Villareal and Real Betis, who currently have the same number of points, seem to have quite equal strength. It's just that Villareal is in a better position when it comes to fighting for the top 4. Because Villareal still has 1 postponed match that they can take advantage of. But in terms of current performance I think Real Betis is really quite good. because they were even able to hold Barcelona to a draw with a score of 1-1 in the last match. But Real Betis' level of attack is not as good as Villareal's, that's what I think. But the position as host in the upcoming match will be quite profitable for Real Betis. So I might favor Betis in the next match.

Real Betis are currently in their best form, they managed to hold Barcelona to a draw and also managed to beat Real Madrid before. Isco and Antony are their best players at the moment. In addition, Real Betis has a coach Pellegrini who is quite experienced so I think they will extend their unbeaten record in 7 matches when they face Villareal later.

Villareal does have one postponed match, but they are very likely to lose points when they face Real Betis, especially since the match is played in front of their own supporters. It must also be admitted that Antony's role at Real Betis is very important, when Real Betis had not brought in Antony, Real Betis was in 11th position and now, Real Betis has risen to 6th position in Laliga which is the last position for a ticket to Europe next season and they still have a chance to finish in the UCL league too if they can take advantage of every match until the end of the season.

Atletico Madrid does have a decent team, Simeone managed to make that "rebuild" nearly seamless, sure they had a season or two where it didn't look good, but look at how strong they were this time. They will be third in the league, semi finals at cup, and last sixteen at UCL, a great way to start first leg of rebuilding stage.

Now, all they have to do is put on top of this, they do not even need new players, they can keep the core 20 players, and then they could just try again next year, without any new transfers, and can do better. I am sure they won't do none, they will probably get some players, but they do have a great team and they do not need to, so that is a great potential for their future and what they may do soon.

Someone has did his best IMO with this club, every season if he doesn't comes second, he must comes third and don't miss a season without a finish in the top 4 but when are they going to change the game and not be on the same loop over and over. They did well this season, you can see how they didn't lose many matches in their result but they draw too many matches and that hinder there growth from going to top of the table, they did go to the top but the same loop brought them down.

Barcelona and Real Madrid remain the dominant team in Laliga and if you want to win them, you have to have a winning streak all thro out of the season if you want to stay at the top, the moment you decided to play draw and lose game, the more down you go across the table and the less chance you get trying to be the face of Laliga. They did try I must confess on their stats of not losing but the draw matches is too much for a team that want to win Laliga.

Real Madrid has a very good team but Barcelona is much better right now. I think Barcelona is more likely to win in the final they will play. Barcelona have an edge over Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid this season. They've proven countless times to be the very best competitive club in La Liga and always coming out ontop. Barcelona have ranked up to be the favorite to win the UEFA Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey. We might be seeing Hansi Flick packing treble in his first season as manager for the club. We know this is football and nothing is too hard to be done when it comes to these elite clubs.

We can recount how Barcelona started the season with good style and along the line, they staggered but always managed to bounce back on track and enabled consistent stellar performance in matches. Barcelona will strive harder this season to win important titles inother to stay up heighten in the league.

Madrid's weak point lies in the back line, they have conceded 11 goals in their last 4 games in all competitions, including when they were humiliated by Arsenal in the UCL quarter-finals.
If fatigue is the reason for Real Madrid declining performance, they will be in danger of losing the title that could be won in the rest of the season.

Yeah, the Argentine manager has always led the Spanish side to the top-three position, but the club will always fail to improve on last season's success. They have a limited budget and always sell players for profit. Instead of allowing groomed superstars to remain and help the club win trophies, the club usually sells them off for bigger offers.

Barcelona is currently four goals ahead of Real Madrid and seven points over Athletico, with eight more games to be played, meaning that any of them can win the league.

You saw Real Madrid's loss yesterday as a slight setback. For me, it Is a big loss; three goals will not be easy to score in Spain. I know that Arsenal will still go for goals in Spain, which might make it very difficult for the defending Champions to overturn a three-goal deficit.

Real Madrid is still having CDR, UCL and La Liga. They can try to put all of their attention to the how to win La Liga and CDR. However, i really doubting their chance to win at least one trophy. They have been so shaky on the defense, and has become their loopholes.

Losing 3 - 0 agg to the Arsenal is almost impossible to overcome in the second leg. I also have far lowered my expectation to them in the next leg, and predicted they might be facing their biggest lose ever soon. They're bad as a team, and very unbalanced in front and back.

