Right when it looks like they might have a chance of coming back they conceded a penalty. Not an ideal match for Barcelona at all. Now Real Madrid has taken the advantage of points and become the team in the first position on the table. Barcelona has already done very badly in the Champions League. They will have to somehow find a way to climb back up to the first position in La Liga.

Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti are more experienced than Barcelona and Xavi Hernandez. They know how to punish opponent and how to finalize the match. Barcelona are suffering from injuries which definitely is a huge blow to Xavi, I expected this result today because Barcelona's form and available players are no match to compete against Real Madrid's team with every first team player available including in form striker Karim Benzema.
