It is natural that most Real Madrid supporters place high demands and expectations on Mbappe, but as explained by many friends in this thread. The point is adaptation, and that is what Mbappe is doing at Real Madrid and Ancelotti must understand the current condition of his players and I am sure that as a great coach Don Carlo will definitely find a way to restore Mbappe's best performance. What I see is that Ancelotti has quite high expectations for Mbappe, as proven when Mbappe had not yet scored a goal in his first 3 matches, Ancelotti still had great confidence in him (Mbappe is always a starter and he is also always the last person to be taken off the field). That faith has paid off, he has already scored 2 goals, and now he just needs to look for more goals in every match. It might not be that smooth because he is still in the process of adapting. Due to having some condition's adjustment we have no ideal start so it's all part of the game but now most chances we will have good results in coming matches as well because he is the quality player, and we can expect good competition for the top spot in goalscorers list against many other quality players those are doing good job in La Liga.

Now after break we will have good start for him because we are also having start of the Champions League which is dream of Mbappé so we will have another era in his career as he will be in limelight for having good performance in these games as well.

I believe Ancelotti understands the type of player Mbappe is, and he knows what Mbappe is capable of, which is why he didn't take him off the pitch right away when they returned to the second half. Ancelotti always gave Mbappe enough time to play because a player like him needs time to adapt to his position. However, Real Madrid fans must be patient with Mbappe, we all know that he usually scores in his previous club, so a play like that only takes a little time and he will continue to score, as he has already scored two goals in the last game.

I don't understand Simeone about why he even started with Alvarez instead of Sørloth against Athletic Bilbao.    He was performing way better you know. If you have a better performer then you should give them more chances. Alvarez has played horrible since he signed for Atletico Madrid. It seems like he has some serious adaptation problems.
It is so early in the season maybe but if Alvarez keeps playing like this his end wouldn't be much different than Felix. I believe Sørloth should be given a chance in the starting lineup for now together with Griezmann in the attacking line. They would be a more effective duo.  

To be honest, I rarely watched about Alvarez when he moved to Atletico Madrid. However, based on what I know, it seems that Alvarez needs adjustment in order to find his playing rhythm with Atletico. As we know, lately Simeone tends to implement a duo striker in his front line. So, it seems that the Argentine international striker needs a little adjustment with his new team. In the match against Bilbao, Simeone again tried to implement a single striker. Unfortunately, Alvarez was unable to score his first goal in La Liga. IMO, I would agree more if Simeone should have let Alvarez adapt first. I mean, he was played in the second half before being really trusted to be the main starter. Moreover, Alvarez is a finisher striker type. He is always good at placing himself in empty spaces in the opponent's area, his goal instinct has been tested. However, it seems that he has to start a new step at ATM before reaching his real performance.

the system Alvarez plays in Atletico Madrid is not suitable for him. See, Alvarez is a central player, he will not be someone who will benefit off of the wing-centric play that we generally see from Simeone in Atletico Madrid. if they want to bring the best out of Alvarez, they need to play 3 midfielders and play Alvarez and Griezmann at the same time as a front striker pair.

Also, fair point on why Sorloth should have been starting, because he is in good form. Managers should always players in form, as that ensures the player stays happy and stays in form. It also initiates the one getting benched to start performing better in trainings, and makes them more hungry to start. Sorloth fits the style that you see in ATM, because he benefits off of the crosses from both of the wingbacks. This is suitable for Sorloth.

Simeone has a difficult job, to use both of the players in the system. I think if he wants to start both of them, he will need to tweak a few things, this will be good for both the players and the whole team too.

Real Madrid's squad depth is basically very special compared to the average of other teams in La Liga. They have attackers who are really dangerous and can easily tear apart the defense of the opponents they face, but in fact Real Madrid's performance can still be said to be below standard in their last few matches. All fans hope that Real Madrid will not have a big challenge in the race for the La Liga title this season, there are even expectations about the treble being won.

Until week 4, Real Madrid only secured 8 points from 2 wins and 2 draws. Barcelona's performance is better than Real Madrid, they securing 12 points without much problem, but it is still early days for both. Barcelona will try to consistently maintain its performance, while Real Madrid will improve its performance and try to get a main position in the standings.

