I have never doubted Ancelotti's ability as a great coach, his collection of 5 UCL titles confirms his position which may be difficult for other coaches to match. It must be admitted, his failure in the UCL has greatly affected his position, especially since Real Madrid is currently 4 points behind Barcelona.

Sure there are still few games left before the end of the season which is about 7 games left but when you check the fixtures of Real Madrid and Barcelona you will see that Real Madrid will face more tough opponents than Barcelona, apart from the El Clasico, Real Madrid will face Athletic Bilbao and Getafe which are fairly strong opponents so you can see that the chances of winning the La Liga is still pointing in the directions of Barcelona regardless that the Champions League games will also stress them a little but they will surely be determined to win the La Liga since winning the Champions League might be more difficult than the La Liga. Real Madrid can only try to win the Copa Del Rey because that is the only trophy that can be within their reach.
