Because they know that it can be very hard to enter big exchanges and convince them that your project is very useful and insight of having a very solid future to get funds using them. Legitimacy will not really help for the project to become successful even if it is the part of the information's that will help the project to get few investors but good marketing, hard work, good developers/team that are genuine and legitimacy of the product are the common factors for the project to become successful.

Being launch in big exchanges is a good factor but it is useless if the team behind the product cannot market their project well.

in my opinion it is even less legit and more scam when it is sanctioned by big centralized places like Binance. and that is exactly why these exchanges are doing it, they want to make more money and don't care about what they are advertising. they would have added the token (in case of ICO) anyways so why not get in from the start and get paid for it!
and that makes it easier for them to scam people because now they reach a wider audience most of whom are gamblers.

Launching in big exchanges really does help a project when it comes to volume and exposure. I agree with you at some point because big exchanges wouldn't risk their reputation so they would likely pick legitimate projects as much as possible.

Well, the success of the project still depends on the development of it and its team though. But still, it's a lot better than ICO launching.

and maybe its hard to conducting an Ieo on binance rather than on other exchange mate
maybe the reason why a project conduct an IEO on small exchange is because its easier and the fees lower than big exchange like binance

Legit of course if it is held in a large exchange it is not possible for the SCAM project
But we also need to be able to research more about the project wherever IEO is held, whether small or large exchanges. Because not all IEO projects in small exchanges are SCAM, there are also good projects that cannot go into large exchanges because of the expensive listing fees

 Time will tell,. but it doesnt mean that if an IEO is held in binance it wont go scam or become a fraud, it would still depend of the team or developers itself running the project, they are the life blood of the projects, but as of now i never experience any fraud projects being held in binance, or its too early to tell for now.

It is, because such exchanges like binance cannot add trash token because it would harm their image. Furthermore, they are doing a deep investigation and promotion for this project and they cannot afford a project to be not legit.

I think that's a good idea. because so far indeed most of the new coin launches are put on a small exchange. maybe the developers think they are launching at a small exchange that can reduce costs or something that would certainly give developers a little profit. sometimes even after it is released it is not written on the exchange and the worst effect on bounty hunters and investors because the tokens they have received cannot be exchanged in exchange. and this idea to put new coins at a large exchange is very supportive because it will make us calm as a bounty hunter and investor.

Big exchange site has big volume and it will always become legit IEO and exchange site has already validated that project too and that is very effective to prevent the scam project but it's not always true if any legit IEO must be launched on the big exchange site.
The fact said even a lower-tier exchange site than binance called gate,io has more ROI compared with binance..

Well I haven't heard yet that investors losing money in IEO in the big exchanges like binance.. so it is proven that they are more legit if they listed in big exchanges. About listing in small exchanges I think there are the reason why they want to list in small exchange because it is cheap listing and they can scam I guess.

Not necessarily since there is no assurance that it won't get delisted from Binance if ever the project isn't successful. On the other hand, it's an advantage since a lot of traders in Binance are always checking for new listed tokens for the sake of hoping it get hyped which isn't impossible.

It reduces the rate of scam but that doesn't mean the project will be successful. If a project after having an IEO on Binance forgets to develop their project, the price will drop as well but IEO on a big exchange is an added advantage.

They already have a mileage compare to other projects who does independent crowdfunding like ICO, because Binance has strict compliance and of course Binance do not want to lose the trust of their investors and traders if they are going to accept a low quality project.

But after the crowdfunding or launching it's out of the exchange's control you also need to do your research and always follow the development of the project, this is not 2016 or 2017, where you can just buy a coin and forget it and wait for it to get their best price.

Most of these big exchanges do not only accept projects based on the developers conviction, but based on their own personal research also, so exchanges like binance will never register a project expect maybe they are extremely sure that the project has a real use case, and that the project has a very solid team.

It is when they are convinced that they have very great team and a project that will always make the value of the product or coin to grow that they register them. Look at most of the IEO projects that has been registered on Binance, majority of them are still doing nervy well till now, we are not just filling the impact because the number of projects that has been registered in binance is still not enough to be able to add more increase to the market cap of altcoins.
