Girona's results in La Liga last year were exceptional, because due to their budget and population size, it is not normal for them to fight for the top positions, and they were normally a second division team. We had a similar case years ago with Deportivo de La Coruña, now in the second division, but who shone and managed to win a league and two Copa del Rey.

I just saw that La Liga has started and there are even 2 matches. I think the game will start this Saturday. Girona have contested and drawn. I think it was a pretty good start. Girona plays at Real Betis. So with good statistical conditions, Girona managed to control the match. I'm not too sure about Girona's condition this season. But this is also the same when thinking Girona will be out of the top 5 at the end of the season. But all my predictions were wrong, Girona was able to play well. There are opportunities for every team, but it is possible realistically a team with better players will perform better.

Girona were really seeming like they would lose at halftime. Because they played really poorly in the first half. But after some improvement they stole one point by 1-1. Playing away against Betis is always difficult for most teams in the La Liga. They lost home only 3 times last season. Congrats to people who bet on both teams to score for this one. I think it was logical to bet on. It seemed risky to bet on a side to me honestly as it was just the beginning.

I didn't watch Real Betis' game against Girona, but based on the highlights of the performances I've seen so far, Girona was lucky to draw the match; though both teams performed well, Betis attacked more than Girona. Girona's performance was poor in the first half, but they were able to draw the match thanks to Gabriel Misehouy, who scored one minute after being substituted. It is very risky to bet on a team at this point because it is the beginning of the season and not all of the teams will be at their best, maybe I'll wait two to three weeks because I can't afford to lose right now.

Bilbao, on the other hand, I don't believe they drew against Getafe due to Nico Williams was on the bench till the 70th minute of the game, even without Nico Williams in the first half, they performed very well they missed several chances to score goals, Bilbao dominated the match with 70% ball possession, one can not get a team to win a game, it's only that victory was not on their side in the starting game. Bilbao will face Barcelona in their next game, and I can't wait to watch how Nico Williams will battle against Yamal.

It is not easy for Girona to win at Real Betis headquarters, the home team always manages to trouble their opponents when playing Home and Away. Girona were lucky not to suffer a defeat in their first game of the La Liga season, but I am also not so sure about Girona ability this season. They managed to make a big surprise last season, but this season they will struggle to achieve the same achievement.
Girona have also lost one of their best strikers who moved to Roma, the departure of Artem Dovbyk will affect the sharpness of their front line. I have seen how Atletico Madrid and Barcelona reorganized their squads, while other teams were competing to bring in quality players, Girona sold their best player who managed to become the top scorer last season.

Nico Williams is not injured or out of shape, but Ernesto Valverde did not start Nico Williams, Athletic Bilbao had everything in that match but could not take 3 points from Getafe. Getafe got 1 point, not bad for them at the start of the season & playing away, they deserved a pretty good result as their performance was quite stable in this match.

The Bilbao side have themselves to blame on this 1-1 draw, this is the first game of the season and every team would want to get all 3 point just to be at the top of the log but the manager Valverde gambled with the game, knowing quite well that the Getafe side also are hungry to make a statement and also want to get all 3pt, now you have see how difficult the defense line of your opponent are and the midfield down to the attacker are stronger and doing better than your team, why not bring in your attacking power Nico Williams to combine with his brother to make something happen but he waited till it was late, there was nothing to do with how the away team was pressing and defending, it was well planned by Getafe.
The away team played better to even put more pressure on the host and I was expecting a win but they (Getafe) were unlucky to not convert some of their chances and these guys became more faster than we used to know them, I just hope they continue like this to cause more problems to their opponent in the next game.

This season after Real Madrid bought Mbapep they will have more fans interested in watching the games of this team in stadiums. that's normal to see Real Madrid increase the price of tickets in this season to get more benefits considering the players they bought and the inflation during this year. But the fans of Real Madrid are now going to pay the minimum of 95 euros for in the cheapest situation which is going to be against Valladolid.
If I'm not wrong they increased the price of tickets by more than 70 percent.

Bilbao  not appear optimal in their first match when they faced Getafe who clearly had a squad quality below their, Statistically even before the match started, Bilbao on paper was superior to Getafe, but Bilbao who played at home were not able to do much in the match, In fact, Bilbao was win with first a goal scored by Sancet in the 27th minute, but instead they lost concentration and even their defense looked very careless when the second half started,  Bilbao first match did not go well, so make they ended the first match in la liga with a score of 1-1.

