Atletico Madrid is a strong team, they can really compete for the La Liga title. If they can consistently collect a lots of points then the title will be in their hands, but there will be a tough job for them against Real Madrid in this month. If Atletico Madrid can win and secure the three points, then they have the opportunity to overtake Real Madrid. In the match vs Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid have the advantage because currently Real Madrid is missing their key player.

Real Madrid next opponent is Real Sociedad in La Liga, while in the UCL group phase Ancelotti squad will face Union Berlin. Atletico will face Valencia in La Liga, and in the UCL Group Phase Diego Simeone squad will face Lazio.  It is clear that Atletico will have a slightly tough match before meeting their city rivals, while Real Madrid will have a slightly easier match.

This derby will be presented in the sixth week, victory in the fifth week of La Liga and the UCL Group Phase will be capital for both of them to appear more confident. I think Real Madrid will be able to beat Atletico at their home ground, because Rodrygo is back from injury.

Correct me if I am wrong, the Spanish championship, or La Liga, doesn`t seem very competitive to me. The strongest teams are

This season doesn't seem to be much different from the previous season in La Liga because the three teams you mentioned will always be seen at the top of the standings from the start of the season to the end of the season even though several other teams might make unexpected surprises. But other teams than the three teams you mentioned will only fight for one of the places in the UCL zone because the other three places are more likely to belong to the three teams you mentioned. Although this season I really want to see another team capable of disrupting these three teams in the top standings.

In the same way I hope to see them achieving a decent success in the Champions League as well. I already see them in last 16. However I think they should be able to reach at least the quarter finals. If they have a solid season like this then I'm pretty sure Simeone would be kept by them.

Atletico Madrid have not been performing well in the Champions League, despite previously reaching the semifinals and even finals under the same management of Diego Simeone. This group stage appears promising to them, and I believe they will advance to the round of 16. After that, I can't say how far they can advance in the competition because we don't know who they'll meet in the round of 16. I hope they can re-create their previous good performance in the UCL, they'll undoubtedly go far, but can they?

Exactly. Especially the previous season performance in the Champions League was really poor as they were able to collect only 5 points and finished at the last position. Atletico Madrid aren't a weak team with a squad like this. They have a much bigger potential in the Champions League like they did in the past.

This season the group stage should be much more comfortable for them. Lazio, Feyenoord and Celtic are all teams that Atletico Madrid can deal with nicely. This is more like a Europa League group actually.    Atletico Madrid should be finishing as the leader.

Atletico Madrid is a little lucky to get a group with clubs that are not too strong, but only Lazio will be the toughest challenger for Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, at the moment, statistically speaking, Lazio's performance is slightly worse, experiencing a decline in Serie A matches, while Atletico Madrid has a very good performance. In LaLiga and in the history of this club, it can be recognized as a very strong defense.

Ronald Araujo's absence due to injury, and Christensen's inconsistency in several matches, plus, Xavi is still trying to play his second tier players such as Sergi Roberto, making Barcelona's defense a little slack. In the end, in four matches they also conceded four goals. Of course, Xavi has work to do to improve his defensive line, and fortunately Barcelona now has Joao Cancelo. If it is about performance from this two teams, I don’t always think too much about their success in the league. They also face hard time like other teams but it does not always affect them too much to the depth that they won’t be able to compete for the title race. The title race always remains between the two of them and sometimes Atletico Madrid also tries their best but not as much as the two of them do compete with each other. Their lack of consistency maybe in the defence or attacking line won’t be a big issue for them because it can easily be fixed between now and their next match which I am certain they will both perform better and excellently well.

If it is about performance from this two teams, I don’t always think too much about their success in the league. Barcelona was really worried in the match against Villareal where currently the quality of Barcelona's defense is having problems. Barcelona conceded 3 goals in that match, which also indicates that there are problems that need to be fixed in defense. Meanwhile, in the next match, Barcelona only conceded 1 goal against Osasuna and in that match Barcelona's defense looked quite good.

Barcelona has a good right-back at the moment, which is definitely useful considering that so far Barcelona doesn't have a good right-back. Cancelo and Balde will likely be the main choices in most matches, while Araujo (currently still injured) and Kounde will play as central defenders. This could solve Barcelona's defensive problems, but Barcelona must do it carefully.

I do agree that they are fine, and looking at their results so far this season, they have been fine without a doubt, just because they got some goals scored on them doesn't mean that they are bad, when you look at the results you see how good they are.

Xavi is doing something that is systematic change, and I feel like that is going to take some time and requires the team to get some adjustments to it, and because of that we are going to end up seeing it change a lot, and may have some hard times. Just because they won it last year doesn't mean that they are going to keep winning neither, it is going to end up changing a lot until they find the perfect balance, last year was pure talent, this year it will be the strategy that makes them win.

