It depends on the project because nowadays the EIO and ICO are just turning to scam mostly and also they are running some bounties of it, well some of the bounties are profitable if the project is alive and kicking in terms on prices and development

Bounties ain't that profitable as it used to be but still profitable depending on the type of bounty projects you decide to promote. There are a lot of bounty projects out there but only few are legit and without proper research to determine which one i legit or not, you will keep promoting scam projects and gain nothing from it but doing a real research on a project which is legi and promoting it is quite profitable.

Well it depends on the kind of project you are participating in. I would say bounty campaign isn't that profitable or lucrative as it used to be sometime ago due to fraudulent activities but I think you can still earn something from a great campaign.

I do not agree with you on this matter. There are many bounty campaigns that are more profitable. All.me is one of them. All.me was launched some five months ago, and is doing very good in the market. Its price has increased by more than 1000 percent and it is holding onto that price for the past three months.

Obviously the whole altcoin sector has suffered a sudden brake, also because of the scams that have been there.

It did, bounty hunting in the past cannot be compared to the present, because in the past, we have a lot of ICO projects that are able to successfully raise funds (whether scams or legit), and that makes bounty hunting so rewarding and we can sell at a good price due to the demand.
Scams were only notice when BTC took a hit, while drop slowly going to sub 3K, and because of that, the whole market was affected and that makes investors fear to invest, with that, bounty hunting is not anymore profitable if we expect a good reward like in the past.

And then the merit system has made it inconvenient to waste time writing messages that nobody reads. But a little cleaning was done. We'll see.

This is a different thing, it does not affect the bounty hunting profitability, the system is their for good reason and we can't change that as it's an effective measures against account farmers.

Agree, i think the campaigns become not too profitable since many ICOs failed to raised enough funds.
We cannot rely just on bounty campaign to gain profit in this market situation.
Trading some good coins may help us to gain more profit.

If I compare 2017 years bounty to 2019 years then like lot of difference because their is no profitable bounty since of this year 2019. Even you can choose a good project for collecting more token and utile hold come back bullrun market situation.

Thanks to PointPay I can participate in bounty campaign that is paying its bounty participants in Ethereum tokens.
But this campaign ends next year, hope that Ethereum will survive this long period. 

Such good bounties are rare to come by. Paying in ETH helps the project to save the project tokens for investors and also save bounty hunters from the blame of dumping the tokens after listing.

I think market has been the worst for bounty hunters this year uptill now, hunters are either getting peanuts or no reward at all and the situation is really terrible, i think market will take a lot to change this otherwise the struggle of bounty hunters will continue.

that's be common situation now for bounty hunter.many projects didn't give exact date when they will start token distribution.mostly prefer to hold it and wait till bitcoin price  market sentiment recovered.

besides that many projects require kyc to get rewards, this is very dangerous if on a fraudulent project, so the participants submit their identities. especially with a few rewards that do not seem to discourage supporters to support it. but this is understandable given the market is less attractive to investors

Profitable for some and not for many, there are so many scams and failed project now, compared to 2017, I still remember last year there are so many exchange ICO this is because an exchange is a very lucrative business, but they failed to realized the competition is very stiff and they are up against a more stable exchange.

Some of my friends are still making a living out of bounty campaign, but they admit that they have tripled their effort compared to what they are doing two years ago, now they have to join almost all bounty campaign and get active in airdrops, the ratio now is 1 out of 10 is profitable, but you need to join all to find out.

no its not, now many people become bounty hunters so each campaign has many participants and makes the pool look small.
also a lot of bounties cut its allocation before distribution i think right now bountier are dying.
