The performing club will always come out outshining other elite clubs, it's not called a coincidence but goo fate for these teams. Salzburg was never in competitive race to win Real Madrid so their defeats was expected and accepted by themselves. There's one main thing I've learnt about Real Madrid, they don't take chances when they spot one and make really good use of this opportunity. This club world cup is something else, very unpredictable and only the best leading clubs step forward to achieve their goal.

There are still a few things Xabi needs to work on, but there's still plenty of time to be optimistic that Madrid can regain the momentum to be in a stable state at the start of the season.

Reflecting on the match, we can clearly see that how beautifully Real Madrid played the match. They dominated the whole match and also scored 3 goals. So I think Xabi Alonso is still trying to utilize his player in the right spot. In this match he implements such good tactics, and from all above this the players understanding and chemistry in this match is outrageous.

However, he will take some time to reunite his team because still there is a lot of problems in the team sheet. Like, the team is still lacking with a good passer and also needs good defenders. Your analysis is right, both teams are very making good preparation for the next season business, it is very obvious that Realmdrid will give a good fight time although time will tell, we have seen seen xabi playing three man defense in the ongoing club world cup but let see if this pattern of xabi can be sustained and keep yielding good friut for the club, personally I will want to experience a tough battle for the league next, not only from both teams but other clubs that will be contending for the league title next season, although we know that Barcelona and Realmdrid are the teams to look up to in that league, Athletico Madrid would've been one of them but they behave like arsenal of England sometimes.

Change is needed in every competition but I think Barcelona doesn't need to make changes for now because I think their squad is perfect enough to compete next season, Hansi Flick just needs to maintain what he did last season, but maybe the small shortcomings that need to be fixed are on the defense side because even though their defense is not bad sometimes the players like to make mistakes that result in defeat.

How do you look at the Barcelona squad and say it's perfect? An injury to Balde last season was the reason they got knocked out of the Champions League, because Balde acts as their LB and LW. Raphinha plays more of a central role, so he's not a LW. That means they really need to fill that position, and that is why they made Nico a priority.

Also in defence, they need a RB, because as good as Kounde is on the right, that's not his natural position and he can't join the attack well. They need a natural RB, if possible, a RB who can also play as a LB so he can be a backup for Balde.
If it were up to me, they should go for a striker too because Lewandoski is old. He scored a lot of goals last season, but he also has a lot of weaknesses and as he's getting older, I feel he might be worst next season, but that nit a priority.

I read tat Barcelona wants to pay the release clause on the 31st of this month. I think it has something to do with their financial year or whatever. As long as Nico has agreed to join Barcelona, there is nothing Bilbao can do to stop the deal because Barcelona will simply pay the release cluasue and take the player.

With the incoming of Franco Mastantuono,  Xabi Alonso's plans for Arda Guler, Endrick,  Vinicius and Kylian Mbappe. I had it in mind they need to create options for the youngins promoted too. If I was to be part of his decision making team, I will chose a move to Arsenal over clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle. Yes, it was an easy match. Everyone also knows that Real Madrid should be the leaders of Group H, only grouped with Al-Hilal, Salzburg & Pachuca. The real challenge for Real Madrid is in the knockout round, in the Round of 16 they will meet Juventus, then if they qualify, most likely in the Round of 8 (quater final) they will meet Borussia Dortmund, not only that, in the Round of 4 (semifinal) they also have the potential to meet PSG or Bayern Munich. After Real Madrid managed to overcome all those challenges, I think Xabi Alonso can be said to be a worthy manager.

Real Madrid is the richest club in the world and they can never have any financial issues. If Real Madrid wants to sell Rodrigo, it means that they don't want him anymore. I don't think that Madrid is planning on selling Rodrigo because Rodrigo doesn't have plans to leave the club.
