It was a bad combination of top players, with internal politics between them, and for sure having those guys on the same team won't give any positive results since all of them are star players with nothing new to prove to fans other than just fighting for their personal interests, it better if PSG have use such huge allocations their use for those players to get in young and energetic players that can deliver what the club want and not what pleases themselves as player's.

A team is what makes a player better. Even when they say a player is good, what makes him better is the teamwork, because without teamwork, there is no way he will do what he’s doing by himself. So I think all this is because of how a team’s performance looks. That is what even makes a player show how good he is. I agree with what you said: regardless of how good a player will be, other players contributions are very important before that player will shine.

As for PSG, right now they have good and strong players that can make things possible for them if they do well, so I think PSG also has a lot of star players currently. You are right, PSG had Messi, Neymar, Ramos, Mbappe, and many big players in the same team and couldn’t win the Champions League just because there is no adequate teamwork, but this season, they are without a single notable world class player and they win the Champions League because they have good teamwork. I am impressed with their performance in the Champions League even though I was not happy when they eliminated Arsenal because I am an Arsenal fan, but I appreciate they way Luis Enrique coached the team to attain this greater night.

However, on this FIFA club World Cup, they really wants to win the title because they won the Champions League ahead of many big teams in Europe; but their performance in their last match wasn’t convincing enough because South American teams are playing really well to show their talent since European teams are looking down on them.

PSG needs to step up in this tournament because it is not that easy as they are expecting and all other European teams need to be serious because these other teams aren’t here for joke.

As far as I know, Diego Simeone has only won 2 La Liga titles during his time as Atletico Madrid coach and he won them in the 2013-2014 and 2020-2021 seasons. Nico Williams contributes more things to his team than only goals and assists with his speed. He can create many chaos against defense system of opponents and open more space and chance of better attacking operations for his teammates. It's clearly that in stats, Nico Williams did not score many goals and assists and his stats are worst in comparisons with Yamal, Raphinha and Lewandowski.

Even so, Barcelona knows that Lewandowski won't be with them for too many more seasons as he is very old now, and it's hard to find a good striker for replacement of Lewandowski. So if in future, Barcelona struggle to replace Lewandowski, Nico Williams can be a good player for their possible tactical changes to non-striker in their squad operations.

You people think just because Barcelona is adding Nico Williams that they are going to automatically perform much better than last season and the league is going to be a walk over for them? I think not.
Unless if you also think that the other league teams are not going to adapt to the way Hansi Flick's tactics and offside trap works. It's not only Barcelona that is trying to evolve, other teams are doing it too to prepare for what Barcelona and the other big dogs have in store.

I believe next season will be much harder for Barcelona and if they are to win the league, it will be through sweat and blood.

According to FIFA rules only two teams from the same league are allowed to participate in the club world cup competition then I found out and the reason Barcelona could not participate was because their position in the UEFA coefficient table was still below Atletico and the reason was because in the 2021-2024 UCL competition, their performance was not good enough to catch up with Atletico points. If they win in that period they will automatically qualify just like Chelsea and Man City. But there is a good thing because by not playing there the Barcelona players can rest and have plenty of time to prepare for the next season's La Liga competition.

Thanks for the information. Now I understand why.    Otherwise it would be a shame not to see a team like Barcelona there as well. The same goes for the other top teams haven't joined from top European leagues.

But still there is an unfair situation to me honestly. Teams from much lower leagues in other continents can join FIFA Club World Cup easily. But some big teams in Europe can't because of the rule you mentioned. For example Barcelona had a great season the last time anyway.
