Pre-season friendlies and their results dictate nothing. Even if a team loses all their matches, we can't write them off. Pre season is all about coaches finding out the right players in their starting XIs. Testing out as many players as they can. That's what preseason is all about.

If talking about Barcelona and Real Madrid specifically, they had decent preseasons each. Both teams have a decent squad to work with, especially Real. A lot of talents to browse through, and star players too. They kicked off well and might end up with 1/2 trophies in the end. Barca also trying their best to find the sweet spot, with a new gaffer in the club. La Liga should be interesting in 24/25, with Atletico also strengthening their team.

I do believe this to be 100% true, there are so many people who do not see this as a way of getting out, and because of that I think it's clear that we are going to end up with some issues we are not very much aware of, that's the most important point. I believe that we are going to end up with some results that will be good enough, and because of that we need to be careful with what we do, and if we know what we are doing then we are not going to be bothered at all.

We could keep this going as much as we can, and we are not going to end up with any comical level of problems, it is going to be quite good one way or another, that's the outlook when you are a good team. Even if you lose all your friendly games, you are still a great team anyway.

The Bilbao side have themselves to blame on this 1-1 draw, this is the first game of the season and every team would want to get all 3 point just to be at the top of the log but the manager Valverde gambled with the game, knowing quite well that the Getafe side also are hungry to make a statement and also want to get all 3pt, now you have see how difficult the defense line of your opponent are and the midfield down to the attacker are stronger and doing better than your team, why not bring in your attacking power Nico Williams to combine with his brother to make something happen but he waited till it was late, there was nothing to do with how the away team was pressing and defending, it was well planned by Getafe.
The away team played better to even put more pressure on the host and I was expecting a win but they (Getafe) were unlucky to not convert some of their chances and these guys became more faster than we used to know them, I just hope they continue like this to cause more problems to their opponent in the next game.

I don't understand what strategy Valverde implemented because he benched Nico Williams and played him as a substitute. In fact, if you look at Nico Williams' big role, he can certainly trouble the opponent's defense if he is given the opportunity to play in the early minutes. Of course this is a big loss for Bilbao because in the first match they wasted the opportunity to get 3 points because they were playing at home and were also able to dominate the game but in the end they had to share the results with Getafe.

In another match, Girona also drew against Betis with a final score of 1-1.  Losing Dovbyk has disappointed us because he was the star player they sold in this transfer window. I think Girona will not be as strong as last season because their strength is not completely good in today's match.

Three matches have been played in the La Liga competition so far. If I talk about the first 2, both of them have been drawn. I really thought we were going to see a win in the Girona match. Because you know Girona has performed well in the last season. But I guess as this is the start of the season, they are a bit rusty. As the season progresses, they will start to perform better. But if they actually want to have good competition for the La Liga title, they will have to win matches like these. Because otherwise there is going to be a big difference in terms of points created between them and Barcelona or Real Madrid. The next match for Girona is going to be against Atletico Madrid and that is going to be much harder.

At the moment Danny Olmo is still not registered and will not take part in Barcelona's first game against Valencia and I think that if Barcelona could have registered him, they would have done it already, because it is unlikely that Barcelona would have paid 60 million euros for him.
Although Flick says that Olmo is not fit yet, but I think it is just a formal excuse, because Olmo played his last match more than a month ago in the final of the European Championship and it is unlikely that he has not had time to recover yet.

Fresh funds or you mean fresh loan, isn't like there is an assurance like if they sign Danny Olmo they are going to win the Laliga but a adjustment of the players to fit into where they lack and even with that, Flick can manipulate his formation and get things right unless he is worst than Xavi they should have maintained for the Job. It was this same frustration funds and the club owners been too pocket tight that made him left the club for where they are right now.

Barcelona hasn't won any recognized European League trophy as of recent and that means there is nothing to show as working to get fresh loans since tbe previous once are not yet settled. They will have to just manage these set of players until the half way of the season before they can sign more players in the next phase of market transfer which is going to be around January again.

I think a have a slightly different opinion from yours concerning the prospective performance of the clubs you mentioned in this new season. Barcelona if you ask me doesn't look like the team that's found the rhythm to challenge for the league title this season. Looking at the Barcelona team and the fact that they do not have a natural winger in the left side of attack, I do not think they can challenge Real Madrid for the league title this season. There's no doubt that Barcelona is one of the most successful clubs in the league but without being sentimental, I think Atletico Madrid posseses more threat than the Catalonian club. Real Madrid won the Spanish La Liga title last season but a critical look at the team and quality of players at the club manager's disposal, I'll be extremely shocked if Real Madrid fails to retain the league title

It wasn't just Olmo who had problems registering for the season, but three other players namely Martinez, Torre, Pau Victor and Alex Valle and it's unclear what will happen now.
If Barcelona need 60 million to register Olmo then Laporta is in big trouble.
It's good that at least Ansu Fati and Langlais could be registered and now in case of sale or rent, Barcelona can spend the money according to the rule “1+1”, but still I think 60 million will not be easy for Barcelona to find before the start of the season.

I know that some people are ready to criticize Barcelona only because Olmo hasnt been registered yet. Hey, we're not talking about any random team here; this is Barcelona. The ones doing it are experts. Dont you think they've already signed Torre and Martinez, two important players? What this means is that they are constructing a winning team, making wise decisions, and keeping the books in order

Is Flick's review of Olmo's fitness still up for debate? This isnt a bargain that was made in a backroom, trust me. Barcelona is home to some of the world's top doctors and hospitals. The reason Olmo isnt prepared is his own lack of preparation, not a secret they're trying to hide. When you bring in a guy of Olmo's caliber, it takes some time to settle in. They should check his fitness, strategies, and team chemistry to make sure he's ready. Be patient; it will be worth it in the end

Girona indeed failed to win in their first match but a draw is not a bad start either, especially since that 1 point is obtained through an away match. But I also agree with you, if Girona cannot improve their performance, then this will be a tough season for them because they will not only compete in La Liga but also have to play in the Champions League. With their current level and performance, it's still not enough to keep them safe in the Champions League.

This is not a bad start for the team even though this was not what was expected to be the outcome of the match. They still have a lot of time to repair their mistakes and they should do that in a jiffy because the earlier they do it, the better for them and how far they can go in the league. The champions league also awaits them, and performance like this can’t make them go that far in the champions league if they don’t improve.

Preseason are not used to judge the best performance of a team or what they’re going to be like when the season finally begins. It’s majorly use to test new players, and try out new strategies before the main league begins. I have seen a lot of teams that have played poorly in the preseason and did better in the main league and also have happened the other way round.

About the injury, I don't think it's just only gonna be the first match only but maybe not too much , I could see de Jong,Gavi and Pedri recovered already but I don't think he will be risking them at the moment especially  pedri and Gavi , De jong missed half  of last season game due his injury I think he should have recovered more, same with Gavi .... Hansi Flick needs to find a way to deal with this injury of a thing resting, I don't know how he will do it but he needs to rest players on regular basis because ar rge moment they can't afford to have more injuries in the team.
