According to Nielsen Media Research figures released Tuesday, an average of 604,000 viewers watched FOX’s live airing of “PBC Countdown: Errol Spence Jr. Vs. Shawn Porter” on network television. The 30-minute program aired on the East Coast late Saturday night, following FOX’s live telecast of a college football game, Penn State’s 45-13 win over Buffalo, that aired in prime time.

This is big numbers I do hope that it will reflect on the actual fight and draw close to that numbers as well. It means that boxing is still on the mainstream although we don't have Mayweather as top US boxing attraction.

I doubt that will translate to PPV buys, nobody really cares about Porter to be honest, people had high hopes early in his career but he never really reached his full potential. Now he's slightly older and has been beaten odds of him being great are pretty low.

TBH, even Errol Spence isn't that big of a name, not too many people care about what happens in the lower weight classes, unless it's Canelo.

Whoever wins here might ask for Pacquiao's match. After all, most of the boxing fights are for money. And they are striking the iron while it is hot. Pacman is no doubt can attract a sizeable number of crowd to earn big money.

This is a great motivation for the two fighters, the opportunity to fight Pacquiao because any Pacquiao fight against a young fighter is always a mega-fight, every fighter in this generation wants a piece of Pacquiao because everyone here wants to be the one to retire the great Manny Pacquiao.

I think there is a possibility that we can see Pacquiao vs Spence Jr. in the future. But first Errol needs to get ride of Porter because it's not going to an easy fight for him, and after that, he can inject himself in a Pacquaio clash and possible the biggest paycheck of his career.

It's not wise to put your money for a chance to win 9% of your bet, I would just have to let it go if I were you, just enjoy the match, it's not worth betting at all. That's the expectation and that's what boxing fans wanted to see, for Manny to fight the winner of this match. Exactly, the Danny Garcia fight already proved that. I think he was also the underdog at that time and was below the judges scorecard in the early rounds. But he adapt and listen to his dad and change his style in the mid rounds and rough Garcia.

Although he was hit in return, but there are a lot of close rounds and usually judges gives it to the aggressor that's why he was able to squeeze a close decision and win the belt. So I'm seeing another performance by Porter similar to Garcia's fight, make his opponent uncomfortable and close the gap.

Porter is all flare up coming to the fight he has a lot of motivation, and if Spence is the big favorite here, then there is a big possibility of another major upset here just like what happened to the Joshua - Ruiz fight and this might even compete for that match if ever Porter knocks out Spence.
