I watched the match in its entirety, and let me be very clear, I saw everything I want to see in football. Great tempo, tremendous support from the fans, reactions, tactical camera in positions, announcer, in short, I really watched a DERBY. Atletico worked very well on Real's weak points. Carvajal's absence showed this very clearly. Atletico were very successful in pass traffic and headers and that's how they scored all 3 goals. Likewise, I didn't even watch the Girona match. However, referring to their statistics, of the 7 matches they have played, they have won 6 matches and one draw. In fact, they are quite prolific in terms of scoring goals, they have scored 18 goals in their 7 matches. However, if I refer to the teams that were their opponents, all of them were ordinary teams and perhaps only Real Sociedad were the toughest opponents and the match was a draw. 35 minutes have been played so far and Real Sociedad just scored a goal on the 32nd minute of the match. This was the first shot from them. Not even the first shot on target, this was literally the first shot of the match from them. And they were able to score a goal. Talk about accuracy, absolutely 100%.

Anyway, they have had the majority of the possession. Good to see that they were able to do something with it. Now let's see if Valencia can actually make a comeback in this match or not. I think it is definitely going to be a little hard for them.

I admit that Girona this season has had a very good performance consistently securing wins and for Barcelona it seems like Xavi mistake was not providing the right strategy in the last match and could only get 1 point so the current position is below Real Madrid.