Personally I expected Real Madrid to become undefeated up on the arrival of Mbappe so I had high expectations on them to win all their league matches including the champions league games since the team became so equipped with good players who has been performing so well in the team and the addition of the French man Mbappe gave me another thought of not even thinking about the team facing any challenge in winning matches but I was disappointed after watching their first league game where they find it difficult to score goals.

Mbappe became talks on the town because the expectation on him was much but then people forget that he came from a different league and the players he played with in PSG and his playing position is totally different from what he's playing in Real Madrid but finally after the second game he was able to get his flowers after scoring a brace in his team's 2:0 win at home in their last match.

I guess you place a bet and the ticket gets cut; that is why you are saying this, or did you place a bet on Mbappe to win some numbers of goals, and after he failed to do that, you felt disappointed? Because I don’t really get to understand you that you are very disappointed in Mbappe's performance, remember that Mbappe is new to the team and he needs to take his time to learn how the player is in the Real Madrid squad play so that he will not get confused while in the field, but fans only want a quick result from this player; they don’t want to calm down and see the impact he will be bringing.

It's usually very difficult for player to adapt when they get to a new team especially when it cuts across different leagues, an Italian player who has played in an Italian team all his career moving to England will definitely need some time to adjust both with the environment and the playing pattern and I believe that was almost what happened with mbappe as he arrived Madrid having played in France almost all his career. But then since he's of an international standard, obviously he will need only but a short period of time before he adapt to the Spanish pattern perfectly.

Jude won't be out for too long because he'll probably only be out for a month at the most and he could be fit before the Champions League although he might not play against Betis but for the Champions League in the first game I think he'll be ready to play .  So, with this there is certainly a good hope where he also has to start adapting to a new role when the 4-3-3 formation is carried out especially since we certainly know that the condition of Jude has always been comfortable with the position of second striker but for this season his role is an attacking midfielder who must be ready to become a good play maker just like Valverde .
What Madrid need now is to continue to perform better in terms of attack especially for their goal productivity because if Madrid can improve on that then we will see them in a different way with consistency .

Real Madrid miss Bellingham badly at the moment. Had Bellingham been with the squad, perhaps Madrid's performance would have been more stable. But very soon Ancelotti is going to get Bellingham with his squad. And that's exactly what Ancelotti should be preparing for in advance. Since Ancelotti has already changed his match strategy, coach Ancelotti will have to keep a close eye on Bellingham to have no problem adapting to this strategy. But if Bellingham has trouble adapting to this strategy, then Madrid's performance is likely to be unstable again.

Bellingham also needs to change his style of play. And Mbappe in particular has to build a good relationship. Madrid's overall performance will depend on Vini, Mbappe and Bellingham. Looking forward to see how this trio performs this season.

Madrid's performance so far has not been too bad because they are still very good in the matches they have played and for Jude we still have to continue to be patient because it is likely that he will be there in a few weeks and certainly for the current international break he will miss and the match against Sociedad will also definitely be missed by Jude so that he can recover properly when the Champions League competition for the first match is held then he might be able to play.

At the moment Madrid can still maximize some of the existing midfielders because Madrid's current problem is not about the quality of attacks and players but the effectiveness of attacks and the goal scoring instincts of several attacking players including Mbappe who need to be improved again.

If in the end this can be shown by Ancelotti, then the possibility of a big breakthrough will continue to occur and be carried out by Madrid because after all, currently the defending champion is the status they carry and Barcelona has signaled the war drums for the current top competition so Madrid must prepare to be able to rival Barcelona's impressive performance at the start of the season.

If you lower your expectations on Mbappe, it would be better for you. He is playing in a team that a lot of the players are fighting to shine and also competing for the Balon d’or, what did you expect from them? They are playing well but they’re yet to integrate themselves well, everyone is looking for how they’ll be the goal scorer in the match and top the team. Real Madrid will get better in my opinion but expectations should be lower even though the team is going to be the best in the competition no matter what.
