Please correct if I am wrong here and this is not to bash the project. I have looked at many of these cloud computing in the space none has really deliver or able to generate users for their platform. I can name like 4 to 5 project that was able to raise huge funds during the last ICO craze and most are just there burning the investors funds.
My question is how is this project going to be different from them
You are right, there are a couple of projects, which try to decentralize or distribute different aspects of computing.
We have thoroughly analyzed them and had a similar impression as you have.
Although (for legal reasons) we can't get into the details why we believe they are failing, we of course tried to learn from their mistakes to not repeat them.
Generally, what distinguishes us from these projects is our strong business pragmatism.
We performed the planning for our project in the right order.
We first looked at the market and what it needs. Only afterwards we analyzed and determined how we can deliver the technical solution.
Most other projects obviously started with "what is cool from a tech perspective" or what they want to work/research on, then they collected money and just afterwards started to worry how they could deliver the tech or what the market actually needs.
Therefore, these projects often have huge needs for research activities, which may succeed, but often fail, causing delays and changes of direction.
HiveNet on the other hand builds upon available technology and knowledge.
Therefore, we have practically no need for new research.
We have already setup our architecture and solved all relevant technological and business barriers upfront.
Therefore, while other projects started with extreme research risks, HiveNet doesn't have those and we can basically just move forward with writing the code step by step according to our development plan.
