We just need to wait for how Madrid's formation will be next season because after all Madrid is always identical to 3 strikers even though last season there was a difference where Ancelotti was more interested in playing only 2 strikers as an option because indeed last season Ancelotti was more inclined to play Jude in the second striker position.

But looking at the current conditions, I think Ancelotti will return to the formation that Madrid has always done where 4-3-3 is always an option.
The scheme is that 3 players in defense can be placed anyone although I prefer to see Jude, Tchouameni and Valverde as starters and Camavinga, Modric and Arda as coatings there.  The 3 strikers up front would be Vini, Mbappe and Rodrygo with Brahmi and Endric as options.

This is still the most likely situation especially with the nature of Tchouameni and Camavinga who are flexible enough that Ancelotti will not feel bothered to maximize the midfield and defense so that the focus on attack with 3 strikers is still very possible to happen.

I think Ancelotti made us curious about the answers he gave in the podcast. But if my assumption is that Mbappe will play as a center forward or flanked by Vini and Rodrygo then we will see a new trio in Real Madrid's front line. I think the players must be ready for a new position if that is what Ancelotti does this season. Indeed, Ancelotti is very clever in formulating strategies by placing players who have no difficulty carrying out their duties.

There is nothing that can be said other than Ancelotti's great success in assembling a team for the long term because for now almost all the players are young and the transitions they have made have shown quite satisfactory results. I can only laugh while watching Barcelona's steps and ambitions. As a poor club, Barcelona deserves to be appreciated for having so many desires to buy this, buy that, sell this, sell that and so on. Laporta is under pressure to be able to turn around the club's very minimal finances. Not only Gundogan, there are Barcelona players who are in demand by many European clubs. If Barcelona needs additional funds, of course, they will sell De Jong, and Roque will provide an injection faster by buying Olmo and Williams. Before it's too late because in the transfer market having money is the main point so Barcelona competes with other clubs to get the player's signature.

Lol... they have their  major setback to be financial status but atleast they're making effort to turn that... Xavi knew the  club status which was why he tried to build Lamasia's players, sad he couldn't finish that but at least he discovered new talents which will be of valuable asset  to the club. Its not really a must to get both since we can't afford it but any of them is fine preferably Williams.
Barca can't sell dejong because he's valuable to the club, his impact was felt last year after he had injury and do did Gavi not long,Flick seem to have interest in Roque which might not make the club to sell him at the moment

What is clear is that for next season Ancelotti will not be able to play 2 strikers because after all, with Mbappe's capacity as a targetman it is still possible, especially with Vini and Rodrygo who are more comfortable in the winger position so that indeed 3 strikers can be more suitable.

Yes, it could be 4-3-3 where this formation would be quite ideal considering that Mbappe is already filling the number 9 jersey. All players must be ready to accept the changes that Ancelotti will make in setting the ideal formation this season. OK, let's talk about Mbappe, where many say that he will be plotted in the position left by Benzema and that will be quite beneficial for him because he will continue to be able to score lots of goals from good passes from Vini and Rodrygo.
Apart from that, we will see what formation Ancelotti will use in this pre-season match where Real Madrid will face AC Milan at the beginning of this month.
If there are changes, of course pre-season matches will be quite ideal for coaches to look for the best way to find the right solution.
