Barcelona have Ter Stegen and Szczesny, they both are more than enough. They also have an amateur one which is Inaki Pena, he should be the future goalkeeper.

Rumor has it that Flick does not want a change for goalkeepers. But Barcelona management is reportedly interested in Joan Garcia to become Barcelona's goalkeeper. Don't know what really happened.

I don't see in what stats he looked unreliable striker for you. His injury prone may be your concern. However, as long as he won't be injury, he's a good striker despite his age.

And I'm sure if Lewandowski doesn't get injured this season then the top scorer will be his this season. Unfortunately he was injured so he missed several matches and after recovering he rarely played considering his condition had not fully recovered at that time. So Mbappe slowly caught up with the score and in the end managed to catch up with Lewandowski.

But if his condition is still reliable, I'm sure he can get an extension for one more season. Elche and Levante have been promoted directly to La Liga. They ended up in 1st and 2nd place. Meanwhile Real Oviedo, Mirandes, Racing Santander and Almeria had to play off. The play off matches begin on June 8 and the final leg 2 on June 22. So the 1st team promotion team is still waiting for the play off results.  Elche and Levante do have experience playing in La Liga.  They were relegated in 2022/2023 while Levante in 2021/2022 they were relegated.  I hope the promoted team will also be able to compete.

Most probably yes. He has been absence due to injury for three times. It cost him more than a month to recover in total, and we can assume how many goals he could score for a few games missed. He could score at very least five goals with 1.25 average goals performance(4 games assumption in a month) and surpassed Mbappe if he was no injured.

I think he is finished in Barcelona terms. The best thing Barcelona can do is to sell him off for some good amount of money especially to any Saudi Arabia club that comes around and then use that money to buy a younger and promising attacker

Lewandowski has been way more injury prone lately, and I don't think anything will change next season. Age is finally catching up with him to an extent that Raphinha has been the one pulling the strings towards the end of the season.

Teams are now small companies and cannot afford to make commercial or economic mistakes.
They have Yamal now and so having two important strikers is just a risk. Better to lighten the budget by selling Robert Lewandowski, even if he was very useful.

Selling him was a good decision because the proceeds from the sale can be used to bring in other players that the coach needs. Being old and often injured no longer makes him a productive striker so Barcelona can use the sale of Lewandowski to increase the depth of the squad. Raphinha has started to show his best qualities this season and he is much better for his age and can probably do even better next season.

But Lewandowski still has a contract and he has made it clear that he will stay at Barcelona because he still has the desire to play and bring trophies to the team. Lewandowski has scored 42 goals in 52 games this season and this is an incredible statistic for him.

It's certainly a logical decision, but it doesn't seem like the right decision to me. Giving away a player who has given so much seems really ungrateful to me, just because he has become big and risks many injuries.
The regret is that he almost won the Golden Ball, he would have deserved it even if he were Benzema.

Agree with your opinion, not matter how old of Robert Lewandowski but his performance keep consistent during this season success scoring 27 goals of 34 matches in La Liga. I think goal ratio comparison with his appearance still on the top performance and Barcelona really need him for next season without must sack from regular position. Robert Lewandowski performed quite well in this season how his contribution helped Barcelona winning La Liga and Copa del Rey trophies, but Barcelona still need new striker for back up Lewandowski position if getting injury.

So far, Barcelona still not discussing about new signing for striker position but have rumor Hansi Flick looking for new goals keeper with possibility Ster Teegan will leave Barcelona for next season.

You are certainly right that if Robert Lewandowski had not been injured, he could have been the top scorer in La Liga this season. However it seems that the Barcelona manager is now most focused on a left winger and a very talented goalkeeper, so they may be looking to buy more players. Barcelona Football Club was progressing brilliantly in all aspects this season but they were defeated by an Italian club in the semi-final match of the UEFA Champions League, I think in that match they were able to feel that they needed a left winger. Even then it is correct that they may not be looking for another player to replace Lewandowski yet.

Lewandowski can still get you those goals, if you look at the stats of those goals it was scored so early in the season when he was top of his game but then towards the second half of the season he started switching off which even made Barcelona to throw away an eight points gap then and dropped from the table. In the second half of the season they had him all out, throughout Lewandowski’s career he hasn’t been absent like this. So at such an old age if he starts having injury problems then there is concern about looking for a replacement right before it gets worse.

Luckily for Barcelona last season Ferran Torres picked up big form but still he is not someone they can rely on like they do to Lewandowski. And for a Barcelona team that are currently building a team it will be bad to build it around a person like Lewandowski, so the idea is actually to get a new striker now and then allow Lewandowski leave probably after the World Cup in 2026

Why are you surprised? Lewandowski is an elite player and the types of things he does in terms of still banging goals shouldn't make you be surprised because his been doing this. Ronaldo is 40 years old already and his been the top scorer in the Saudi for two consecutive seasons and the funny thing is that he's competing against younger players, frankly, I'm not surprised that his doing such because there's this peculiar thing about all these old players that are elite. They are like wine which gets sweeter when it's old and that's what's happening with these particular players.

This makes sense. Barcelona this season has been very productive in scoring goals because they have creative midfielders and wingers, making it easy for Lewandowski to score goals. But unfortunately he was injured so he had to miss several matches, if only he had not been absent, he could have become the top scorer in La Liga considering Barcelona's game this season was very impressive, even in the last match Lewandowski managed to score two goals even though he had just recovered from injury. But still, scoring 6 goals in one match is impossible. So Mbappe is the one who finally became the top scorer in La Liga.

You are right that Barca have no problems with their attack. Last season they were very aggressive and the attack was great. Even the strikers were able to score goals and there was no problem with the attack. They could focus more on the bottom than the top. Their attack and midfield are still very strong and can compete with any team. However, their defence and goalkeeper seem a bit weak. They could look for alternatives in this area and sign some new players. Maybe it would be better for them to sign a goal machine like Mbappe, Julian Alvarez or Haaland. Barcelona have a very strong playmaker, but the goal machine is still behind other teams. I think this will make Barcelona a much stronger team.

it's true that even though lewandowski can still be relied on by barcelona to be their main striker next season, but they need to find a replacement for lewandowski because even though he is still good, he is old and at any time he can get injured or his performance decreases which will be difficult for barcelona because they don't have a suitable replacement in the striker position to replace lewandowski. the option of recruiting young players is quite reasonable, given that barcelona can train these young talents to develop at their club. but taking new players who are not young also makes sense too. the point is how barcelona can find a replacement for lewandowski as soon as possible so that they don't lose their best performance in la liga.

This year Barcelona should make a transfer instead of Lewandowski. Because it is unknown whether Lewandowski will perform as well this year. They can consider a good and young striker instead. Also, after Lewandowski leaves the team, this gap will be automatically filled. Robert Lewandowski did his best for Barcelona and he was really good this year. I really wonder who he will be with in the forward area next year. His partner will probably be transferred in the summer season this year.
