I have long said that bitcoin can save the world. This is a good example of one use case
The impact of bitcoin on the world would have gone more than this if all those moneys generated by the projects that have been established were actually used. There has been lots of great concept that those altcoins had, and if they had been well utilized, government would have felt the positive impact of it heavily.

This a very good project and this shows that the team are really serious and dedicated, this kind of project is actually a unique one because water is what people need to survive, and people who are being supported by this project would really be happy to have a liberation of what they have been longing for long time ago. I will actually be very glad to support this project also provided they promise to be transparent and do exactly has they have promised.

Thank you so much, you're exactly right... Run for Water is a really serious and dedicated team and we have high hopes that through transparency we can convey that message to the crypto community and increase awareness and support for the communities in Ethiopia. The passion, enthusiasm, and motivation coming from Waraba is infectious and we hope that allowing individuals around the world to contribute and get frequent updates on the GiveTrack platform will spread the positivity.
To check out the progress the donations have made thus far, check out updates on GiveTrack:

Thank you!

P&G already develope an easy way to clean water, and is a cheap way. Or as they say 'A simple way to clean water'.

The process is simple, you add the P&G product to dirty water, and it gets chlorinated and solids precipitate, so you can just filter that an get clean water. 12 packs of this solution has a cost of $20 and each pack work for 10 liters. Is a nice solution, what do you think guys?

I am very happy to see that you are trying to raise fund for helping people who are short in water. I hope to see helping hands especially for all African countries in the future. They need immediate help more than other countries.

I already donated a lot of money to https://thewaterproject.org/donate-bitcoin and what I like about their service is that they are accepting 4 other Alt coins for donations too.  Wink I got some FREE fork coins after the Bitcoin fork and I donated a lot of the BCash that I received to their water projects.  Wink  <They also generate a receipt that you can use for tax purposes>

I see your site wants you to login with Social media accounts and that might be an option that some people would want to avoid. Staying anonymous, helps people to prevent situations where information about them might get into the wrong hands <scammers> and that they might get bombarded with fake sites that wants "donations" for fake projects.  Angry

That's great that you are supporting The Water Project! They are our one of our earliest partners, and we supported three projects with them in Kenya over the years.

For donating other cryptos - GiveTrack has a direct integration with Uphold, and you can donate in now 50 different currencies - both crypto and fiat. Here's a list of all the supported currencies - https://support.uphold.com/hc/en-us/articles/202473803-Supported-currencies

GiveTrack also issues a receipt upon donating, once the transaction is confirmed on the bitcoin network.

You are not required to sign up via social media, it's provided as an option for those who enjoy the ease of that type of registration, but not necessary. You can sign up using an email address instead, and you can easily opt-in to be anonymous to the public, as a setting in your profile. Unfortunately US regulations require that we gather at least some information from a donor.

We are also GDPR compliant, which are the strictest data privacy regulations in the world, so your data is safe.

As a nonprofit ourselves, we've worked very hard to check all the boxes on a resource-constrained budget, and we are proud to offer all these different options, ways to donate, and services to further the use of bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology in the charitable sector.

In fact, such activities really deserve not only respect, but everyone should help everyone around them to live better.  We, the inhabitants of other countries and continents, where there is an abundance of natural resources, would like for the inhabitants of poor countries to also have access to the natural resources of our planet.  The announced projects should really be developed and supported not only by charitable organizations, but also by government agencies of other countries.  Please tell me where you can look at real results or information about the work done in specific countries?  In most cases, only bureaucratic norms and financial issues are discussed, but nobody speaks a word about what is happening on the ground.

Ethiopia has always have water issues, one of my country man is helping feed some kids over there and providing a quality education. I read of how some persons do die of water scarcity in East Africa, so having a charity water project is nice. The technology of getting water through the air might be look into.

It's awesome to see some positive change and impact coming through Bitcoin and not us constantly hearing stories of scammers, hackers and criminals getting away with everything and training the name of Bitcoin all the time. Water is the most primary asset in my books and without it, we would all be toast anyway, so this is a welcome initiative and every village having fresh water, creates a sense of well being in all of us, not just for those who have been empowered and helped with this vital resource. I hope we can find more positive impact stories to read through and also when we have spare bits, be directly a part of. If all of us did a little to help, it would go a long way in changing how our world is shaped today.

