The good thing about Real Madrid is now there is no team to make them stop in the La Liga since Barcelona is not in a good financial situation and this time there is much more chance for Real Madrid than last season because of hiring players like Mbappe during this summer.

Madrid will dominate these two competitions, where the addition of Mbappe will make it easier for Los Blancos to defend these two trophies. That doesn't mean that Barcelona squad depth isn't good, but it doesn't feel like it's enough to win a trophy. Hansi Flick also needs time to adapt, trying to build a squad amidst budget constraints.

Even if Barcelona doesn't fire Xavi, the difficulty of winning trophies will still be the same, but perhaps Barcelona won't be too far behind if Xavi is retained, it will take a lot of luck to beat Madrid next season. Restoring Barcelona is on the top priority for Flick and that's the purpose for which he was hired of which if he fails to achieve, chances are he may loose the job, except if the management of Barcelona, la porte especially is willing to still give him some time with the hope that he improves after a likely first attempt if not an impressive one enough. Barcelona should be expected to experience some kind of improvement by next season following the management of flick.

One thing about Barcelona that flick may not really get to struggle with, may be with their current depth, personally I don't see it to be in a much terrible shape but I know they will still need to get some player with whom flick may find suitable enough for him to be able to work, but with the key players I don't think there will be much need to change them. Hopefully this is a very good step for Barcelona to win in the several leagues they participate in. I'm still surprised that Barcelona president decided to sack Xavi Hernandez in order to sign Hansi Flick as his replacement while expecting the club to perform better under their recently appointed manager. There's no doubt to the fact that Hansi Flick is a great manager that's achieved great football records as a manager but when you look at the current Barcelona squad, you'll understand that majority of the players there are young players who aren't well experienced in football and for them to live to their full potentials, they definitely need a manager that understands them which o think Xavi Hernandez is the perfect man.
Barcelona is currently not financially strong and can't sign quality players so I think their current manager Hansi Flick will struggle to excel with the current squad. Real Madrid isn't just the strongest Spanish team at the moment but all the best in Europe and recently signed Kylian Mbappe to the club so I don't think there's any hope for Barcelona to win any trophy next season ahead of Real Madrid