Indeed Real Madrid opponent is a slightly easier rather than opponent Atletico Madrid, so yes there is a chance for Real Madrid to get points against Atletico Madrid. Because yeah there is a possibility Diego Simeone squad is tired, but in the last few matches Atletico Madrid have a good performance. Regarding Villarreal's standing as an elite category team, they will face more difficult games forthcoming campaign. Three goals against Barcá were usually the result of Xavi's men's tentative defending queues. Barcelona has to deal with some challenging impediments in league games; the squad is erratic and finds it hard to maintain consistency in games. Xavi Hernandez is experimenting with different methods for his squad, but nothing is permanent as he continues to repeat transitory statistics as a means to understand techniques that is appropriate for the blaugrana.

They have won two of the four Laliga matches they have played so far, which is an excellent start compared to Las Palmas, which has yet to win a single match, and Granada, which has won one match and lost the other three.

Alaves have some experience in the Laliga because they were always difficult to defeat by Barcelona and other great teams back then. I am hopeful that they will remain competitive this season, although staying in the middle of the table will be challenging, but they will undoubtedly avoid the relegation zone.

I prefer to think that they are struggling to score goals rather than not trying to score many goals in a match because looking at their condition for the beginning of this season it seems very difficult for them to score more than 2 goals in 1 match.
There still needs to be some familiarisation when trying out some of the younger players and Lewandowski's performance is still hampered by the opposition's marking which makes it difficult for Barcelona to find many goals in their matches.

Despite this the chances of them winning definitely remain as they are the favourites and the worst possibility is a draw although this would be difficult for Betis to force a draw.

I just hope Robert Lewandowski get back to his full potential like that at Bayern Munich were he could be able to score several hat tricks in one season, ever since he came to Barcelona I've not really been impressed with his performance compared to when he was at Bayern Munich, Barcelona are known to be very dominant and very high in possession on the pitch, they love to press their opponents and force them out of their defense line which is a very fine tactics that could make them easily win matches against smaller club but you'll find them pressing and failing to put the ball into the net, and it would fall back to Lewandowski inconsistency for Barcelona, since he's the top 9 it's his responsibility to get the ball into the net but it's been uneasy for him instead it's the Barcelona wingers and Midfielders that mostly scores for them.

The good news for Xavi is about Lamine Yamal and he had a good performance playing for his national team against Georgia. Today the game between Georgia and Spain Lamine Yamal was playing for his national team while he was just a 16-year-old palyer, he scored a goal for Spain and while he was the youngest player scoring a goal for Barcelona in La Liga, now he is the youngest palyer scoring a goal for Spain.
I hope to see his palyer continue his good performance and Xavi is lucky to have a palyer like him on the team. He can even have the chance to become a superstar palyer in Barcelona soon.

Good record for Yamal. 16 years and 1 goal for Spain. Two records at once he got. This record is a new record for Spain and replaces Gavi the previous record owner. Last night was of course also a tough decision because the Spanish coach dared to play him. But his decision became a very good result. He is a long-term asset for Barcelona and Spain.

In one of the games he played for Barcelona last season that I watched he  really performed so good for Barcelona,  his performance was outstanding and I don't know why Xavi don't normally use  him. The young player is very good and I think Barcelona needs him frequently,  with the way he performs I believe he will always deliver good performance,  his football take looks so original. Yamal is good player that Barcelona don't need to take for granted.

Youngest player to play for Spanish National Team, he will achieve more as he progress to a new level. He has a great first touch and very sharp when it comes to cut in chances and positional plays.
During the next game against Betis, Barcelona should get the better of that game but it seems like all of the first team players are out facing international duties call. There should be tired legs after the international break.

If you ask my opinion, I will say Barcelona will not win that game against Real Betis. The season has kicked off well recoding three wins and a draw in four games.

I don't think the chance for winning the match will be determined by the previous matches. Although Real Madrid got full points from smaller teams, it doesn't mean Real Madrid always got the points easily. In the last 2 matches, Real Madrid won by only 1 goal difference, it means Real Madrid experienced a difficult match. If they play against Atletico Madrid, it must be harder. I personally can't guess how much the chance of Real Madrid to win against Atletico Madrid.

Because yeah there is a possibility Diego Simeone squad is tired, but in the last few matches Atletico Madrid have a good performance. Anyhow, Diego squad looks solid I doubt Real Madrid can win, but be expected Ancelotti can find a suitable tactic in that match at least to surive for draw result.

I think it is a bit nonsense if Atletico Madrid squad will be tired. They are in a good shape, especially after they won 7 goals against Rayo Vallecano.

Congratulations to Carlo Ancelotti for winning the Spanish La Liga manager of the month of August. I must say that there's no other manager in the league that deserves it more than Carlo Ancelotti does after winning all four of their Spanish La Liga matches.
After their former captain Karim Benzema left for the Saudi League, eyebrows were raised on wether the Spanish giants are gonna sign his replacement because of how impactful he's been to the club since Cristiano Ronaldo left in 2018 summer. But even without a recognized striker, Ancelotti has introduced a new formation at the club that's allowed their summer signee Jude Bellingham to be playing as a false 9 and that new formation has really helped the club and the player as the player has scored five goals in his first four league games for the club
