If you're hoping that you will make something out of bounty hunting, you're just deluding yourself. You should wake-up from your sleep and face reality that nothing profitable comes out from hunting for bounties rather than purely waste of time

Reality with regards to bounties this days presently is we have such a large number of bounty hunters which implies that prizes will be much lower than 2017 bounty rewards and besides we have a lot more con artists utilizing blockchain innovation to assemble more trick projects, the just way out is incredibly dedicated and numerous battles to atleast get something at last

Developers are the one to be blame,80% of developers build projects to make money and the only way they can achieve their aims is to feed investors with fake promises and lies and make the project almost realistic so that many investors will have trust on the project, bounties is more like a gambling game now and no matter how real a project seem you wont know its end game until proven otherwise

My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work.
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?

So disheartening that one can barely make a living from 90% of bounties these days. You can imagine working for a project for months+ only for the project to distribute and price ends up being shit. This is even better. What about those who deny hunters of their rewards? Crypto Hunting has indeed lost its glories.

Doing bounties does take a lot of effort in order to get profits but at the same time, experienced bounty hunters are now very cautious whether the project that they're doing bounties for are legit or not. What people are doing now is to check trusted scam check websites to see if that bounty was verified or marked as scam. It's very hard to rely on your own self for those cases and will mostly likely need the help of others so that you will feel comfortable participating in that bounty campaign.

Unfortunately, I completely agree with you, but this is all due to the fact that the altcoin market simply dies day by day and now new altcoins that are listed on exchanges very quickly fall in price and simply cost nothing, last year, it was still possible to make good money doing bounty companies, and now for example, if you want to provide yourself only with bounty companies, then this will not work, well, unless of course you will participate in 200-300 bounty companies, then there’s still a chance.

This year's bounty campaigns bring very little profit, even less than last year. Although many people thought it could be worse. However, I noted that bounty hunters are not created, but continue to work, in many cases for free, in the hope that they will be lucky with the next project.

Although the results of the Bounty campaign declined, I was still grateful for being able to get results. Of the 2018 many ICO projects experienced failures. And investor confidence in the ICO is also declining due to many false projects.

By lowering your Bounty campaign's earnings, don't make you give up. However, this is our chance to collect more altcoins. Because if later sometime in the season of Altcoin happens again as the year 2017, we can get many advantages.

Yes, I am in the same situation as you, unlike previous projects that pay me better now. We can continue as before, but the way to choose bounty must be more careful and accurate than before. This is not in vain when we spend some time with it, only a little but effectively is our concern.

Bounty hunting could be lucrative for those whose are hardworking and lucky. I believe some persons make a living from bounty hunting and has devoted a lot of energy into it. It would be easier for people who run different campaigns and has been in the system for longer time

this is not possible. if you have a thought of getting along with bounty in your mind, you immediately get it out of your mind. and focus on a good job.

Bounty was never considered as living as bounty earning depend on many factors. Nowadays, the market is in bad phase and many bounties are extending their time to get their targeted amount but still they are not able to meet their targets. You can do it as a part time earnings as nothing is fixed here.

Most genuine developers too are not much putting interest in ICO that much as they don’t often release projects as much as they do from the beginning, and most of them now wants to go over to IEO to try their luck which they get bounced back by these great exchanges because they dint usually find their project worthy.

ICO has really been bad for most people, and it does not usually pay as much as it does before. I think that 2018 and 2019 was really the worst for ICO and we are hoping that 2020 will show us a different approach. We still have very good ICO though, at least this year, I have participated in at least ten good ones even if they all didn’t give that much in the amount that was given to one after the end of the campaign, but at least it is better than nothing.

I think we should choose the bounty carefully, there are many bounty in the markets and should be find a good bounty can make profit, this sure depend on the project itself.

But you must agree with the OP that bounty hunting days are long gone! The time and effort you put in finding such a good project is just too much as compared to the end rewards and it's worrisome that we have many shitty bounties still being run and people always sign up hoping it turns out a successful project without doing any research.

If you happen to leave your job for bounty hunting I recommend that you go back to your job, bounty hunting can no longer support you, some bounty campaign takes months or even a year before they distribute their coins and you will have to wait for months before you can trade it in the market.

In my opinion, it is not possible actually to make a living with bounty hunting, because even if you choose the best campaigns you still have to wait several months until the token gets listed and until it reaches the profitable price, this can take a very long time. And for living you need a weekly or monthly stable income.

If I myself do not continue to rely on the bounty program which is now quiet and not yet crowded but I turn to work outside because now the bounty is quiet and really does not pay so I feel tired to continue to follow the campaign program.

You are not wrong. With the hundreds of crypto projects failing these days, the bounty sector of the industry seems to be on a steady decline making it extremely difficult to profit from bounties. However, this doesn't mean there are no more good bounties, it simply means that there are a lot more failed projects out there leading to a lot more failed bounties out there. My advice for anyone seeking to go into bounty hunting to always make thorough research concerning the said project and its bounty terms before settling to do the bounties.

That's a good decision, working full time in bounty when it's not profitable in overall is a bad idea, looking a stable job is always the answer as you can still do bounty hunting at the same time, even if you have a job. Well, for me, I really start bounty hunting while I still have my day job, I just quit my day job when I already start making money in trading and bounty hunting at the same time, now bounty hunting is bad but I can still make a bit in trading so it help me with my daily living, what I can suggest, is let's always have an alternative way of earning.
