I wasn't to believe everyone expected  Barcelona to win the game but I don't think anyone expected the game to end that way me personally I didn't expect that kind of goals from Barcelona because this is their first game of the season and  we would not have tell if they are good or not. The game was really easy for them even though it seems like Elche was possessing at some point but Barcelona later took the possession. With this result I can tell that Barcelona will do well this season.

Yes you're right about Raphina goal being the motivation behind Barcelona aggressive scoring, but why won't Elche lose balance, there are some fight you won't want to further, especially when you've been beaten to stupor, before that match, i already know that Elche can't make it, Barcelona is not in anyway considered as there level, and again that is the starting match of the this season for the two teams, I never for once think otherwise that Barcelona will win them with less goals, the season might be fresh, but of a truth, Realmadrid will not win their first match and Barcelona will lose, if things continue as it is, this season League title might be difficult for a winner to emerge or be decided.

The team has signed a total of 6 new players in the recent transfer window, most of whom are defensive players. If Mourinho continues to use players experimentally, the team will suffer more than it will benefit.

What impressed me about Barcelona in this match was how their new signings easily adapted to the Barcelona style of play. Karim Adeymi played as a striker and delivered with an excellent operformance, which made me ask myself that does Barcelona really need to sign a new striker?

Yeah I know having a senior striker like Julian Alvarez would boost their attack, but if Alvarez deal didn't work out, Hansi is a tactical coach. He can manage these young players Adeymi and Hamza Abdulkarim as his center forwards, in my opinion because these guys are showing promise.

Look at Antony Gordon who came off from the bench, and made two assists within 5 minutes. honestly with the Performance like this from this players, it's obvious that they would do well this season. It surprised me how Real Madrid fans are making unnecessary excuses, saying they couldn't play better against Espayol because of their manager and some of their players were new to the club.

The most important thing in football is winning and Real Madrid won Espanyol 1-2 to get there 3 points, it's not easy to win matches most expecially when you are playing away, though the match almost end in a draw but Real madrid have to score in the 90th minutes to secure a win against Espanyol. If you understand Mourinho playing strategy he is not in for plenty of goals 1 goal and a winis important for him as long as he has his 3 points, so i don't see Real madrid performance as a bad one provided they won and got there 3 points.

It’s sad but Alvarez deserves everything that is being thrown at him. Atletico  Madrid paid crazy fee + salary just to get over to La liga, him asking to be sold cheap tk a direct rival is ridiculous. Real Madrid interest bait made the situation worse.

Definitely there will be a lot of competition in La Liga this season, you have even tried by considering four teams on the top, the most strongest teams in La Liga based on my own analysis are real Madrid and Barcelona, this is usually the reason why I don't consider any team apart from this two teams is because they maintain their consistency in terms of winning the title between two of them.

José Mourinho taking over the Real Madrid side doesn't scare anyone at all. I learned they were busy making new contracts during the transfer window and all that, but one thing was missing--- how composed is the club now with all these new faces because it seems they don't get along too well?? You can choose to believe whatever you want--- including the fact that elite players plus an elite coach can never make a bad team until we begin to see the rougher side of their decision. Let's watch and see him perform the trick again with the current squad.

Barcelona are currently an unstoppable force in the Spanish league. They have won the trophy in the last two seasons and looking at the way they are playing this season, it seems that they will win the trophy this time. When a player doesn't want to stay in a club anymore, you don't force him to stay, you try to convince him to stay and if you can't convince him, then you have to let him go.

The only reason I blame Alvarez is why he signed such a long term deal with a club like Atleti. Why did he even rush to a club like Atleti. he could have taken his time in Man City and he might have moved to PSG or something. He should have know that going to Atleti would mean not winning trophies regurlarly.

Exactly my point, this things happen. The Atletico Madrid Management is not handling this situation very well. During their last game, after the game a Man dressed in suit walked up to Julian Alvarez just as they were about to wave to the fans and ordered him not to join the others..

You can see that the player is not happy with the situation, a picture of him from the bench showed his sadness. One thing Atletico has to understand is this kind of situations don’t get resolved by force or compulsion. The player wouldn’t be their usual self and it’ll greatly affect their performance and to an extent the overall performance of the team.

I think it’s because of the some of the comments by Atletico Madrid on their social media platforms that is adding to their rigid stance of not selling Alvarez not just because of the rivalry.

The beginning of the season sometimes there are some things that we can not make a benchmark including for performance issues so for now competitive will look reasonable because usually it is also like that, but the longer the situation will be more conical and there will only be a few clubs maybe even only 2 clubs (Madrid and Barcelona) will compete until the end.

They need to play better in defense and attack so that they don't face difficult challenges in the next matches but they can win easily.

Honestly,, seeing Real Madrid struggle to win this match has made me even more pessimistic about this team. They only faced Espanyol in this match, and they were already quite overwhelmed. It's really a shame what's happening with Alvarez right now. The problem started because Alvarez himself once said he wanted to leave which is why many fans ended up disappointed with his own statement. 

At first, Alvarez confidently said things like that because Barcelona really wanted him, but it turned out the situation didn't go as he expected. This eventually led to Alvarez current situation, where fans are asking for him to be sold, Simeone is asking for reinforcements in the attack and needs to sell players for that, Barcelona wants him, Alvarez himself also wants to move, but Atletico owner and CEO insist on not selling him.

If you ask who's at fault in the current situation, I think it's Alvarez himself who made things more complicated for him. After the World Cup ended, he made a statement that he wanted to leave Atletico. Every player should actually respect the contracts they sign. Elche were busy playing a high line against Barcelona, like what were they thinking, you don't have a midfield that's going to hold the ball for you and you were playing a high line, funny enough they don't even have the defenders to stop Barcelona, I watched the highlights and I was just laughing, the coach must have been high on some cheap drugs for him to do that, it's even difficult for them to play a low block let alone playing high line. As for the UCL, Barcelona has a long way to go, UCL is not La Liga were the teams there are ill equipped apart from Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid but even these two teams in recent years can't withstand Barcelona in the league. Personally, Barcelona is never winning UCL anytime soon no matter how good they are in the league.
