I wasn't to believe everyone expected  Barcelona to win the game but I don't think anyone expected the game to end that way me personally I didn't expect that kind of goals from Barcelona because this is their first game of the season and  we would not have tell if they are good or not. The game was really easy for them even though it seems like Elche was possessing at some point but Barcelona later took the possession. With this result I can tell that Barcelona will do well this season.

The first goal scored by Raphinha was the deciding goal of that match because you could see that Barcelona became more offensive with their possession after the goal, hence the cause for more goals. Elche at some point got so loose and gave up on the game, they could not fight back for a comeback as more goals began flooding in.

Elche already knew they would lose, but they never thought it'd count up to a huge margin like that. It was more of a training session for Barca than an actual match. The new signings were all part of the early success and I don't think a composed squad like that would easily give up the UCL, let alone the LaLiga.

Barca looks more composed than Real Madrid with the couple of games they've played but I still can't decide who the Champions would be with a couple of matches, also Atletico Madrid has shown quite some impulse with their performance and I think this season would be a lot more competitive than the previous season.

This is exactly what we say all the time at the start of a new season, but imo, being competitive only depends on the collective efforts from these teams, and every individual support counts for it.

Real Madrid and Barcelona they both won their games, while Atletico Madrid ended theirs in 2-2 drew with Villarreal, to me win or draw is no big deal, because it's just a starter and with whatever anyone of them might play can't make me pick the favorite or come to a conclusion if the Spanish La Liga will be competitive this season no I can't really tell, but I'm seriously rooting for Real Madrid to lift the Spanish La Liga trophy this season, and I'm looking forward for that to happen, but for now all I can say is, it's still an open play.

So bringing mourinho is i believe an overkill, still, Barcelona will be a big hurdle in their way.

A good start I saw for Real Madrid against Espanyol, although the defencer line was messy and conceded one goal but fortunately Espi who replaced Jude Bellingham could score an additional goal in this match and became the first goal, from relying on wild balls in Espanyol's defense so that the position became 2-1.

Tonight there will be an Atletico Madrid match against Villarreal and what is expected is one of the favorite teams is Barcelona who will face Elche, I am very curious for the initial match that will be done by Barcelona with new players, I hope not to disappoint.

I am not very impressed with Real Madrid's victory in this match because they won with difficulty which means that the strength of the Real Madrid team is not that good and this first match even though they got 3 points and this should be a big evaluation material for Jose Mourinho because if he doesn't immediately improve to get better then there will be a lot of difficulties that will be faced in the next match especially this season must be a proof for Jose Mourinho because if he doesn't succeed then it is very likely that Real Madrid management will kick him out.

I don't think it will be as fast as it was in the previous season, as long as it has a harmonious relationship with the players and management with match wins that go into the winning average with plus points then Mourinho will be kept at Real Madrid, I see it at Arbeloa who can finish one season with Real Madrid (I say one season because Xabi is only a few blans), don't you see it? moreover, Mourinho's class is good enough experience, unless real madrid's performance is below average which should be, or worse than last season it could be a logical reason to fire mourinho, actually depending on the agreement in the contract and the conversation that is done, the management must provide an overview of the high and low expectations that must be obtained by a squad.

Barcelona went wild during this game because Elche was unable to score a single goal, and it was nice to see Raphinha come back very powerfully because he was active, scoring two goals, and if you want to talk about assists, Gordon did an excellent job, and if you want to compare games, I don't think we should compare Barcelona's game to Real Madrid's game because Barcelona's game is far superior due to the number of goals scored.

I'm only imagining how the game will proceed and what will happen when it finally starts. Everyone is now warming up, and I expect the game to be different from the previous season since I believe there will be more competition this season. And based on what we've seen, I believe the Champions League will be a unique struggle in and of itself, which is exactly what we want to see.

Despite the Catalan giant were absolutely amazing like they spotted a 5 goal even all of their players delivered super great performance especially Raphina.....

However, it's seem that both team are in good shape especially Barcelona like they are but heavier than Real Madrid and obviously this time their aim will also be on league title. For attacking gear they are absolutely amazing despite Real Madrid was still lacking in strength like their defensive approach is bit hazzy. Jose Morhino need to do more work on his defensive spot otherwise they will feel the same lacking as previous season and end result may can be horrible.

