That was champions league actually and it was their home, Lille really went hard on Real Madrid so the match was so tight, I did watch the game and there was some equal performance from both side just that Lille pulled the trigger first before realmadrid could do anything.

I believe the champions league is one of the most important leagues for Real Madrid and they always play and win to the best they can in any game they play. Playing against smaller teams was a bonus to them and they don’t usually get to face them on a regular and lose to them. Only bigger teams give them tough time but usually pass that phase also after series of face off with them. Losing to Lille was very shocking and disappointing but that’s what football is, takes us more by surprises than it does not by surprises. Ancellotti must have seen their lapses and where they need to structure out more again, so they should just be extra cautious in their next game and this I don’t think will affect their game against Villarreal but will play to win confidently as they always do.
