~ My friends and I sometimes go to play the slots and I noticed one peculiarity. Most often, those who do not care about winning win. Luck loves those who come not to earn money, but to have a good time. I've noticed it many times.
Putting superstitions aside (luck has no personality, and thus it can't favor one part of gamblers for another), I would say that those who play to have a good time are already the winners, regardless of the outcome of the game moneywise. If you decide to spend(read "lose") a certain amount on having fun with gambling, you will either get you want(good time costing you that amount), or you will win some money. There's simply no other scenario, unless you go over your limits. It's just like paying an entrance fee to a cinema to entertain yourself, For me gambling is a form of entertainment as long as you are not becoming addicted to it. Every time I play I like the thrill if I am going to lose or win but whatever will be the outcome I am happy that I enjoy playing. As long as you enjoy playing, win or lose it is worth it. Yes, I too think that we can compare gambling to going to a cinema. We buy a ticket, and we go to see a movie. Sometimes we "lose", when the movie wasn't that good as we expected. But we don't ask our money back, and we surely don't buy a ticket to another movie right away to "recover". That's what gamblers (including me, sometimes, unfortunately) do when they chase their losses. That's stupid. If you lose, okay, accept it, and move on, try another day (or another week, depending on the amount you lost). No big deal. No one, absolutely no one can win always. That's the rule (or "the secret") of healthy gambling. If you follow it, apart from other advantages, you can enjoy the very fact that you have the strength to follow it, and be happy about that.

I am at position where i still have to figure out all the secrets of good gambling but i have few ways which help me minimize my losses if not garauntee a win. First and foremost, set a budget for the game or the night and try not to exceed it. Also, stay away from using credit card to feed your greed. It might lead you to an addiction and then a severe debt loop. Also, play your moves smartly and dont succumb to excitement on the table.

And to make it complete, let's assume that you are not buying a simple ticket in order to watch a movie but rather a lottery ticket which allows you an entrance to the cinema. You may like the movie or you may in fact dislike it, but it doesn't really matter if your priority or hope is to win the lottery. So if this is the case, you are likely to start chasing your "losses" (unless you win, obviously). Pretty much similar to gambling

I consider playing safe and smartly as one of the secrets of gambling as we know that not many of us think about that. Gambling will be one activity to get fun when we can playing safe and smartly. Smartly here means we can manage the money we use, so we don't lose all of the money.
That is a good mindset. Not many people, particularly gamblers, think that way. Most of the time, they just see gambling as a source of money despite the fact that they know that it is uncertain. This leads to spending money mindlessly and then runs out of their control. When we have skills for some gambling games, we still need to control ourselves and money to be used for the bet.
Right. Just because you have the skills and techniques doesn't mean that you aren't prone to losing or even taken over by greed. Everyone should still be able to control and limit themselves.

Actually there are no secrets in gambling games but you must be able to master the game and know how to play it correctly, the most important thing in playing gambling must be able to control yourself when playing and playing calmly and not carried away by the situation and atmosphere of the game because it will provoke your emotions to is out of control and you have to know the right time to bet and try researching your game beforehand. the most important thing is you have to stop playing when you feel you've won and don't keep playing because if you keep playing you will lose everything, intend to play gambling just for fun don't ambitious to always win because luck will come at an unexpected moment .

Skills will give you a win IMO, when we think we have the skills, that means we possess all the necessary factors to win in gambling, hence that will make us less vulnerable to losing. Having the control is necessary but like I said, that's part of your skills because without all those necessary factors, you wouldn't win anyway.

And what they have said above will be the trailer of that movie (gambling), it will excite gamblers and they will start to apply it when they are going to gamble. I assume that they will be all disappointed on their actions, trying too hard (in the wrong way) will just cause further losses and they will end up begging for money in the street to pay the entrance on their grave (playing gambling).

Dice and similar gambling games such as slots and roulette are purely a matter of luck. I agree with this. But I don't agree to include skill-based games such as Poker in such category. In a poker match, the lucky could be defeated by the skillful. A 2 of diamonds and 8 of hearts will win over a pair of kings if played with smooth poker skills. That's how the two differ in my opinion and experience as well.
Exactly. There are numerous luck-based games within the gambling industry, which can either make you win or lose it all in an instant. Even skill-based games are not guaranteed to make you win every time. However, such games can lead you to towards greater victories than luck-based ones. When you play Dice or Slots, everything behaves randomly in an uncertain manner. At least with skill-based games, you can determine if you're going to actually win the game or not. If you're a pro, you could defeat other players with ease, effectively cashing out the rewards. There really is no secret to this other than being patient and diligent when placing your bets in any gambling game. Even online gambling sites which are proven to be fairer than physical casinos (especially ETH-based ones), can make you win or lose it all in a blink of an eye. This is largely because gambling involves luck (most of the times) than anything else. Which is why, it's recommended to never invest more than you can't afford to lost in order to avoid becoming bankrupt playing these games. If you're only looking for fun instead of profit, then I'd suggest that you look elsewhere (except in the case of certain online gambling sites which have a built-in crypto faucet which allow you to play for "free"). Nonetheless, it's no secret that gambling is not for everyone. Inexperienced gamblers could easily lose all of their hard-earned money. If you ever win a game, it's best to keep the profit instead of using it for gambling. Proceeding with caution is key to avoiding unnecessary risks in this wild venture. Just my thoughts

