Atletico Madrid is a team that have a good history in the La Liga after Barcelona and Real Madrid. Their inconsistency in performance is what is killing them and they are yet to improve on that path till the end of last season. They have actually started this season on a good action but one can’t tell how far this performance can go for them. Of course I agree with that, but currently I don't know who is a great striker who is worthy of replacing Benzema in the team when Real Madrid only has Joselu as a center forward. I understand what you mean, because they can't be depending on a midfielder for goals and most people are not very convinced that Joselu could cover up the space Benzema left, i had that doubt too and which they didn't get Joselu, but i noticed something in their previous match against Getafe he's was very brilliant and even scored the equalizing goal for Realmadrid, he might not be as good as Benzema when it comes to positioning and finishing, but i think he's  beginning to read the game and needs more time to prove himself worthy of being their frontman.
 Anyways it would had been very uneasy for Realmadrid to get oshimen this season because he's an important player for Napoli and would play a vital role in them securing their title, asides that his huge clause would had scared them securing a deal with Napoli just like it did with Mbappé this summer before he decide to sign a new contract for PSG, however Oshimen would had make a very good  frontman for Realmadrid but currently he's a Napoli player and Realmadrid are okay with their squad this season.

Yamal plays in the ideal position of two but in contrast to Gavi in the beginning of this season he seemed to be given more authority especially with a new position on the left wing which is indeed much different from his original position at this time so that it makes his performance although still good but slightly reduced.
