I think people thought so cos of the Champions League game he was benched, we don’t know for whatever reason Xabi Alonso chose that, but tonight he’s on the scoresheet. He’s Madrid main man and LaLiga Top scorer, with the way he’s going he’ll still win the pichichi even if Madrid doesn’t win a trophy.
From their last game seems Xabi Alonso is prioritising the league to Champions League cos why bench your best player on such an important game.

Kylian Mbappe was indeed injured before the game and that's why he wasn't involved in Manchester City game even though he was there. His injuries aren't serious, he has a finger problem and muscular injury. Although it appears that he didn't train with the team but Xabi Alonso put him in the squad and he scored a goal. Xabi knows very well that his job in Real Madrid is at risk. The team will not tolerate more points losses.

I bet this match will be surprising for us, in a way where we can say that it’s finished for Real Madrid and Xavi or it will be the beginning of something different. Without forgetting the amount of injuries with Madrid’s side.

The game has kicked off and Madrid are now 1 goal up thanks to Mbappe who scored the opening goal of the game.
The situation is still a good one despite the doubts we have as we can see some players in the line-up and some Castilla players in the reserves due to injuries and accumulated cards.

Their left-back is missing as Mendi is still injured, Fran Garcia and Carreras were also red-carded at the same time which gives Valdepenas a chance here.
But he's been good so far and this could be a good thing for some of the younger players who do get a chance to play for the senior club as it could give them more game time.
I'm quite optimistic about the 3 points now because inevitably they have to get them.

The game is currently 2-1 in favor of Madrid. It would have been better if Madrid can score one more goal to seal up their victory because a goal ahead isn't a sure guarantee of winning the game. Their opponent might come up with a dying minute goal which will put Madrid in a tight corner from getting all three points. Barcelona is four points ahead.

When Kylian Mbappe scored to give Real Madrid the lead in the 24th minute of the game, I thought it was going to be an easy game for Real Madrid and was expecting more goals before the end of the first half but the host team kept them from scoring any further goal till the end of the first. Came into the second half and equalized before Rodrygo scored to give Real Madrid another lead.
The game is currently in the additional time with he scoreline still at 1:2 in favour of the visitors. Hopefully, Real Madrid will be able to win this one.

Huijsen was brought back in to get used to his injury and that's a good thing I think. In attack too Mastantuono was back in contention although the chance for Rodrygo in this game was clearly a costly decision for Xabi as Rodrygo has always repaid the faith with goals in the last few games he's played.
Crucial times are still ahead and Madrid can't afford to lose focus due to Alaves' insistent play because either way if the victory in sight is lost again then the competition's chances are slim.

I knew one way or the other Madrid might fuck even before the game started, and they were leading 1:0 and every one was jubilating that at least Madrid will win this one, I did not trust them at least to be able to win that game and then Alaves equalized,  and now real madrid have scored there second goal, let's see if they will come of this freely because don't be surprised to see Alaves, adding another goal I won't be surprised, and since they still have a few minutes left let's see how Madrid will pull this off in peace.

Really Madrid now has two goals and Alaves has a goal already, the game is already almost at the last minute, most likely it is going  to be a win for Madrid. Real Madrid was not awarded a clear penalty after a foul on Vinicius. It should have been 1-3 that was obviously a foul. There were many refereeing mistakes in this match. They also called offside on Alaves’ goal. Luckily, there is VAR technology.Xabi has proven that he is a good tactician and deserves more respect. The media criticize him unnecessarily, and there is a lot of pressure on him, but he knows how to handle it

Alaves (1) vs (2) Real Madrid Today

I knew Alaves were going to put up more fight, even in the first half they showed some quality and almost got something out of the game but Real Madrid just looked stronger in key moments and managed to get two goals which was enough to win this match especially with Mbappé finding the net early and Rodrygo sealing it later on, and even though Alavés got a goal back it was always going to be difficult for them to hold off Madrid’s attack because when Madrid start scoring and keep their composure at the back then they usually keep that lead until the end but credit to Alavés for never giving up and pushing until the final whistle. This result sees Real Madrid continue on with their league momentum while Alavés can build confidence from scoring against one of the big teams, and if they keep defending well and create chances like they did today then they won’t look out of place against any opponent in La Liga.

