Real Madrid players played well and they deserve this win. Although I am a Barcelona fan. Still, I'm happy with Barcelona's defeat. Because this defeat was necessary. Because of this match, Barcelona's weaknesses are very well visible. Barcelona had 18 shots in this match and Madrid made only 8. However, Madrid's performance was very controlled and composed. From the start of the match, Real Madrid's performance was very composed and the Barcelona players' performance was unstable. In the last few matches we have seen that Barcelona's defenders are not playing well. Barcelona's performance has deteriorated only because of the weakness of the defense. This match proved once again that Ancelotti's match tactics are much better than Xavi's. No doubt Ancelotti is more experienced than Xavi. Barcelona's performance against strong teams is not good. The commentary at the start of the game clearly highlighted the advantage the coach of Real Madrid had in terms of experience coaching his team against Barcelona, more times than the coach of Barcelona had coached his team against Real Madrid. Real Sociedad continue their winning streak. With today's win, they have won four matches in a row. Able to perform well in both Europa League and La Liga. Sociedad is now fourth in the table. If Real Sociedad can maintain this consistency of performance then they can qualify for the Champions League. As teams like Atletico Madrid, Real Betis and Villarreal are not playing well consistently. So Real Sociedad has a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Time for an underdog winner in La Liga maybe?

I wrote in the old thread that I believe Atletico Madrid will open the league in superb form and take 1st position. I am seeing them as winter champions and then it will be a question if they are able to keep it when Barca and/or Real start playing better in few months time. We could have a very interesting league this season.

Anyway, Trofo put me up there for Real...  Just cos I like Hazard.  Too bad he's injured tho.  He won't play for a month or so.

Done and little birdie just told me that Neymar is coming to Real. I really don't know what is in that guy head. You can't spend all summer talking about Barca and then leave for Real. Stuff like that doesn't make you very popular with supporter unless you score 50+ goals in the first season. If you are capable of that you can be world class jerk and they will still love you.

It's still 2-0 in the 2nd half and it's about 25 minutes left. Real Madrid will win that and they will take the lead again. Real looked much stronger and more confident, and I think it's not just that the match was at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid under Ancelotti really deserves the highest praise. Barcelona have created a lot of excitement in the transfer market, but now there is no result that Xavi had hoped for.

No doubt your predictions didn't go as planned ESP 1 . 0 VLL strongly believe it may end that way there is every possibility we might not see another goal. VLL were much reluctant and little bit weaker after the advantage over them, joselu is the man of the game for ESP 2 minutes left let's watch out what it may turned out to be.

Stats this days are don't reflect on the game. Barcelona were totally outclassed today most especially in the midfield, Busquet was to blame he was too sluggish and that lead to the first goal of the game. I think if Xavi doesn't trust De Jong as a lone DM then he should prioritize a younger DM and get rid of all this old players. Barcelona squad has a lot of old players and that is affecting them. Concerning there defence been awful this days I think its because of Arajuo's absence, Barca should just be hopeful he comes back early and also sort for a new defender in January transfer

Great match for Real Madrid today. To be honest, I am very happy with the result and it is as expected. Now Real Madrid have made it 3 points clear of Barcelona although I don't think it's always safe. I am impressed about the result of the game rather than Real Madrid victory. I wasn't sure about the winner previously and I was waiting for 1 goal difference or a draw.
Real Madrid players were able to score 3 goals and Benzema opened the gates before seeing Rodrygo closing it! Barcelona was able to score only 1 late goal.
Dembele didn't score from a month in La Liga and Lewandoski from 2 weeks, at the opposite of Champions League, although they risk to not be able to play there after the group stage..
