I feel Real Madrid have great potential to end up as the winners of the laliga as they are really doing great, they started the League on a very good grounds and have ever since kept the energy and continued to scale up the standings making sure to never go down as seen by their results so far in the league. But then I'm very concerned about the UCL as it could be a reason Madrid may not end up the winners of laliga.

Sorry but I think that Barcelona will win La Liga this season. Even though they have had 2 draws, their overall game is very consistent. Barcelona has scored 19 goals and that is the most in the league at the moment. I don't deny that Madrid is a strong candidate to win but I predict that they will be ranked 2nd or 3rd in the League. Girona is not as strong as Barca and Madrid, but their current quality is worthy of considering them as competitors to Madrid and Barca, but this season it is very impossible to win the title.

I'm not seeing Barca as favourite for the tittle,I know they have some players that are actually getting them goals,while Madrid do not have,but that doesn't make Barca the favourite for the Tittle.Genoa have really had a good start to the season,and if not that Madrid flogged them,I believe we would have been saying that they really stand a chance of winning the tittle,but Madrid winning them simply means that they can beat other teams,but won't be able to win the big teams in the league.Now this is my prediction for the tittle,Madrid,Barca, Athletico,and Genoa.These are the teams that will follow each other from my own look of things.

I am also very optimistic that the Barcelona team is performing the way they need to secure the La Liga title this season. Because the dedication of Barcelona team players is much more than other teams in La Liga. So that every player is performing exceptionally well.

Madrid and Barcelona are competing closely on the standings with a difference of 1 point, Madrid lost 3 points because they suffered one defeat, Barcelona lost 4 points because they drew two matches. The fight for the La Liga trophy this season is indeed tighter, I think when the season ends the difference in points will not be as big as last season.

However, it is still very early to talk about the end of the season and winning trophies, so both of them must focus on securing points in every match. The tight competition schedule and the storm of player injuries are always a challenge, for both Madrid and Barcelona, Girona and Atletico could steal the opportunity if Madrid and Barcelona experience a decline in performance.

I think Atletico still needs long way to go to be at the top because their enemies or competitors are two giants who are not easy to overthrow.

The 2 clubs discussed here are always the favorites to win the La Liga title, on the one hand there are those who say Real Madrid will be able to win the title this season, on the other hand there are those who say Barcelona will be the champion. Things are still going on badly for Sevilla in the La Liga. It was like there was some progress in the Barcelona game. They managed to stand strong against Barcelona for a long time. Their fixture is really challenging these days. PSV, Vallecano, Real Madrid and Arsenal are their next opponents respectively. I'm not very positive about especially the last two games but maybe they can do something good against PSV and especially Vallecano.

In my opinion, Sevilla must prepare or train harder for the next match to come, they will fight big teams that certainly have big names, of course against Real Madrid is not an easy opponent even those who are ranked first at this time, but who knows if luck is on the side of Sevilla maybe they can beat Real Madrid to climb to the top or add points.

Sevilla needs to win more points and it doesn't matter what's going to be its opponent. No reason for sevilla to get another loss caused by it will put sevilla in a difficult situation. Sevilla really needs to go up to make sure its club will not be relegated soon. Some losses in the previous matches were hurting the club a lot. Sevilla is still very close to the relegation zone right now. Losing against madrid may also put sevilla back in the relegation zone. It will be so bad for sevilla caused by the club is still in the recovery process.
Im thinking it's almost impossible for sevilla to win against real madrid. The chance is very small to make it happen.

Sevilla may be experiencing difficult times in La Liga. However, Sevilla should not be underestimated because Sevilla has a strong defense. Having Sergio Ramos in defense makes Sevilla's back line very strong. Even though Sergio scored an own goal last week, it will not affect his defense.

They have never failed to contend for the La Liga title in consecutively. Real Madrid and Barcelona are favorites because they have high-quality players who are determined to produce excellent outcomes. Barcelona is a strong contender for the La Liga title. They have always performed at a high level in games. With the presence of other elite competitive clubs, we should expects a better run for the league title.

It can be easy to solve financial problems when one day you decide to live according to your income. But if you have already accumulated huge debts (like Barcelona) then this is a different case. Plus, the scandal about bribing referees is gaining momentum and this affects the image of the club; if bribery is proven, the club will simply go bankrupt.

That's an interesting theory about Barcelona's bankruptcy in case they are found guilty. The problem is that if one club is nuked for some wrongdoings and then other clubs have to be judged by the same standard, the UEFA must fear that their competitions loses appeal. It's the same when players like Ronaldo or Messi during their prime would never get suspended for anything because they are too important.