Betis had early success with the first corner kick but were more aggressive later on. Attacks often lead to success but with a kick hitting the crossbar, a goal that would have surely won Betis. But the players of the Girona team were not deprived of attacking, they continued to attack one after another, but in the last 72 minutes, they succeeded in an attack.

Now he has shone at his debut, let's see how well he'd adapt at the club and also, let's see if his attitude will remain the way it was while he was at PSG because you'd often notice him waiting to be fed the ball back there but at Real Madrid, we saw him fighting for every ball and every little chance he got he wanted to utilize it well. You could see he was desperate for the fans to fully accept and love him.
 I'm full of anticipation for Real Madrid this season. At least with Mbappe's presence, Vini Jr's creativity will be fully used as there will be a great finisher to give good results.

I believe Girona will not be able to do as well as they did last season. They began the season by drawing their first game against Real Betis; they did not put out enough effort in the first half, which is why they did not have more opportunities to score. But I knew the game may end in a draw if Real Betis didn't score in the second half. Girona pressured them in the second half and had chances to score goals; they need to put in more effort in their next game if they truly want to win the league, but I won't blame them because it was their first game and they didn't lose, they share the point. Sevilla's encounter vs Las palmas and I think Sevilla will be the favorite of getting the three point because I see they are more better then them. and last season they defeat palma home and away so I think they can still repeat it again this season. Last five game they play against las palmas they usually defeat them so I don't think Sevilla will see the match tough tonight.

Firstly I would like to commend the away team, Getafe for the way they approached the game, the intensity they used, and their pacy styles of attack which I find very unique especially from a visiting team, it seemed as if Getafe were the ones playing at home at some point, though they were very unlucky upfront and couldnt utilize their goal scoring opportunities when they had them. For the home side, I think coach Enersto valverde should be blamed for his side's poor performance, I don't see the reasons for him to have kept his best player on the bench when he is fit to play especially on the opening day of season where you need to grab all 3points.

Is just that we feel Getafe is not a big club but they are actually a good club and a strong one at that because, their approach against athletic club was insane, when atletic club scored first it was as if it was over for them, oihan scored a good goal at their convince, and both teams are actually did well during the game, at some point the way Getafe was pushing it hard I just knew they will definitely score, they were several attempts just that its was all failing and both of the clubs had the chance to actually win the game yesterday and it will continued to happen until uche scored for Getafe, and they ended the game draw, and I was surprised that even Girona playered draw and season it's an early season we can not yet judge a book by its cover so we wait till the end, Girona will definitely be among the top three.

I don't think that Barcelona challenge is the funds to seal up the deal of Olmo and I will believe everything Flick says about Olmo health condition because I don't see any reason why signing Olmo is on the media when they don't have the funds at hand to seal up the deal.

It will be a mess if it is a no true because Barcelona is bigger than this. Like I said in my previous post on Olmo, if he doesn't play the first match doesn't mean that Barcelona will not win the match because we have not watch him play with the team even though I know he is a goodbye player. Meaning currently he has no impact yet on the team which has been proven.

So in other words you're saying Barcelona will loan or sell him since they won't be getting any 60 million to register Olmo? Is that it? Olmo did not take part in the friendly match against Monaco, in fact, he did not play any pre-season game so how do you expect him to play in a league match? He has only had a few training sessions with the team, that alone should let you know he is not ready. The coach, who is an insider gives an update on the situation of a player, you doubt it, but if the media says "Barcelona is too broke, they might have to loan out Olmo" you'll believe?
Mind you, the other players you mentioned Martinez, Torre, Pau Victor and Alex Valle have all been registered. If registering Olmo will be such a big problem for them there are other players in the squad that they could have sacrificed, not their new 60 million signing.

What Xavi was worried about seems to have happened. He spoke the truth but his words actually infuriated his boss and got him fired because of it.

Now Barcelona must find a way to get fresh funds and I think it wouldn't be strange if in the near time, there will be some players who may be sold to solve that problem. There have even been rumors that De Jong has been linked with Man United again.
