I think you should choose bitcoin. Bitcoin is primary cryptocurrency or called mother cryptocurrency. Usually Bitcoin up rapidly and altcoin dump, Bitcoin dump rapidly and altcoin dump too. Altcoin up if BTC in sideways.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Why do I have to choose if I can invest on both? But if it's really necessary to choose, I would always choose BTC over LTC.
BTC remains to be the most dominant crypto in the market, LTC is an old cryptocurrency as well but it's not as good as BTC, and LTC will soon be surpass by new altcoins in the market but BTC will always remain the number 1.

Hye, please don't think it is an investment advice, but as a short term trader, I am just asking from you based on your own market research that as whenever BTC flies to moon, Altcoins dump. So based on your speculation in the current market scenario in which Altcoin we should trade ? for good profits ? LTC, BCH, BSV or whatever you think could be the best in usdt market ?
Pick on BTC, ETH for mid and long term investment and maybe you can pick BNB for short and mid trading activity. I usually pick top coinmarketcap coins or maybe coins that still have affect on crypto community. BNB still really used to join Binance IEO and it will always have demand.

We all know that Bitcoin is the top cryptocurrency. We can hold it for long term. Also, it is good to invest on other altcoins which will build your portfolio. I would prefer buying LTC with BTC. The current btc to ltc price is 136 LTC.

I don't understand why you need to convert BTC to LTC with better profits? It doesn't make sense at all. Yes, you can have both coins in portfolio, preferably, majority should be in BTC. If you are not a trader then buy in every dip and take that opportunity to accumulate. And just have LTC as the side as your plan B investment.

I think that he wants to make another profit, so he decides to convert his BTC to LTC. But that could work as we know that litecoin still not increase very high and even, right now, litecoin has decreased too deep. I think by converting his bitcoin to litecoin, he will have a chance to get profit from litecoin when the price increase someday. But that doesn't mean it will happening in the short time because all of the coins will wait for bitcoin step and if bitcoin can increase so high, then I think the altcoin will follow too. That will be great if he can use litecoin as the plan B investment and still use bitcoin as the A investment.

Don't rely on altcoin if you want to earn good on this current situation of market ,because bitcoin is the only one crypto on this kind of market that can give you good return despite of everything .which is because of being so volatile than other coins.. But of course put more money ,so that you can get good return on it as well even in short term. Altcoin is uncertain remember that mate.

The only Bitcoin fork that I accept is LTC, because it has become an independent project with its own history and large community. Moreover, it is well suited for trading due to large trading volumes and wide distribution and listing on all major exchanges. Litecoin is growing and developing, but I think that it can never replace Bitcoin and become stronger than Bitcoin.

even though there is a lot of FUD about bitcoin right now, even if you read the news, then FUD about bitcoin is more dominant than the benefits. but, I still prefer bitcoin over LTC, BCH, ETH, and others.
this is based on the development of the BTC in early 2019. the development that occurs in BTC is even more than 100%. to be honest, I also hope that altcoin like LTC, and ETH, only so far the potential of bitcoin is far greater than the development of the two coins.
so, between BTC, and LTC, or another altcoin, having BTC is my priority right now. Well, I also do research, and predictions every month, and if I have a lot of bitcoin, it will certainly benefit.

Moreover, it is well suited for trading due to large trading volumes and wide distribution and listing on all major exchanges. Litecoin is growing and developing, but I think that it can never replace Bitcoin and become stronger than Bitcoin
I can also add another indisputable advantage that Litecoin offers
For example, when Bitcoin fees had skyrocketed along with its price in late 2017, Litecoin became extremely popular and immensely instrumental for moving wealth to and from exchanges as you didn't have to pay exorbitant fees like 50 dollars per transaction if you had to work with Bitcoin itself. Instead, you could simply use Litecoin as Bitcoin's proxy by hedging the former against the latter. That basically allowed you to trade Litecoin as if you were in fact trading Bitcoin but without having to pay massive fees if you had to move your funds around
Quote from: Becky666 on August 21, 2019, 09:12:08 AM
You are correct but what about withdrawal of the said Bitcoin? Basically I will rather trade in Bitcoin and convert to Litecoin for withdraw because of the fee which is very cheap than that of the Bitcoin. Also, most of my favourite trade coins are Ethereum and Litecoin among others
Yeah, that's my point exactly. But you don't have to convert to Litecoin when you want to withdraw as you can safely trade Litecoin instead of Bitcoin in the way described above without having to incur the losses due to such conversions