They have often made some magic before, but it's unlikely to happen soon.

Real Madrid are not tired, they often do not play according to their consistency. Their defensive weaknesses are often blamed for this. The poor performance they played in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final with Arsenal was a nightmare for them because they performed fairly well in the first session but failed miserably in the second session. They missed several scoring opportunities in the early stages of the match and had a weak attack but did not score. Arsenal tried their best at every stage and put 11 of their 12 shots on target and were able to mentally upset Real Madrid. Arsenal won a free kick in a tactical manner and Rice used it perfectly and this was one of the reasons for Real Madrid defeat. With the fate of the match already decided scoring the third goal further upset them. Real Madrid goal difference and loss in the first leg will make it much more difficult for them to play in the final at the final stage.

They only bad in this match, Real Madrid can reach to 2rd position even they were bad in the beginning is proving if they already improved. Courtois made many crucial saves in the first half, but the first two goals almost hard to saves, the free kicks is really on point.

It's rare to see Arteta not sign wrong player, Rice is really worth for such amount.

On the other match, Inter pull upsets against Bayern Munich, very surprising results today.

Having 3 goals behind is really hard task, I don't really think Real Madrid will comeback.

It's bad, Madrid are slowly losing form which makes things very difficult for them. Madrid seem to be confused with their current performance and scheme so in the end there is not much that can be done just because they are slowly losing their momentum in the match.

Now it is very difficult for Madrid because although the opportunity is still there but it cannot be denied that for now Madrid is slowly slumping and if this continues then I will not be too surprised if Madrid lose their chance in the race for the trophy, not only in the Champions League but also for La Liga and Copa del Rey.

I didn't really expect anything like this but in the end we can see that for now the only thing that can save them is a change in scheme and performance. If Ancelotti can't do this then they will have to say goodbye to the trophies.

In that match, Real Madrid played below what I expected. And Real Madrid's defeat in that match was actually not that surprising because Real Madrid had not played well in the last few matches. So I'm not surprised they played poorly in the UCL too. But the problem is that conceding 3 goals without being able to get even 1 goal back is indeed the worst for this team. Because it is clear that it will be difficult for Real Madrid to turn things around in the second leg. being left behind by an aggregate of 3 goals really requires a miracle to be able to turn it around again. And Arsenal could even score another goal in the second leg.

Arsenal in that match really played beyond expectations. Successfully scoring 3 goals against Real Madrid can be said to be a truly extraordinary achievement. And I like the way Declan Rice scores goals.

I said earlier like Ancelotti already stated his intention to stay at Real Madrid for longer years. However it seems like it won't be up to him much.  

They are quite likely to finish the season with only the UEFA Super Cup trophy. Arsenal are about to destroy them in the Champions League. Barcelona are to do the same in the La Liga and Copa del Rey...  If he gets sacked then I would expect him to take the Brazil job. He has already been rumoured with it quite much. Especially after the recent results I think that likelihood is getting stronger.

I don't think Atletico Madrid will sack Simeone unless he wants to leave. It hasn't been much time since they signed a new contract with him. This shows they are satisfied with his management. He is in his 14th year there man, wow!

It's not certain that Real Madrid will lose trophies in all competitions this season because there is still hope that they can achieve it if in the remaining matches they can rise to get out of the slump. No one can be sure before that happens and if we look at how they can rise maybe this is not impossible to happen again. Atletico Madrid really have to find a new coach because maybe Simeone is no longer the best and if Atletico Madrid doesn't do that then next season will be the same as now.

In the closing battle of the week, Leganes faced Osasuna at home.The first half of the match ended goalless, but in the second half both teams scored a goal each and the match ended in a draw.The home side of course need the points more.They are right in the relegation zone and they want to close the points gap with their rivals. With this draw, unfortunately they couldn't close the 2-point gap with Alaves.They will be in a fierce race to stay in the league in the last 8 weeks.Osasuna should be happy to get a point from their opponent.They increased the points difference with their closest rival to 7.

There was nothing interesting about the match even though we know Leganes are still trying to get out of the relegation zone but there is nothing to rely on from Leganes after their poor record in the last few games so a draw is a good achievement. On the other hand, Osasuna is actually slightly safe from relegation so if they lose, it doesn't have much impact on the standings luckily they still got one point. At the end of the season we are still waiting to see how Leganes will get out of this situation will they end this season or will we see a fight to the bitter end, moreover they are only 2-4 points behind their competitors.