Many spactators did not trust Real Madrid due to their poor performance in the last two seasons. Everyone was waiting to see how the players would perform with the new coach in a new strategy. Real Madrid team performance has improved in their first match. Madrid fans are very relieved about this. On the other hand, Barcelona's game was the most exciting. Barcelona started playing aggressively from the beginning. They scored two goals in the first half. Their performance started to improve even more in the second half. If they can maintain this kind of consistency throughout the season, they will be in contention to win the title without a center forward.

The ability of this club to win trophies was base on the ability of managers to handle the players both on the pitch and out, mentally and physically, not to be controlled by players, and that is what has given them those achievements they have earn so far. Right now we don't see that anymore in the club and this is a club that has been winning, and right now it is looking empty to be honest. A club where players have their own right to do what ever thing they want, where they can make their own decisions, to me it is very bad and that is the main reason they have gone 2 seasons without winning anything. Let's hope for some positivity in the club.

How can he when the fans who are suppose to Cher him up are messing him up psychologically? All i know is that,  if he doesn't leave before the transfer window closes entirely,  he's going to experience one of the worse season in his career.  He already said his mind, he doesn't  really need any pity all he can do for now his find a solution.

For now, i  think he should move to a new club like Arsenal or Chelsea, sign  a short term contract for a year and hope for the best. Lesson learned the hard way, Atletico is the least club you should think of singing such a long contract with.

If he doesn't do it, what then? Mourinho should not be rushed into winning the league. He has done this before, and everyone is exerting pressure on the old man to take Real Madrid to glory immediately. With a team that got combined in the summer. Look at Barcelona, they signed a new player without much of a difference to blend into the squad. Real Madrid is not an ordinary club to manage. Mourinho needs more time to do his job at Real Madrid. You are right, Barcelona had the best opening match, they blew elche away, and they also showed us that they didn't come to joke this season from the score line. Raphinha was outstanding yesterday, two goals and an assist, seems like he's well prepared for this season.

Without doubt, Barcelona performed far better than Madrid, though some fans are saying Espanyol is a strong team, but I don't think that should be an excuse, I expected Madrid to win the game easily because they're the strongest team in the league now. Yes Madrid's performance is quit weaker than that of their rival Barcelona but with that win, there chances of success is still sure and certain this season. Statistically,  I will say Madrid improved above expectations in that game and with that its clear there is hope for them to excel this season.
Last season they had a very poor performance and never meet up to expectations which was the only reason they were unable to secure any trophy even when they had the chance to bag a trophy them. As for this season,  i will say they will do perfectly well and most bag a trophy before the end of the season and there is know team capable of stopping them.

What is Alvarez moving to Chelsea for, Joao Pedro is already claiming that spot, he is the guy Chelsea needs, even if Alvarez would be a good option, but the player isn't willing to negotiate his stance on the club he wants to play for, Barcelona has always been his target, going to Arsenal who are likely to be Premier League champions again, won't satisfy his aspiration.

Atlético Madrid should let him go, Atlético are really scared of allowing him to move to Barcelona, and they know him as a big threat. If Alvarez moves to Barcelona, it becomes an edge for Barcelona, while it reduces their hopes of contending for the league title.

The media and the fans are just hyping Jose Mourinho because of his past glory days and that was like 15 to 16 years ago, the way the game is being played now and the kind of fragile mentality todays players posses now!! Has passed his managerial style of iron fist rule, because the players available to him now, don’t respond well to that aggressive tactics of play and the one on one confrontation that he is used to. He was once the coach of the club so he understands perfectly well that if positive results don’t come his way quick enough, then all those his expressive press conference will likely kill any little chemistry within the team and he will probably not get to the next season still coaching the club. He should accept the fact that this current squad is not built for his system.

There is no doubt that Jose Morhino is best coach with a lot of capacity but to be honest his recent match didn't make me feel better like it was his first ever match of league title for new season but he didn't made any productive deal. I am big fan of him but at first match he didn't impressed me with his performance now I am wondering what if he got failed or he didn't took he bright start or blah blah blah......

However, let's keep it simple like it was his first match I think he will still try to explore his team capacity or even test hsi player ability with different instructions. I hope his next match will make sounds good but if he continues like sloppy wheel then probably it will be hard for him to compete with Hansi Flick.

Getting the dressing room of Real Madrid to fully buy into Mourinho’s ideas and decisions will be a bit challenging for him unlike it was during the days of Porto, Chelsea and Inter Milan. Real Madrid is a composition of star players who walk around with so much ego and believes the world is fully hopeful around them or otherwise, so it becomes a bit more difficult to control such team but I believe he can to large extent but it will experience back and forth with the likes of Vini among others.
