Atletico Madrid was not expected to compete for La Liga trophy when the season started. But by beating Real Madrid in the Madrid derby, they proved themselves as a strong team, yes they are still strong in this season. So they are competitive enough to compete with Real Madrid and Barcelona for La Liga trophy. I see it is good for La Liga as being more competitive means more attractive and exciting too.

I'm not so sure, Real Madrid and Barcelona may not be the same teams as they were 10 years ago, but Atletico Madrid have arguably experienced the same decline too, they look far from as good as when they last won the league. This season I am not sure that Atletico Madrid will be Laliga competitors even though they beat Real Madrid a few weeks ago.

Because during the Derby match, the atmosphere is definitely different, this is a match between prestige and self-esteem, so in my opinion, even though Atletico Madrid managed to beat Real Madrid, it doesn't necessarily mean they will be a strong team and can continue to be consistent every match. Because to be a title challenger, Lailga has to play consistently every game, and I don't see that with Atletico Madrid. This is just my opinion. This season's La Liga will still be a competition between Barcelona and Real Madrid where the points will not be too much different until the end of the season.

A few days ago, Sevilla fired their coach, Jose Luis Mendilibar, due to frequent bad results in the several matches they have played so far. From 8 matches, Sevilla only won 2 times and this really threatened their position in the relegation zone. Even though the season is still long, Sevilla certainly doesn't want them to continue to be at the bottom of the table and this time Sevilla seems to have started to find a potential new coach, namely Diego Alonso and reportedly Sevilla is currently still in the negotiation stage to convince him to become Sevilla's new coach.

Mendilibar was lucky enough in helping sevilla to won the europa league last season. I's time for management to change him even though sevilla was winning europa league trophy under him but mendilibad didn't even able to give promising future for sevilla.
The club had been showing the worst start in this season. I could not even believe how sevilla was staying at the relegation zone. The gameplay of the club in the la liga is far different compared with another competition.

It's likely that if we will see a big change to happen for sevilla after mendilibar will be replaced by a new coach. Im waiting such moment to come. It's caused by sevilla was in disastrous season under mendilibar.

I get that ATM is also a good club but I do not think that they have the experience they need to be champions again, they did that recently and that was a good period for them but right now both other teams are doing wonders with amazing new young talent as well.

With the current conditions, putting Atletico Madrid the same as last season is clearly something wrong because looking at what happened at the beginning of this season it can be said that Atletico Madrid's performance is very good and compared to the previous 2 seasons this is the best start of the season for them.
I think this could be a good reference and we can put Atletico as one of the candidates to be a compettor with Barcelona and Madrid.

At least as a coach, Mendilibar gave Sevilla the only final trophy last season and I think all parties at Sevilla must appreciate his performance despite the bad results obtained so far. Sevilla really has to move if they don't want to experience the same season as last season when they finished in 12th place in the standings. In fact, Sevilla is now behind Valencia, who were below them last season. Certainly what Sevilla needs now is a coach who has a clear vision and mission and of course experience must also be taken into account so that Sevilla has a stable performance under the leadership of its new coach.

La Liga is a difficult league and only elite teams can take charge of what to win and earning good points in games other than average clubs that keeps struggles till the very end. Who says that Atletico Madrid don't have enough competitiveness to keep up with Real Madrid and Barcelona? I think they need to open their eyes a little bit more, they're holding on to their previous form and they're trying to be better than they were last season, if you watch the games you'll be more interested in how they play on the pitch, they're much more slick with the ball.

 There next match is against Almeria who are at the bottom of the league and expect Girona to win against them where home or away cause the Almeria team are very low on the confidence level and that's what Girona should capitalise on.

Seeing the consistency shown by Girona in nine weeks in La Liga, it is not impossible that they can finish in the Europa League or UCL zone at the end of the season. Girona is considered a dark horse this season despite the fact that they have only been promoted to La Liga for one season, it is true that they have only been able to be consistent when facing clubs of the same level, but when facing a big team like Madrid they have to admit the strength of Ancelotti squad. Judging from Mbappe’s age and performance he is worth that much though and he would be really helpful for Real Madrid because they lack a clinical striker and a team like Madrid should not settle for an average striker like Joselu.

Bellingham is a midfielder who would definitely run out of luck and experience goal drought sooner or later because he is not a striker and the coach himself made mention that he doesn’t consider him to be a striker so they are not dependent on his goals but it’s good for him and the team when he scores goals. I hope Mbappe’s arrival would not affect other players because i feel he and Vinicius might not enjoy playing alongside each other just as it happened with Neymar and Messi.
