In fact, Girona has been quite productive so far, scoring an average of 2 goals in each match and it is not surprising that they continue to get positive results. Even though this team was only promoted last season and in their first season they performed quite well by finishing in 10th position in the standings. It seems that this season Girona should not be underestimated, especially for the top 4 teams who are always competing for the Champions League zone.

Girona is a team we usually see at the bottom of the table.  But their performance this season is surprising everyone. They are unbeaten so far . And after winning 4 out of 5 matches, they are third in the points table. Barcelona and girona are now level on points . The team managed to score 11 goals in 5 matches. Real madrid at the top of the table scored 10 goals in 5 matches . Girona are in great form. Girona's players are surprising everyone with such a performance. The team is very strong and confident this season. I think they will be able to maintain this consistency for some more time. But Girona's performances against Villarreal, Madrid and Barcelona will reveal just how strong the team is.

There's no guarantee if girona's performance will always be sustainable till the end of season. We have not yet entered into the middle of season. It's quite surprising to me after i was seeing girona was able showing impressive performance.
Anyone is starting to have their hopes of seeing girona to perform consistently till the middle of season but i will not put a lot of hope for this club.  Everything is still remain unclear caused by we are still at the early of season.
Girona is performing well now, but other clubs rarely maintain their early success throughout the season.

Is it possible that Girona will be a contender in the top 4 this season considering they are unbeaten in the last 5 matches. Girona achieved their latest victory after beating Granada with a score of 2-4 which made them secure 3rd place. Girona started the season by holding Real Sociedad to a draw. And these results turned out to be a good start for Girona. Because if they can hold Real Sociedad to a draw, who managed to finish in 4th place last season. So of course Girona will also be able to face other teams that are weaker than Real Sociedad. And it has been proven that until now Girona continues to win and has managed to collect full points in the last 4 matches. And next week Girona will face Mallorca. And if Girona gets full points again in next week's match then I will start to think that Girona cannot be underestimated this season.

They will lose if they meet big clubs, Girona should be happy because they were often relegated to league two, their highest position in La Liga is only top 10th position. Actually there's no star players in Girona, all of them are still mediocre. If the players can be consistent enough, I believe those players will move to big teams or other league and Girona is still Girona lol.

Absolutely if Girona meets with big team such as Real Madrid or Barcelona they are definitely going to suffer a loss because they obviously don't have the style of play or the technicalities needed to go against big teams as such and secure a victory, the may only try to defend and cut down on the goals they will concede from the game but then victory will be some distance away from them.

Considering that the team has no star play enough to be considered a saviour when the need arises, they have also been known to manage to escape relegation most times, finishing top ten most often is an indication that they lack what it take to taken on a big team and win or even secure top positions on the league table. I think one of their big achievement is usually escaping relegation.

Moving on, we could take a look at the bright side, the team can be revived if only the management of the team look into making some critical changes and adjustments to make the team a good contender amongst it's pears, one of such measures I think could be buying of good player to replace the old one so as to achieve desired results and if necessary a change of the coach aswell, more like a total overhaul wouldn't be a bad idea because it's only with time if they continue in this manner they maybe relegated for a long time and I doubt if it's what the management will want for the team.