I think that this is not a theory but simple mathematics: if Barcelona is found guilty, then the minimum punishment is being sent to the Segunda Division and being suspended from European competition for several seasons. This automatically leads to a large loss in earnings, and even if we do not take into account possible breaks in sponsorship contracts, it will definitely bankrupt Barcelona since their debts are huge.
As for your "too big to fall" talk, yes, it's true. I already wrote that even Real Madrid will try to whitewash Barcelona (even if they are guilty) simply because they have a joint business. There is no smell of justice here.

Yep , Sevilla is not looking great at all even if they won their last game. I also believe that this year it will be their first time in so many consecutive years when they won't finish in top 5 in LaLiga because with this current team they had , there are a lot more teams stronger than them. However, after winter break , we could see another face of Sevilla who could wipe out a lot of teams and climb back on top of LaLiga charts.
Like you said above , next games for them are getting from hard to hardest...and they should be awake they need to give everything in order to get points.

The performance of the sevilla team was poor last season. The team was in the 12th position of the points table . The team played well in the Europa League, but Sevilla's performance in every match in La Liga was poor. And this season we are seeing the same thing. Out of 7 matches Sevilla have won only 2 matches. And the team is now at the 15th position in the points table. Very close to the relegation zone. And this is because of their poor match strategy. Sevilla's team is not too weak. If there is a change in match strategy, I think this team deserves to be in the top 6 of the table. But it is definitely time consuming. I don't think we'll see this team improve any time soon. That is unlikely.

Sevilla have some classy players, they should play better than they have shown so far. Seven points from seven matches is not a good achievement for a team like Sevilla, a bad match strategy makes it difficult for Sevilla to win. Sevilla inconsistent performance is very worrying about their progress in the UCL, they could fail in the group stage if they don't improve immediately. Jose Luis Mendilibar performance in the last seven matches is still far from expected, there needs to be a change in Sevilla strategy to recover in the next match, especially since currently they are only two points ahead of the team in the Relegation Zone.

Sevilla is performing in this year's champions league.  They played well enough against Lens in the first match of the champions league. The match was drawn 1-1. Perhaps sevilla want to secure the europa league ticket from third place in the champions League table. But I would say Sevilla should give their full focus to La Liga. Because the team has no chance to do well in the Europa League if they continue to perform as badly as they are doing. Sevilla's squad is quite strong but their match strategy is weak this season. Coach Mendilibar should bring changes in Sevilla's match strategy. Otherwise, the team will not be able to stay in a respectable position in La League. Can't even do well in Europa League.

Honestly they did exactly how they were suppose to do. People expected a lot more from them because they won a very highly controversial finals last year, which we all know that they did not deserve to win anyway, but they still did so people started to expect a lot from them. But the reality is that they are not a good team, and they weren't all that good last year neither and right now we are seeing them have some changes.

I think the best thing about them this year would be finishing in European stages, which is the top 6 or 7 teams in la liga if I am not wrong and that is why I believe that it would be hard for them to be even in there. Sometimes you just have to accept the fact that you are doing badly and not going to end up with a good result in any case, and just focus on doing better next season even from October.

So is the rule set that straight? Is it set in stone that if they are found guilty they will get the punishment you just mentioned? I would be all for it, but I felt for a very long time now that clubs can mostly do whatever they want and nothing happens as long as their name is big enough in the business. Juventus Turin's punishment wasn't that spectacular either although they got sent into the Serie B once.

But in Barcelona's case even if they prove payments to this referee they will call it a consultant contract. Or I think they have done it already. They will then check game after game and see whether Barcelona clearly got some referee advantage. And even then the question is whether the referee decision can be proven to have been based on bribery because other referees also make mistakes. I don't believe this is going to be big, but if there was money involved for a referee and there is anything they can prove, then so be it and bye bye Barca! Triple B!

Las Palmas won in a battle between 2 teams that I think are aimless in the league. The 2 teams will most probably fight to stay in the league this year.
The most important match next week is of course Atletico Madrid vs Real Sociedad. In this battle of 2 teams that started the league in form, the winning team will psychologically continue in the league in a better way. Realmadrid happens to be another very big name in the laliga both now and before as they are at the first position, they are topping the table and I hope they maintain it a d probably win the league titles this season, it bean quite awhile since they last wom the laliga title, they are usually known for focusing more of their energy on the champions league were they are doing just fine aswell.

Although I don't think the result of the match will really determine the chance for winning the title (there are still too many remaining matches). But it always brings big impacts on the mentality of players for both clubs. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona will play with their best because it is about prestige.

It is proven that they got losses at home when they played against Real Madrid in the previous matchday.
