Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no?

Bounty hunting is profitable if one has a high ranking Bitcointalk account and can join in bounties that pay in bitcoin. I've seen projects that pay hunters above 100$ weekly for signature campaign. For those who are able to carry out more campaigns, they would receive much more reward.

The profitability of bounty hunting hinges on individual peculiarities, while some people see bounty hunting to be lucrative, others see it to be worthless. Most newbies in the forum would find it difficult to get high paying campaigns like the senior members. I believe in general, bounty hunting is less profitable as it was few years ago.

bounties will be profitable if bounty hosts are compelled to reward in stablecoins or some standard coins like ETH or BTC, else this industry is just a wash.
Price increases profit the hunter but price crashes haunt them.

Hard to say as most the bounties did not even pay the participants and I'm reffering to late 2018 bounties and early 2019 but this is our risk as participants. I've thinked to give another shot to signature bounties and see how this one will do , so far so good.

In fact, 2019 has been a good year for crypto markets compared to that of 2018 but when it comes to bounty, it is the otherwise. I think the profitability of bounty keeps decreasing with increasing years and there are some obvious facts that everyone knows but one think I have seen is that bounty managers even go to the extremes of advising devs to reduce bounty pools to prevent tokens being dumped on the market. TO say it in other terms, the devs now to put a higher pool to make bounty campaigns profitable as before.

The bounty hunters are doing their job well, they bring the project to the community and there are positive reviews about the project, the bonus programs are needed for new projects. However, this year I did not find projects that treat well the bounty hunters. Bonus programs with meager amounts and too many participants. Besides, the extended time and delay in the distribution of bonuses to bounty hunters is always in the SOON state.

Exactly Too many bounty campaigns have given false hope these days. Distribution was delayed for another 6 months, tokens were locked for months, listings were not carried out, etc. Nevertheless, there are still profitable projects, based on weekly payments, based on payments with strong coins such as BTC and ETH, tokens that already exist on the exchange, are still very profitable. Choose wisely and selectively, accept failure and scam as a risk, it will make us better.

It's hard to look a good Bounty is this year. Every time the bounty ends there is always trouble like pending distribution, change the allocation in the end of bounty and no further development of the project. That's why the good bounty is hard to find now.

In this year the Bounty I think the campaign is profitable because some projects can make money. But the results received very little due to more false projects. Now many people focus more on trading. And in this year IEO became the main choice when compared to the ICO.

I hope that with this IEO can be a good solution to make a profit. Different systems with ICOS and IEO are superior because direct coins can be traded.

Yes, it all depends and we cannot sentence the bounty campaign profitable or not. So as long as you choose the right project, then it will benefit you every year. But, when you don't do good research and don't choose the right project, the bounty campaign will always be unprofitable for you and will completely waste your time.

Yes, it all depends and we cannot sentence the bounty campaign profitable or not. So as long as you choose the right project, then it will benefit you every year. But, when you don't do good research and don't choose the right project, the bounty campaign will always be unprofitable for you and will completely waste your time.

Sometimes choosing the right project doesn't guarantee the profit will worth the time bounty hunter spent with the bounty tasks. Unprofitable projects are the main part of the whole bounty campaigns. The small rewards don't look like the name of the cheese in the trap for the mouse.
Depending on the bounty camping, controlling the situation and counting the bounty stakes must be done by the experienced bounty manager. Otherwise, the unliked situations will happen which we can't prevent in this case.  If there is no experience by the bounty manager, I avoid trying my luck on the bounty campaign for the mentioned generalizations.

The better solution i can think of right now is devs should start paying bounty hunters in stable coins or bitcoin if we are in bad market condition, if market is in good condition like altcoin season then they can pay bounty hunters in tokens or coins of the project, i don't know how it sound but i think thats the best solution

Exactly, bounty pays but very few now pays and you now have to research hard to find a good one. I joined minter because its a novel blockchain project. Bug bounty hunting is something I have seen to be profitable because there are less experts in the crypto field which means big payouts unlike ordinary bounty hunting which attracts thousands of participants from all over the world which means rewards are now as good as nothing! So sadly bounty hunting in a nutshell isn't profitable in 2019:(

No I haven't found one yet but still i think so people found good ones there so I will not be surprised maybe one or two but the truth is not like 2018 and not close to 2017 period since is going down the pecking order slowly

I can count at least 8 bounties that have paid me in 2019 (although some of them are from bounties in 2018 like Akropolis and Carry Protocol). So my verdict will be YES. Bounties campaign have been very profitable in 2019. The difference between this and 2018 is that the rewards seem to be lesser compared to 2018. This may be due to the influx of new hunters though

Bounty campaigns are not as profitable as the years ago, but still bounty campaigns are going to be profitable in 2019 depending on the type of bounties one participates in. Doing a thorough research before participating in bounties is the only way bounties are going to be profitable in 2019.

I think it will always bring profit since companies spend millions and billions each year on marketing and advertising. Affiliate marketing even big companies like Google and Microsoft do. Every company uses promoters they are just called bounty hunters here. Proper bounty hunting can be consider SEO work as well. This will be for your higher quality hunters and projects. They need to stop letting just anyone in a bounty and screen them a little. Not a lot just a bit to keep people with bad intentions such as doing crappy work or having no real interest in the project.

Don't just randomly choose a bounty read their Ann and do your homework.