If you are looking for quick profit, I don't think any altcoin is worth investing now on this year and getting quick profit from it.
This year, altcoins are not really making more sense and moving in the right directions. They tends to be risky, for me, I would still go for Bitcoin, though LTC seems good. You should consider checking on Stellar Lumens (XLM) too.
This year of altcoins is only good for accumulation and I think many people should only take advantage of this year of altcoins to gather so much potential altcoins against other years that altcoins will become profitable, but for this year, many people can all see that this year is the year of bitcoin, and it’s had enough volatility for anyone to be able to make as much as they can.
This period that bitcoin started its horse raise, many people has make at east 10x of their investment, that is for those who are into short term trade, because they have entered and exited the market several times, and each of those times that they enter the market to buy low and sell high as really been a profitable one for them.

With the three options mentioned above, I choose to invest in bitcoin above them because bitcoin has a high possibility to give better profit than others. It can record over $500 - $1,000 in a day whereas Litecoin and others hardly go above $100 profit in a day.

Yes it's true that when btc rise up altcoin dump. And it's happen because of btc popularity. No matter which altcoin you talk about it's not much popular than btc. That's why people eyes on btc when it's rise again. But if want chose some altcoin then BNB is perfect for that i think. We all talk about ETH, LTC or BCH but my opinion BNB have great future than those coins. And that moment not so far when BNB will be on of the top 3 altcoin in CMC.

We can still gain profits from a long term or short trade investments with BTC. As you can see, from my experienced bitcoin and ethereum are the main stars of the cryptocurrency. Hence, if you want other altcoins for short term investments, LTC and BNB can be a good choice and oh IOST, XRP, too.
Just choose altcoins that have a solid foundation, usually those altcoins might follow bitcoin steps.

Bitcoin is still the best coin for trading, the volatility that is measured in thousands of dollars up or down, what other coins can be so profitable like Bitcoin is? You can`t find them! Short term or long term, Bitcoin is the best, it always bounces back after drop, when it rises enough there will be a new drop again.
Take a look at charts, if you can find any other coin that can be compared with Bitcoin let me know.

Of course, I will have no way to oppose your opinion when it is too reasonable and too much evidence, Bitcoin is always known as something that is too good and sustainable, even if we choose long term or short term, it can always be suitable, very few altcoin is comparable to bitcoin. But this market as the weather every day, bitcoin will have different emotions, it is not always the best, sometimes it can still be very bad and it takes a long time to stabilize emotions, so we should be able to make other choices, not just one, Litecoin is not so bad, it also has a strong time, it will not have a binding feeling

Litecoin halving happening May in 2020 so if your asking for daytrading or short term trading I think there’s some risk buying this one.
While in Bitcoin (as you can see the market dominance are increasing year after year)you have more positive outcome ,but you know the drill mate about the volatile market so whatever good the movement is,chances are may fall the next hour .org days
But definitely not BCH buddy because Roger Ver May take your money lol

I think you want to say it's bitcoin, and not litecoin because litecoin is already halving
Litecoin could be good for trading this year, but the up and down of the price is not too significant, so I guess that you could still make a profit. You have another option coins to trade, and if I can say, you can choose more than 10 potential coins, but you need to analyze one by one. Maybe we can suggest the coin, but it will not work too for other people because we use a different method in analyzing.

Could you explain what you mean by "Litecoin and others hardly go above $100 profit in a day"?
It is kinda easy to understand what you mean by Bitcoin "recording over $500 - $1,000 in a day", which seems to refer to daily price swings (i.e. volatility). But to correctly compare volatility of different coins with very different price tags (like Bitcoin at 10k and Litecoin at 70), you should use relative volatility (read, percentages) and not its absolute value (in dollars per coin). Otherwise, direct comparisons don't make any sense. And if you analyze Bitcoin's volatility versus the volatility of top altcoins, it is unlikely that Bitcoin is more volatile than the rest of the pack. But your daily profits (or losses, for that matter) depend on it

I will still choose Litecoin. But a better strategy is to buy Bitcoin now, wait for it to raise prices and alts to lower prices, then trade to earn more LTC.
Because alts' seasons will come soon, we need to be more patient. When the hype has reached its limit, it will explode and spread to the surrounding coins.
