I think Nico Williams has officially become a Barcelona player. Because there are many rumored images circulating on the internet. Reportedly, Barcelona has also given a warning for him, if he is not willing, Barcelona will not proceed with his purchase again. I don't understand if this is Barcelona's business strategy or indeed he will still stay at the Athletic club. 

Nico Williams is acting in a great class whereas he stays at Athletic Club. Though he could be playing anywhere, this child has skill and is choosing to stay where he is comfortable, where he is growing. In this sport, we really need more of that kind of loyalty and concentration. Barcelona says they wont be interested next year; thats simply tough talk. They're trying to pressure the kid, but Nico's not playing that game. A winner makes decisions; he is doing so now.

This tells all the young players out there not to hurry things, to take their time, to grow their abilities. And to the major teams: you cannot harass athletes today. The game is evolving, and its about time players began dictating the moves.

I had doubts that Nicole Williams will just jump to Barcelona without thinking twice of the club Bilbao that notured and brought him to the lime light, that would have been too harsh. Barcelona cannot threaten Nicole Williams of not signing him next season if he refuses to come to Barca because he still has a club that cares for him and he is loyal to them.

However, Nicole has his elder brother in Bilbao Nyaki Williams who will always advice him to the right thing to do, and I believe that his elder brother will be the reason why he still wants to play in Bilbao for one more season before leaving. Blood is thicker than water.

While some of the players in City vs Barça game were starter level, most of them weren't and we can't make a guess based on this game at all, for neither teams. We need to consider how we could make sure that we can make predictions based on the games that actually matter not these.

Barcelona is a far worse team than Manchester City and everyone knows this, like if they face each other in UCL quarter finals or something, do you have a doubt about City winning that? I have zero doubt that City would be able to win easily without a trouble. This is just a friendly and I can see at least 7 players that may not play during the season, from both sides combined.

So this was just fitness check and nothing more, plus this also makes them money too, friendlies are not free tickets, people still pay tickets for this and I think it is quite nice to see something like this, allows people to have a better chance and a greater result, also means merch deals as well, like getting jerseys or whatever for people who go to these games. So this was just for the money and fitness, nothing more was intended for this game and do not make any predictions based on the 2-2 tie result and predict anything about the season.

In essence, Barcelona and Man City in yesterday's match were not serious matches for both teams who wanted to try to play some second-tier players or even young players who would be considered if their performance was very competitive.
