I am ready for the next ride/tothemoon and so on since March 2018 and keep all my altcoins in a tight hand, but more and more I am haunted by thoughts of selling it all and hodl BTC only ...

at the moment the price of Bitcoin is still in stable and we don't know whether if bullish on Bitcoin will happen again then will Altcoin follow or not? of course I also hope that bulls should occur at the same stage in the market ( Bitcoin and Altcoin ) as at the end of years 2017 ago, but at the moment bullish only happens to Bitcoin and Alts doesn't follow.

This is a change of market trend, that's why bitcoin and the crypto market is known to be unpredictable.
Before, it's easy to guess because when BTC rises, altcoins followed, but now, until to date, altcoins are still not moving based on our expectations.

During the time of a bull run last 2017, I believe a lot of investors also bought altcoins as it's undeniably more profitable than bitcoin that time.
But then, when the correction strikes, things changes, what was a profitable investment have sink a lot losing more 80% or more of its value from its highest price.

We'd all are ready for that but ain't to think it happen this year. The market still taking its break, pumps are rare to see at this time. It is quite possible to see next year ( well hope so). New investors are so impatient and they'll probably be losing their faith if they never saw any market pumps.
The market still quite and having short pumps won't be enough to move the entire market, it is only a reason that people will feel doubts.

I think the same, in fact I was surprised when I saw the price recovering at the beginning of this year since I thought it was too soon to see that kind of recovery, and while many are predicting that we will reach a new all time high soon I am skeptical as the growth has stalled and the market is getting less and less volatile, however during the next year we will get the bitcoin halving which is always a bullish signal for bitcoin but I do not expect the price to resume its growth until the end of 2020 which is enough time for inexperienced traders to get desperate and sell their coins before the next bull run.

I hope that the court decision, which is designed to exact 4 billion.  dollars in Bitcoin with the imposter Craig for the family of his late ex-partner Kleiman, will not affect the pricing of Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market.  We are already tired of listening to negative news regarding cryptocurrencies that negatively affect prices.

If me personally, will think ETH more than that. In Q4 maybe if bitcoin pump followed by ETH, although maybe not reach it's last ATH, i think ETH still have chance to get high price. Especially if POS come and people start to stake it, maybe when it start, can be pumped because a lot of demand will come for ETH.

Of course, ETH will have a chance to get the higher price, but ETH still needs time before it's happening. We were already waiting for a long time ago to see bitcoin price get a pump and if that happens, I think it's only a matter for the altcoin to follow to get pump too. It will happen later, be patient, and enjoy the ride. But I am ready if the pump is coming in early time because I have my coins in the right place, so I only need to make an order sell if the trend is changing.

Good luck, hopefully you'll be able longer so you will enjoy the next bull run.
I know we are challenge here and tested on how strong we can hold, as for me, I have been holding even since the January 2018, and I made a mistake on buying some coins at peak, although I think I also a correct decision when buying them when they dip, all I want now is to sell at a profit, and it might be a long hold because I need to see a new ATH for BTC and altcoins that I'm holding before I will start to dispose them.

Our market has been adjusted and falling for several months now, Bitcoin has dropped from $ 13k3 -> $ 9k6.
And now our market is recovering and this is early Q4. The market will start having bull run like the end of 2017.

That's what I'm expecting too, it's not bad to stay optimistic despite of what happen with the market last year, I'm sure that once this little run of BTC will continue, it will help the hype and people will think it's a bull run because its the similar situation in 2017.

I think we are ready for a big price move. We have been establishing support for a while now. the latest attempt to drop prices has now been fought off and BTC is back over $10k. Support has been re-established, and the downwards tests have failed. I think there is growing evidence now that this sets us up for another bullish move.

If he is to pay his partner in bitcoin, then it  means he will have to convert the money into bitcoin first, which means he has to take the money from his traditional bank and then pump it into the bitcoin market which 4 billion is still enough to raise the value a little before he transfers it to his partner, and I am sure that the partner would not be willing to change the money right now to fiat back but keep it in the bitcoin market, so me I see it as a positive news because I so much believe that Craig does not have any bitcoin worth that amount in the bitcoin market, he is only lying about him having majority of bitcoin coins.

He only has investment probably in bitcoin cash which I don’t think has much correlation for the payment of bitcoin to his partner.

The upwards move in the last couple of days is welcome, and I think it could well be conclusive in setting current prices as support rather than resistance. We were holding at a lower point for a while, but now BTC has pushed back over $10k we are set for a return to bullish movement. The question of whether alts will take over the bull run is however still completely wide open.

I don't think we are going to see a bull run for altcoins this year. Maybe it will start at the beginning of next year. But i hope it will happen sooner.

It all about bitcoin now and some of the altcoins may not move an inch in the next bull run. The ICO market that bring bullish momentum to the altcoins in 2017 is almost dead because of the way developers handle peoples funds. Just imagine a projects that got $12,600,000 from ico in 2017 -2018 could not developed the project and the next thing is to launch another project last week! It is sad that altcoins market may not recover again but we all know the reasons that happen and it is because people are not ready to keep wasting money on a system that keep scamming them. Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and few of them are attracting investors today because the founders are sincere.

Absolutely the only main reason of all This are Scammers everywhere,we cannot name even 10 ICO projects the make a good way from what they’ve earned in 2017
Just like what you’ve mentioned a ICO that earns $12 million(if this really from investors and not their own money just to say they reached the hard cap)still not doing any better until today?this is a great example of sh*ts happening in ICo community and don’t really help the crypto community

I dont think is the longest bear market, cause it is not up to 3 years already. Usually bitcoin maximalist are more confident

That's the longest for me because it has already ended, maybe it's safe to say that the bear market last for at least a year because although this year altcoins is still bearish, but BTC is giving us the confident again.

When Bitcoin rises, people think altcoins has a chance to rise again also, so this situation now does not really makes people panic.
Worst happen to the market was last year when BTC was at $3000 plus from almost $20,000 in 2017, that's only a year but it dropped that low, but it seems we are back up now and starting to penetrate the uptrend.
