At my first guess is basketball has the sports that literally has have a lot of supporters. And I made a researched which technically I’m wrong. I love watching football like it’s super entertaining, fun to watch and I can’t just stop loving it and watching it all videos thru internet.

Very interesting data. I suspected(and said in my previous post) that Cricket, because of its extreme popularity, should have been added to the list. Yet I think that some data from the worldatlas' table, quoted by you, are debatable. For example, in my opinion, Basketball is hardly less popular than Tennis or Volleyball nowadays. That's why the table below suits me better.

That data gives me more information like tf that I actually thought that basketball has the most popular sports globally. Does there’s information like how football has the most popular sports worldwide? I’m thinking it’s because football is more popular in the most populated country in the world or i’m wrong?

Worldwide soccer has always been very popular. And betting on it is very popular and lucrative if you know the best players and clubs.

And besides with this thread having 150+ views and 40+ comments on it, only few gamblers has voted. So it really doesn't stack up that much even if soccer was popular globally (but not us here in the philippines (I guess))

Indeed, Basketball sports game are very well known in the Philippines than soccer. The whole thing that I know it was a Basketball and we are the same thought but the fact is wrong. Maybe in the Philippines, it is basketball but for the rest of the world, it is soccer. But at least, users here that don't know which sport is the most popular became aware of the statistics as mentioned by others already. And sometimes where you are in the world also matters the significance of each sport.

All on the region you are trying to put into consideration for as far as I know, soccer is one of the sports bet that is dominant in my country an I think is one of the top on the world wild scale.

Football (or soccer in some regions) is a universal sport and transcends borders, hence it's huge fan base and also higher rate of gamblers. I do not know if dog and horse races are primarily considered to be sports, but AFAIK they have a high rate if gamblers, but is not as much a universal sport as football.

I think the first is football and the second is boxing. Turnover of money in 2018 Football Gambling (World Cup) reaches tens of billions of dollars worldwide, and every world boxing match (as in every Pacquiao match) is able to generate hundreds of millions of dollars in profits only from ticket sales. 

Basketball is not too much interest in the whole world, only in certain countries and circles.

Good to know that there's a data above showing that football is the largest supporters in a sports game. I remember back then when I was using Dapp to bet the only option there is basketball and football league. So, I think these two sports game was always in online sportsbook and they are very common every in an online gambling site that has betting on sports. But in my country Basketball is very well known and I don't even know what is the idea of playing football or whos their team name.

Never in my thoughts that this Sport can be more popularized than the male sports Basketball (though of course there is also a male Volleyball league) from what criteria did that survey counts the Fans as stated?it seems that there’s not right .but we cannot do anything since it was already accounted 😂

Well it was already stated in my quoted post that soccer fans dominated the whole sports world with 4 Billion fans around the Globe so yes it’s Soccer/Football

Do you read the previous replies? Or did you even try to research what was the popular sports around the world? I don't think you ever did and i don't think you ever voted too since the result is clearly showing which sport is in the top rank. Boxing is way out of the league although the money involved in it when betting is immensely high due to the months of training of both fighters before they face each other.

In my opinion, not much people who jump into basketball. I mean not all people enjoy it. I pick only on soccer because it's supporters is all around the world.That is why there are a lot of things that we can bet in sportsbetting especially soccer. With that reason, i pick on soccer.

I guess that would be Basketball. Just look at the thread for NBA here it has been updated a lot of times most specially of its the finals there's a lot of discussion happening. A lot can relate with Basketball. Next I guess would be Boxing, there's a lot of threads about it here as well not only one or two threads about boxing.