That is just a lesson on how to win in gambling, but there is no secret method to win in gambling. That is different because you only learn about how to win and not the secret itself. There is no secret in gambling because gambling is the game with the luck factor that we need to win and of course, with money involved. So people spend their money, and if they are lucky, they can get the money, but if they lose, they must accept the loss without trying to get their money because that will depend on the luck itself. But the lesson will be still a lesson, and we can improve our skills in gambling. No matter how high our ability in gambling, if we don't have luck, then we cannot win in gambling.

I don't know how it stands in respect to "going over your limits" (probably, in this case your limits are such that you should never gamble in the first place). However, addiction means having an insane amount of fun (since otherwise you will not get addicted), but we all know the detrimental and oftentimes outright dangerous consequences of an addiction (not necessarily in gambling). So it looks like your "definition" of fun needs redefining
True, one can get addicted to anything he/she is having fun with, and gambling is far from being exception to this rule. The key is to spot the moment when your fun turns into addiction. It's not so hard to spot that moment, if by the "moment" we mean a period of time, which is several days long. If you are having fun with something, you feel good afterwards, full of energy and strength to do many things, things you have to do for work etc. But there is little fun in being addicted. You are constantly nervous, playing much more than you should each day, feeling exhausted afterwards etc. That's how you know that you are not having fun with something, but rather becoming addicted to it. And the earlier you interrupt this downward spiral, the better That makes an interesting point The moment you refer to (being constantly nervous, playing much more than you should, feeling exhausted afterwards, etc) is the one where you can judge whether you are in fact prone to this particular form of addiction. And the interesting part is that if some time "afterwards", i.e. after you have recuperated a little, you feel inclined to continue with your activity, that might be an addiction (and this is where you should stop and think). But if you don't, then it is not and you don't have to do anything

Most likely it is. You know a lot about relaxing. I always go to such events take with me a certain amount of money for drinking and playing, even leave plastic cards at home. And it helps me not to spend anything extra. then if that's the case you are already a winner because having fun like what Betwrong says may cost you some amount whats important is we enjoy the game and become happy in a certain time that we are playing winning will be considered as Bonus if Luck seats beside us,but don't just expect to win yet expect everything will happen and its you who must control the emotion and not the game who will controls you

But if you don't, then it is not and you don't have to do anything I disagree. Defining what addiction or knowing how to know if you are addicted to gambling (or to anything) is not always when you are "being constantly nervous, playing much more than you should, feeling exhausted afterwards" sometimes you also feel dull when you are addicted in gambling, what I mean is too much addiction makes you lose your self, for example, when you lost your capital, you deposit again, then you win, afterwards you felt happy and gamble again, it repeats (you lose again) but it change, you deposited again and lost in a row, and that is when addiction kick in, you are not yourself but continuously betting in gambling, playing dice or poker, and you doesn't even care what would the result be, it is like you are throwing your life away.

Just in case, I'm not defining a gambling addiction in terms of being tired or feeling exhausted. It is what happens after you recover that can be used as a telltale mark or sign whether you are in fact developing a gambling addiction or not. If you feel like gambling again, then you definitely are Conversely, if you don't feel the intolerable and irresistible urge to play again, you just walk away without looking back. Indeed, you may play again in the future, but you will soon get bored and tired, a sure sign that you are not a gambling addict, for any possible definition of the term

After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all, it makes me wonder what could be the secret of gambling? Personally, I find myself comfortable playing crypto-based gambling games, because of their greater level of accessibility than traditional games. I believe that gambling games which use cryptocurrencies and Blockchain tech, are much fairer than traditional ones within the mainstream world. Yet, you tend to lose more money than you've initially invested into a gambling game. Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. There's a lot on Youtube, but it's a pitch for e-books or courses on how to win in gambling and it comes with hundreds of dollars tag, I don't know how effective these are, there's even an e-book about winning in a lottery, but there's no guaranty that these are effective so far no one has posted here that he is successful because of those e-books or courses, or maybe nobody here is buying those yet. I don't believe that it is possible to win gambling games by reading some books or watching YouTube videos. Let me just put it in the real way. Gambling is a luck based game. There is no place for skills here. So far, the human race has failed to come up with the mantra that can be used to tame luck. Moreover, the house plays its own cards, making the win even more difficult. It is best to stay away from gambling.

I don't understand. Why are you posting here if you are thinking that? Don't you know you are here in the gambling section? It would be more interesting for you to post in other sections no?
