time to change BTC to ETH?

Still bitcoin has better growth compared to ethereum so I would advise you to keep the bitcoin and if you have any other cryptos or fiat then convert them into ethereum which sounds good idea to me.

I have never try it since I decided to invest in crypto industry. Bitcoin is the best place that I ever know, but to buy ETH when I got profit from investing on bitcoin  I often to do it. I just pick the top altcoin such as ETH, litecoin or bitcoin cash as an alternative investment of bitcoin.

At some point, I tried to find some news/information as a banchmark to buy these coins such as in early August last month. When I got profit from bitcoin (I got profit when bitcoin price increased to $12.000) I tried to another luck to choose litecoin as my alternative investment. Because at that time litecoin will head halving event although the price litecoin still haven't reached to my prediction.

Indeed, ETH still have a lower price at this time but I haven't found any good news which stated that ETG will find an increasing price in the future. I still have a bit confident to buy altcoin at the lower price because it does not guarantee I'll get profit. Different with bitcoin I'll buy more when its price got decreased cause it certainly guarantees I will get a profit later.

Eth is a good coin next to bitcoin, if you were to invest in eth do it now while the price is still cheap. Though the value is currently low now but once the bull run occur or btc recover eth will follow and its proven for eth and btc to bounce back after bearish trend.

I have these two coin in my portfolio and if I were to add additional eth I will use another capital and will not switch my btc to eth since these two coins are a good coins and worthy to hold.

That will be your call to buy right now or not. We have a different reason to buy ethereum now or later because we have different strategies for the coin. I still buying until now but if bitcoin price is not stable as a few days ago, I think it's better to stay calm for a while and wait for what will happen later. So, I work and get paid, I instantly send 5% of it to ethereum, than I keep about 10% on bitcoin, than I withdraw all the rest and spend it, most of the time its enough for me, for the past 2-3 months I had to cash out almost all of it because I went to vacation and I had no money this year so I had to make a debt just for vacation (I know it sounds silly but I had to reset myself). After that I just went ahead and started paying my debts, I will be debt free in 2 months and will start saving again, putting 5% of all my income to ethereum and 10% to bitcoin.

Hah, don't stress yourself about going into debt for a vacation.  When we die all we have is our memories, no point in being the richest person in the graveyard.

You can't say fairer than that .. bitcoin should remain stay in your wallet as long as possible , if you could ... it should be there forever 

Ethereum market movement is indeed well known at some point always acts in the opposite direction , it's been predicted by some pro trader since last month that ethereum might will mega moon against bitcoin ...

Today could be the turning point .. if you do some research about this ethereum mega moon possibility.. you could take a little risk ( if you badly FOMO ) by take 20% of your bitcoin holding to swap it for ethereum to take this chance. There's nothing wrong with it.

I don't see any reason why we push ourself to convert our BTC into ETH, it is only putting at risk. In fact, we are gaining actually in Bitcoin and I don't think that we should have to look for another which we saw that ETH is not good in the position right now. We don't have problems with bitcoin, only altcoins struggle such difficulties which we could think that ETH isn't much profitable this time. Though we think that ETH will rise up next year but not actually we have that assurance.

There's no assurance and it's better to keep what you already have instead of taking your risk switching to another coin/s that  don't have any good movement. Bitcoin have it all and the expected halving will bring more potentials that it will rise after more adoptions bound to happen.

You need to be more optimistic whenever you try another ventures for your investment. Make sure to have a good research before taking your step.

Holding up to both coin is good,  but one needs to consider the profit aspects also,  we all know that these two coins are the giants in the market,  they are long term coins,  but having a lots of units is the goal so as to secure huge profit,.

It's much more easier to accumulate more units of ethereum than bitcoin,  and ethereum is currently so low in terms of dollar price and Satoshi value,