I think we need to stop drawing water from under the ground, it is causing some major problems, and increasing desertification. The Chinese are starting to provide desalination plants, and this would seem to be a better solution. It provides a pretty marginal reduction in sea levels, but more importantly, it starts to replace the groundwater, and can lead to reforestation if managed correctly.
Ancient people is the one who knew that we could get water from the ground and it was used ever since that period up to now and now we are taking the toll of what they have exploited.
I think each country already laying down a plan to conserve ground water and recycle water from daily usage of people and rainfall which will greatly help in water shortage we are experiencing now.

It's really awesome to see cryptocurrency being used for donations and charities to help people around the world. Cryptocurrency were already given a bad image because of illegal activities and these kind of ways are great to bring the positive image of cryptocurrency to the public and to stop their wrong thinking about crypto being used only for crimes. I really appreciate those people who initiate these kind of activities and those who support and donate, I salute y'all. Are there any fund raising donations for the environment as well? 'Cause it's really a great movement.

many people who of course want to thank the water project that is run because they have donated clean water to people who really need it might make the poor happy again. This is a very good idea by making plans like that because they still care about people. it is different if we see now that some of their governments no longer fully view the poor who need the necessities of their daily lives only thinking of infrastructure.

where I live is not difficult to find water. but I believe in other parts of the world there are people who really need it and have difficulty getting it. and I am sure because of its scarcity it requires large funds for investment in equipment, and finding a large fund for this project is not easy. I really appreciate this project for adopting cryptocurrency for social needs, which gives people an understanding that cryptocurrencies are not always bad

Africa seems to depend on Bitcoin a lot lately and its good to see how Bitcoin can save so many people and provide them the useful necessary in order to survive. Its sad to see how many problems Africa has and how only a few of them are willing to be solved by those who are having power and money Sad but with Bitcoin we can all help the cause.

This is another thing that bring a good and use the Bitcoin for good. A lots of thigs are keep on coming the Bitcoin way but everything has its reason. And now, for this kind of activity or should I rather call, a project for bringing water to the people of Ethiopia, is a help that should be keep on doing using the presence of Bitcoin if that what can resolve for it.

In what way does Africa depend a lot on Bitcoin? I haven't seen much actual evidence of use in any country that's going through a rough time economically. It has been hyped up a lot in the last year or so, but not much has come out of it.

If we look at the LBC volumes of Venezuela for example, which according to people has seen an explosive growth of use and demand lately, the volume in us dollar has actually gone down instead of up.

I know that people would love to see Bitcoin help people in Africa and south America, but we shouldn't blindly follow what news outlets report about.... so much adoption happening according to them, yet no signs of evidence.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

This is a very wonderful innovative project that seek to give clean and good water to the masses. I will surely read more about this organization and I will be willing to contribute my quota to the organization.

I think this organization is running inside the continent of Africa only therefore more info about this organization is limited but i think they have an honest intention and their help offer is for real so hopefully many generous people inside the crypto environment will share their blessings too.

Thank you for sharing the good news about bitcoin, this will make bitcoin more accepted by the world. I'm actually not surprised to hear
that bitcoin can be an alternative payment for donations, in this case payment of donations for drinking water in the eastern African region
of Ethiopia. Hopefully with an alternative payment through bitcoin more and more people are giving donations to citizens of Ethiopia. Because
of that bitcoin is always called the asset of the future. Because bitcoin can help the lives of humankind, not too long ago there was unicef news
to open an alternative payment via bitcoin too. This is strong evidence that bitcoin is indeed very useful for human life.

The Chinese are starting to provide desalination plants, and this would seem to be a better solution. It provides a pretty marginal reduction in sea levels, but more importantly, it starts to replace the groundwater, and can lead to reforestation if managed correctly.

This is a great suggestion and environment-friendly, too. This is also what some developed countries are doing such as Singapore. The problem with this is that it costs too much for a charity organization which is highly dependent on donors. For sure, they cannot handle the costs for such an ambitious yet highly preferred option, especially if their target countries are located within the central parts of Africa. It would be impossible. Governments have the resources though to undertake such desalination projects.

I noticed that Bitcoin and crypto is rising as an alternative form of donation for charities such as this. I wish this project the best of success in the future. Africa really needs our care and attention.
