Well, I hope Real Madrid can show a better performance in their next matches. And indeed, Osasuna is not a team to be underestimated. In fact, their goal in that match was probably to get a draw by not allowing their opponents to score. It's even possible that Osasuna didn't prioritize attacking, just wanted to defend and get a draw. But fortunately, Real Madrid managed to win that match, even if only on a penalty kick. And I think Mbappé is now starting to find his confidence when it comes to penalties. Last season, we knew he seemed to lose confidence in taking penalties, which led to frequent misses. Real Madrid played very well against Ousasuna but they were just unfortunate to score more goals in that match even though Ousasuna defense was strong Real Madrid I knew before will still break through and score as many goals as possible but they have reduced form now but I believe this season they will do better than last season. Although it was a nice result for Ousasuna because they already know themselves that they can not stand Real Madrid that is why they defend with there life. Mbbape has already build confident since last season and I believe he will do great this season with the help of Vini, Bellingham and the rest.

Yes, Osasuna really focused solely on defense in that match, making it difficult for Real Madrid to penetrate their defense. But Real Madrid can certainly improve this season compared to last. In fact, last season, Real Madrid also played very well. However, last season, the team was unlucky because many of their defenders were injured, leaving Real Madrid with many gaps in defense. But this season, I believe Real Madrid has improved their back line. So, Real Madrid now just needs to be sharper up front.

Mbappé will certainly be more confident this season. Last season, he was La Liga's top scorer. And I'm sure he'll do the same this season. With more confidence, he might even score more goals than last season.

Interestingly, both players are no longer playing in Europe, but people still debate who is the best between the two, CR7 and LM10. It's hard to forget that CR7 is synonymous with Real Madrid. He was one of the players who contributed to Real Madrid's success, just as LM10 was able to lead Barcelona to the pinnacle of glory and achieve even more.

It's natural for Rashford to say that CR7 was the best when he was at Manchester United, because CR7 was indeed one of the best players Manchester United ever had, and Rashford played alongside the superstar. I'm not sure if it's fair to say that Osasuna was purely focused on defense. Even after conceding the goal, they couldn't do much and posed no threat to Real.
A minimum win but it's still a win. Real looked a bit sluggish but they didn't have their usual resting/preparation period. They only played one friendly after the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals and jumped straight into the league season.
Still, the stats are massively in their favour, with 71% and 18 shots on goal (5 on target). The new sign-ups did quite alright as well, especially the defenders. Osasuna only made 2 shots on goal, none on target.

But, quite frankly, I don't see how this team could stop Barcelona from winning the league again. I just don't think this squad is good enough.

That is the only bit left over from that game, it was a win. It is no more than that, it was one of the worst Real Madrid games they could imagine for a first game at home. There next games won't be too hard, which gives them some time to improve upon their shortcomings from the first game.

I looked at the La Liga schedule and found that Barcelona has to play three games on the road. That is not normal, but good for them if they win them all and then can look forward to many games in their home stadium.

Dissapointing start by the vas mayority of the big teams from this league, Real Madrid yesterday was not all the good we were expecting and need a penalty to win in their home against a weak Osasuna.

Barcelona have a super easy game after Mallorca players were showed the red card, and they doesnt do so much.

And Atletico Madrid, lose against the super weak Espanyol.

Yup Realmadrid had  to win by penalty but their performance wasn’t something to consider a flop.. Arthletico on the other hand had a good struggle but lost still not a bad performance either .
Lastly, Barcelona didn’t had it easy only when the red card showed up, they were already leading with 2 goals to nil before the red card, they were already red card was suppose to make it super easy But Barcelona slow down and relaxed the attacking until the very last minutes..
Just the beginning, every team is super active  but only the tough ones will make it far once again.. until then , let’s just relax and enjoy the show

It is true that Real Madrid played well and won on penalties. On the other hand, Atletico Madrid played very well despite losing. Winning or losing is part of the game. Barcelona was far ahead of the opposing team from the start of the game. Yes, I agree with you. Because basically, Real Madrid is also a team filled with ordinary people who certainly have weaknesses and will not always be able to perform well. Because in the world of football, it is normal for a big team to experience a decline in performance, for example, Manchester United, Manchester City, and also Milan. These three teams are big teams, but in the previous season, all three teams were in a less than ideal phase, because their performance decreased. So with that in mind, everything that is happening to Real Madrid now is quite normal.

But it cannot be denied that its fans definitely continue to want Real Madrid to perform well every season. Because basically, Real Madrid rarely experiences a decline in performance like now. The game was good, but there were still some finishing issues, and we saw how Real Madrid struggled to create scoring opportunities.
Barcelona also managed to win the match with a very promising scoreline in their first match, which shows how prepared they are for the competition, as they always play better to achieve victory.
What was surprising was that Atletico Madrid lost against Espanyol, even though they should have won that match.

I don't think one match can be used as a reference to represent their strength and performance, especially since they are still in the process of adapting due as their squad has undergone a lot of changes this season (new players, new coaches, and different strategies). Real Madrid may not have looked impressive when they could only manage a 1-0 win against Osasuna, but what was quite surprising was the changes in their back line, which now looks solid and has significant improvements.

Can't wait to see what Real Madrid will look like in their second match, and maybe from this match, we can see whether Real Madrid really has the potential to be even better or will just be stuck there.

Considering the match statistic, fully sure Osasuna played fully defense when defeating by Real Madrid last week during 90 minutes without have any one shots on goal. Loss ball possession dominance and Osasuna only have 2 shot without any shot on target I think how their game play fully focus for defense without have build counter attack. Just got luckiness behind one goal conceded from penalty kick how Madrid most attractive controlling the games made 18 shots of 5 on shots on target.

If want to win the games, every team must play full offensive and create as many as possibility shots on goals if priority play full defense how to win the game in other side get difficulty for building counter attack. Next games against Valencia and surely if play full defense difficult for Osasuna winning the match exactly playing at home must play offensive if wanna scoring the goals.

That's it. Even a pro football should also adapt in where is he living. If Rashford said Ronaldo is the best when he's in Barcelona, i can't imagine how many hatred he will receive so many hates as we know many of Barcelona fans are Messi die hard. He's just killing his career if he's doing it.

Not only did Real Madrid miss many chances, but their performance was less than impressive, despite Osasuna's defensive strategy. Xabi Alonso should have been able to do more with the players they had, but in reality, Xabi Alonso's strategy was quite monotonous from the start.

However, Osasuna can't be judged on anything. It was a first-week match, and we can't judge a team's strength just from their first match. Although Osasuna are a mid-table team overall, as was evident last season, we also have to realistically assess their strength compared to Real Madrid, and the difference is vast.
