Barcelona's win is not much of a surprise but I didn't expect them to be as dominant.
Mallorca was a decent team last season and ended in the top half of the table, but today they almost didn't exist, despite playing at home.

The season has only just begun, but we can already see that the last season's success was not a coincidence and that Hansi Flick continues doing an amazing job with the team.

The match was quite good all the players dominated so well, especially the attacking players like Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Yamal Jamal although the team was feeling the lack of a poacher (Lewandowski),  but still they performed super dominantly, and this match clearly indicates to us that Barcelona is strongly ready to start their season with a pretty awesome performance.

Apart from this, let me tell you something interesting. After the match, Hansi Flick told to the media that he is not happy with the team performance. He is demanding more better performance, like he said, it is only 50% we need a 100% progress. Honestly this guy is crazy..... Team play is super dominant, but still he asking for more  and I think this is the reason why he makes the Barcelona team so perfect.

Raphinha and Yamal picked up right where they left off. Watching Yamal in Barcelona after Messi is an incredible joy. When Mallorca went down to nine men, Barca slowed the tempo way down. They probably don't even put in that little effort during training. Yamal finished the game with his signature goal at the end of the stoppage time. It was a great start for Barca.

It's not worth looking that these statistics and then draw conclusions about how good Barcelona is. No team no matter how good they are and whether it is Mallorca or Real Madrid, could have good statistics against Barcelona when after 39 minutes into the game they are playing with only nine remaining players.

The Mallorca players started the game with an aggressive spirit I don't know what else to classify their attitude cause it's their first league game for the season and they started with two red card it's surely going to affect their coming games cause it's difficult to survive without the key starters for a team like Mallorca. No one should praise Barcelona for defeating them because truly even if it was the Barcelona team that was reduced to 9 players in the first 45 minutes of the game it will have a very bad energy on the players so no one should praise Barcelona yet until they repeat the performance against a complete team.

I guess that is how you are supposed to start a game against Barcelona. But of course they must have been too aggressive or otherwise they wouldn't lose two players so quickly in the process. I didn't see the scenes of those red cards and can't tell whether the referee was too rough himself with his decisions, but no matter how that enfolded, losing two players is not acceptable. After the first red card I think that is when everyone should realize at the latest that this referee is going to be serious about fouls that are no more acceptable and deserve a card.

Yeah, obviously these two have capped such nice displays, especially Yamal Jamal, who was too good. He is the guy after Messi who has the capacity to lead the team into great things. I really appreciate his performance, and honestly, in the future, he can take the leadership of his team just like Lionel Messi. But anyway, let's talk about team performance. Below you can see that all of Barcelona player play so well, like everyone has contributed to the team victory.

Next they will be face to Leventa on 23th Against and I know this match will also be easy for Barcelona because Barcelona has strong defensive tactics and also has strong team play. So I hope this season Barcelona can also grab their next trophy of league titles.

Perhaps he wanted something like 6 goals against Mallorca and not just 3, one of which came in the dying minutes of the game. There's nothing like him being crazy. It's good when a coach demands more from the players and there is no room for relaxations. This probably explains why the did well last season despite fall several points behind Real Madrid at first. Those very early points into the season will matter so much towards the end.

However, overall, scoring three goals was more than enough to secure three points in the opening match, reaffirming Barcelona ambition to defend their trophy this season. Even without Lewandowski, Barcelona frontline remained sharp, and they won the game very comfortably today.

Rashford still seems to need a little time to adapt and build chemistry with the other players. I think, over time, he will be able to find his best form again. As for me, the was the most crucial game of Saturday 16tj August. Levante has shown how ready they are for the season with the performance they pulled up against Slaves. Even though Alaves were better options and through got a late winner but I can say that levante was not very bad even though Alaves had a total control over the game but they were defensive and they could have conceded more than just two goals.

Another intriguing thing about this game was that it witnessed only one yellow card in all which was received by the Levante side and I can say it's one of the most disciplined games I've watched recently. Alaves pulled the trigger at the stoppage time to claim all the 3 points which justified the effort they have put in.

