You are right, there is always Real Madrid who can do something special to win the title but you'd agree with me when I say this that this current Madrid we are seeing doesn't have that ability to do anything impossible or surprising, they lost it all with how they play, it seems like they need someone different in that squad that can make them play as a unit by creating chances from the beginning of any game to the end. Last night you could see how poor they were, nothing special, no force to make defenders fall back so how can they match the likes of Barcelona, ATM and some other stronger clubs in la Liga this season? Before, the Real Madrid we have known were doing very great from the start till the end of the season, but since last season, to be sincere, the Real Madrid squad is not in good condition, and they have to solve that issue. I know many of us here might misunderstood me but don't we think that this match might have a lot of things to reveal on xabi side, I know that it is too early to conclude things, since that's the case I want wmat this to lie low first to be discussed in the coming days, Osasuna tried their best but it wouldve atleast ended on a draw that would've been better for them although losing with a penalty makes me believe that they prepared for the match, criticism is part of football and for a team to improve and know that the fans are very expectant, Realmdrid will have to do more, there game pattern hasn't really changed but let hope that in the coming days, they will perform as we expect.

It might be said to be too early to conclude on any team's performance in this first game of the season but in as much as we want to avoid quick conclusion it's also important to raise certain things we may have observed about Madrid during the game. In fact, last season, Real Madrid also played very well. However, last season, the team was unlucky because many of their defenders were injured, leaving Real Madrid with many gaps in defense. But this season, I believe Real Madrid has improved their back line. So, Real Madrid now just needs to be sharper up front.

Mbappé will certainly be more confident this season. Last season, he was La Liga's top scorer. And I'm sure he'll do the same this season. With more confidence, he might even score more goals than last season.

I'm not sure if it's fair to say that Osasuna was purely focused on defense. Even after conceding the goal, they couldn't do much and posed no threat to Real.
A minimum win but it's still a win. Real looked a bit sluggish but they didn't have their usual resting/preparation period. They only played one friendly after the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals and jumped straight into the league season.
Still, the stats are massively in their favour, with 71% and 18 shots on goal (5 on target). The new sign-ups did quite alright as well, especially the defenders. Osasuna only made 2 shots on goal, none on target.

But, quite frankly, I don't see how this team could stop Barcelona from winning the league again. I just don't think this squad is good enough.

That is the only bit left over from that game, it was a win. It is no more than that, it was one of the worst Real Madrid games they could imagine for a first game at home. There next games won't be too hard, which gives them some time to improve upon their shortcomings from the first game.

I looked at the La Liga schedule and found that Barcelona has to play three games on the road. That is not normal, but good for them if they win them all and then can look forward to many games in their home stadium.

Dissapointing start by the vas mayority of the big teams from this league, Real Madrid yesterday was not all the good we were expecting and need a penalty to win in their home against a weak Osasuna.

Barcelona have a super easy game after Mallorca players were showed the red card, and they doesnt do so much.

And Atletico Madrid, lose against the super weak Espanyol.

Yup Realmadrid had  to win by penalty but their performance wasn’t something to consider a flop.. Arthletico on the other hand had a good struggle but lost still not a bad performance either .
Lastly, Barcelona didn’t had it easy only when the red card showed up, they were already leading with 2 goals to nil before the red card, they were already red card was suppose to make it super easy But Barcelona slow down and relaxed the attacking until the very last minutes..

It is true that Real Madrid played well and won on penalties. On the other hand, Atletico Madrid played very well despite losing. Winning or losing is part of the game. Barcelona was far ahead of the opposing team from the start of the game. Yes, I agree with you. Because basically, Real Madrid is also a team filled with ordinary people who certainly have weaknesses and will not always be able to perform well. Because in the world of football, it is normal for a big team to experience a decline in performance, for example, Manchester United, Manchester City, and also Milan. These three teams are big teams, but in the previous season, all three teams were in a less than ideal phase, because their performance decreased. So with that in mind, everything that is happening to Real Madrid now is quite normal.

The game was good, but there were still some finishing issues, and we saw how Real Madrid struggled to create scoring opportunities.
Barcelona also managed to win the match with a very promising scoreline in their first match, which shows how prepared they are for the competition, as they always play better to achieve victory.
What was surprising was that Atletico Madrid lost against Espanyol, even though they should have won that match.

Osasuna is tough team and they are showing that they are good challenger top clubs in La Liga. Penalty on Mbappe was major moment and it is fair to wonder if Real Madrid would have scored without it. It was close game that showed just they are playing really good.

Ossasuna is not really "that" great, yeah this game looked close but it is not really that close and this was looking close for one reason because Real Madrid missed many chances. If half of the easy chances converted, the game would have been 5-0. Not saying all their shots, literally just half of their chances.

In any case, I think it's close to what we are facing right now and that is why I think Ossasuna could be just a midtable team and nothing more. That isn't bad though, I mean they should be happy because they are spending midtable team money to players and everyone, so they end up where they deserve. Being worse than what you deserve is a worse situation, so being where they deserve is actually good in football world because you get what you expected.

I don't think one match can be used as a reference to represent their strength and performance, especially since they are still in the process of adapting due as their squad has undergone a lot of changes this season (new players, new coaches, and different strategies). Real Madrid may not have looked impressive when they could only manage a 1-0 win against Osasuna, but what was quite surprising was the changes in their back line, which now looks solid and has significant improvements.

Can't wait to see what Real Madrid will look like in their second match, and maybe from this match, we can see whether Real Madrid really has the potential to be even better or will just be stuck there.
