i really hated seeing barcelona get knocked out of the champions league by atlético. i don’t think winning the league title will feel as satisfying as it should. you want things to go all the way if they’re going to happen. getting knocked out by a team from your own league is especially bad.

right now, atlético madrid looks like the team with the lowest chance of winning the champions league, but they still managed to knock out barcelona, my favorite team, somehow. i think if that hadn’t happened, a barcelona - arsenal matchup would have been really great.

barcelona needs to focus on nothing else but lifting the league trophy. even though it’s almost impossible for real madrid to make a comeback in this situation, they have no other options.

I think it's mostly because there are many Barcelona fans, and on the other hand, overall, Barcelona's strength this season is slightly better compared to Atletico Madrid. But this is football, where many things cannot be predicted and many surprises happen.
As for Atletico Madrid making it to the Champions League semifinals, I think it's also quite deserved and fair, because the two teams have met very often, so Atletico can better learn to see Barcelona's weaknesses, and they managed to beat Barcelona.

They're looking down on Atletico because they're not always the favorite to win Laliga. However, this season cleared a lot of people doubt on Atletico as they showed the world what they gat. They're the only Spanish team that survived to the semifinals. I believe that Atletico will be able to get a trophy this season.

I think this season can be considered as one of Madrid's worst season. They lost all of their chances to win trophies. They even bottle the league even when they lead 5 points from barcelona end of last year. The worst part is that they're still winless this month.
So i think Arbeloa's position in danger right now. I remember when he said that "as long as Vini happy". So it gives him a karma to put his diva at the top of everything instead of the club itself.

If they continue to keep Arbeloa as a coach for Madrid for next season. We will see the same story like what he does now. So i think Madrid needs to sign a proper coach at summer.

It must be admitted, this season Atletico Madrid was able to beat Barcelona in two different competitions (CDR and UCL). However, their La Liga journey has been less than satisfactory, them remaining in fourth place with 57 points, four points behind third-placed Villarreal.
I'm not sure Atletico can win the UCL trophy considering the other three remaining teams are still maintaining their consistent performance, especially Bayern Munich who managed to eliminate Real Madrid. The CDR trophy may be the only trophy Atletico can win this season, however, their achievement is better than Real Madrid who could end the season without a trophy.

Definitely agree with you—a really bad season is on their hands. When you look back at the start of the season, everything seemed good, promising, and they had a big lead. Two unfortunate losses later, and now they’re looking at Barca’s back, and Barca didn’t let it slip away. It seems obvious that Arbeloa will resign after this, but the question is who to bring in as manager, which areas of the team to strengthen for the new season, and more importantly, who to sell.

Atletico Madrid is a great team. They are quite strong. But their biggest weakness is the lack of consistency in performance. At the beginning of the season, I thought Atletico Madrid would probably fight for the title. But due to their inconsistent performance, they were eliminated from the title fight long ago.

One thing in football is, the popularity of any team is from the number of fans they have in all the countries across the world. There are some countries that people don't know ATM probably they don't have fans but teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona and few other are much popular in the League and they have much fans and another thing again the players in the team or club also sell the club in the public. If people like Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal were in the club, people would have respecting the club. As for me, ATM is good trying team.