I didn't watch the Mallorca vs. Barcelona match, so I don't know the offense Mallorca committed against Barcelona that made the referee give Mallorca two red cards in the first half, but from the pictures I saw on the internet, I think Mallorca deserves the two red cards that were given to them. I know since Mallorca was reduced to 9 players on the football pitch, it was easy for Barcelona to beat Mallorca, but that shouldn't stop you from praising Barcelona because there are clubs that would fail to beat Mallorca even though they were reduced to 9 players on the football pitch.

Looked at Bilbao's last five games and they have been lost sometimes by big scores... Of course a lot of matches were against top clubs, but Racing and PSV also managed to beat Bilbao, who have changed coach and will be playing without several key players... Sevilla as been bad for the last few seasons, so they didn't change anything over the summer... But I think that today Sevilla will be able to score a goal, bookmakers give a juicy odds of 1.85...

Barcelona will be ready, plus they did not play in CWC neither as far as I remember, which means that many of their players rested very well, or they should have. Because everyone in other clubs played through the summer as well, which was tiring, look at Real Madrid, they didn't even had any proper improvement so far, and that is why it's quite important. I do not believe this is going to be a big dela, and I am sure that Barcelona will easily beat Mallorca.

This feels like an over 2.5 game. I do not know if they will be that dominant right out the gate, because if this was week 10, then I would be sure about over 2.5 but this may not be. So I am going to do 1.5 over and Barca win for this one and I am sure they can do that much.

In my own opinion, raphinha is the player with the biggest goal threat in this Barcelona side, so anyone that is saying or thinking that he should be relegated to the bench for any other footballing reasons don't even know what he is saying. Yes it's true that yamal is a very good player no doubt, but he doesn't carries the same goal threat as raphinha .

As for Marcos Rashford, it's very clear that he will not be a regular starter for this Barcelona side because he hasn't done enough to prove that he deserves a starting role in this Barcelona team, I honestly thought that he might have improved by now considering the quality players he is playing with presently, but am really disappointed because he is still playing rubbish like the final season of his Manchester united days, so he is gradually putting on a seat belt in this Barcelona team as you said.🤣🤣

Mallorca was truly unlucky, facing the team that won last season. So, it wasn't surprising to me that Mallorca was defeated by Barcelona. The squads were vastly different from those of Barcelona. Yes, it's true that Barcelona's victory is indeed a good start and of course in the upcoming matches, Barcelona will have great potential to perform better and of course if the performance of Barcelona's players is always fit, of course there is certainly the potential for Barcelona to win the trophy again. There could be reasons while Hansi Flick told the media that he not happy with the team performance maybe he was expecting Barcelona to have scored more goals since the game was 9 men against 11 after Barcelona scored two goals in the first half Mallorca also had 2 red card in that same first half so he might be expecting the team to at least score 4 to 3 more goals in the second half. Hansi Flick should be happy his team won yesterday the most important thing is that Barcelona won they now have 3 goals and 3 points i think this is a good start for Barcelona.

Rashford was recruited as a backup to maintain team stability in case of problems with the main players. I never thought Rashford would be able to secure a starting spot, as we can see that Rapihna's quality is far superior to Rashford's.
Barcelona won easily in the first week, even though they didn't play too aggressively. After taking control of the game, Barcelona actually slowed down the tempo, which I think is quite reasonable.

That's an easy win for Barcelona, like on a serious note I don't think this underdogs team will be a problem for Barcelona, so this win was expected despite the red cards, I know Barcelona would win the game, the big deal is when they start facing some tough opponents that's where we will decide their Faith and who will win the league, but I really think it's not gonna be an easy one for them this season as real Madrid will not like to go trophyless this season again, so I believe xavi Alonso's goal should be the champions League and the Spanish LA Liga, so Barcelona should watch their back because the task ahead is very tough.

I don’t think there was anything special about this game, it’s a game that Barcelona were expected to win on paper and on field, it’s was a very disappointing game to me as a neutral who wants to watch an exciting game, because the opposition had nothing offer in the game, Lamine Yamal seems to be very clinical and it was a good performance from him and a good game for Barcelona all together. Yamal will be the leader of the team and the best performer in the Barcelona team, it’s already obvious he will be the future of the team for a very very long time.

I will have to see this Barcelona team face a stronger opposition so I can be able to see a more interesting football game that wouldn’t just be a one sided game, well congratulations to Barcelona for starting the season on a strong foot I will be anticipating the next game.