Real Madrid in the end barely won this game just by 1 goal. The match was a lot harder and i expected this because when Real Madrid goes away to Alaves its always really hard to beat them. Still a huge boost for Real Madrid and they needed this win badly to keep up with Barcelona,if they dropped points today it would be a huge gap between them and Barcelona but they were able to win this match.

Xabi Alonso making up with a win after losing two games before this and we can see how much it meant to him to win this game with how happy he was,he knew aswell this was an important match.

It is undeniable that this match was quite difficult for Madrid because Alaves also played quite well, it's just that 2 goals from Mbappe and Rodrygo managed to make them get back 3 points and create new momentum.

The trio of Vini, Mbappe and Rodrygo are back and I think we need to give appreciation to these 3 players. Rodrygo was back in the line up and he proved that he can score goals and this was Rodrygo's second goal in 2 consecutive games this season.
Mbappe also added another goal after 1 goal this match making him still comfortable with the top scorer and Vini his selfish nature is slowly disappearing even in this match he volunteered to provide an assist whereas if it happened to Vini before he would immediately look at the goal without paying attention to others.
With 3 points Madrid are still trying to keep Barcelona on a comfortable run.

Not up to Real Madrid's level, but almost.
Real Madrid had more dominance in the first half, hoping to get more goals as soon as possible. This aim  continued into the second half as well, but their dominace drop  as Alaves took it personally in the second half, and that earned them a goal. However, Real Madrid added one more before Alaves could close anything. It was not until after the second goal, which was around 80 minutes, that they (Real Madrid) started dominating once again.

Yes, but at what cost? Wait a day or two, and you should hear he has probably gotten another injury, which will keep him away for two weeks, maybe. The goal he scored came in roughly. You could see the way those legs folded on impact with the ground, yet he still made his way to score a goal. He is an athlete, though, so he might just be fine, but he was subbed off just five minutes after his celebration.

Even if I want to congratulate Real Madrid for winning the game i would also say that they didn't actually do well in the game because this was a narrow escape, if not for the second goal by Rodrigo by now it would have ended 1'1 draw and it would have affected Real Madrid so bad because of the point difference but now, they have maintained the 4 points from Barcelona. If Alaves was a bit stronger, they would win Real Madrid in this game because Real Madrid was possessing Initially while Alaves was looking for opportunity to score and at some point they started possessing Real Madrid.

I don't see much goals in this match because it's still goalless. I don't expect Osasuna to open their defense and leave it porous in the second half for Barcelona to get a breakthrough. Barcelona had a lot of opportunities but they don't have the luck. Ferran goal was canceled for an old offside that wasn't called for. They need luck in the second half for them to break the deadlock.

In the first half Osasuna showed a great defensive line. In the second half, Barcelona did not score a goal even after 55 minutes of the match. But there were some good attacks from their side. Osasuna are trying their best to keep the match goalless, their main goal is to get 1 point from the match or try for full points if they get a chance. But I don't think Osasuna will be able to close the door for long against this strong attacking line. If Barcelona cannot get 3 points from the match, it will be a bit of a loss.

From my observations, I don't think that Osasuna is planning on drawing this gane because they want to bring in attacking substitutes. Osasuna defense is superb from the defenders to the goalie. Look at how Herrera is denying them from getting a goal. Osasuna is playing a defensive game and counter attack. I hope that Barcelona won't fall for their trap.

Barcelona is moving forward with more points in the points table. Barcelona is at the top of the points table after beating Osasuna 2-0. In this way, they are leaving Real Madrid behind day by day. However, as a small team, it took time for Barcelona to break down Osasuna's defense. That's why Barcelona was goalless in the first half. Barcelona scored two goals in the second half. In this way, Barcelona is able to add more points to the points table and at the same time they are putting pressure on Real Madrid.
