up to how much.
There is a correction after price pumps up so better make sure get out at right time.

Usually altcoin price goes up based on hype and news before the event.
We are very close to his event, and no significant movement in price.

I think investors and Litecoin businesses will also buy back and push LTC prices higher. Because if they let this situation go on forever, I think they will lose a lot of miners and the process of processing the blocks will also slow down.
