Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation

When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

Bitcoin: expectation for bitcoin has been satisfied already because bitcoin extremely well performed by reaching $14000 before corrected.

Altcoins: expectation for altcoins has been partially satisfied with their bumps in late of April and early of May. The rest part of my expectation will be fullfilled if during last four months of this year, altcoins rally to their peaks in late of April and early of May, or even higher than those peaks.
I do see good movements of altcoins from bottoms, because their season will be trigger if bitcoin crashed or bitcoin moves stably in consolidation phase - that is likely what we are observing.

I stopped expecting because we are just going to be disappointed,  the momentum cannot sustain, the price is moving up and down and we don't know when will we reach the next all-time high or will we ever reach $20 k again, we just have to expect the worse and hope for the best to come.

Nope, I'm expecting that Q3-Q4 will reach again the All-time-high but based on the current condition of our market. It looks like it will not going there and we might stay in 10k area but who knows? There might some major news that will trigger the bull run we all waiting for.

I only have one expectation, I hope the market will soon enter a bullish trend. if you look at the current reality, I think my hopes are not too difficult. and could just be realized.

in recent months we actually see the market should have improved, but because of some negative things that happened to make people afraid to buy.

Hopefully in the future there will be no more bad news ...

In the case of bitcoin, it has actually exceeded my expectation for this year. The climb back to double digits was faster than I thought.

With regards to all time high's, I expected that to happen next year and not this year where Bitcoin will once again carry most of the major altcoins.

I expected that altcoins will have everything much better than now, but now bitcoin is all right (this is what I expected from it). There are still 3 months ahead of the end of the year and everything can change a lot. I believe in the altcoin season and wait for it to come.

Honestly, expectation vs. Reality are really opposite. When 2019 came many said and predict that bitcoin will rise $19000-$20000 when last quarter of the year will came. And now that we are on the first month of our last quarter of the year,expectation is too far from reality. But I think there is time to make it happened and I know all of us is waiting.

these are false expectations specially because they are based on fake hype in the market spread by other newbies trying to recover the 80% to 95% losses they have been experiencing over the past two years.
one top of that altcoins are still in pumped state so they need more dumping to go down and exit their bubbles in order to reach a more realistic prices.
then we have the issue of lack of newbies to buy these altcoins and help the pumps take place. so the pumpers will have a hard time making any major pumps. which is why they are currently pumping small coins 1000% at a time.

The current uptrend is really good to moving forward. So your expectation will possible on end of the year or next year, All the marketcap is depends on trading platform so peoples are enough value so again all are sell the coin and next day invest on future investment it is react the everyday market. I expect more than 25k USD on next year.

Did you think when facebook comes to the crypto and that will give a huge impact? it will contribute nothing for crypto and this has already talked so many times.
My expectation is not reaching yet. It's too far to see the crypto is going to be wild again. Even so, many experts have already failed to predict where the crypto will be going on.
Some may still feel skepticism about crypto right now.
Coin that will be issued by the big companies will not give a big impact to the crypto and it may become the opposite thing.

We are all hoping for the best and i am sure everyone whats the best of all but things haven't be going the way we all wanted and only few lucky people are getting good rewards from promoting bounty projects excluding top exchange IEO investors and pro traders,many others are waiting for altcoin season to return so that they can make good profit but i guess we still have to wait more longer

Far from it, I expect not only me but the majority of investors that 2019 is another banner year for Cryptocurrency, in preparation for 2020 where halving and launching Libra coin is going to happen, but unfortunately, look at where we are it's like we are starting all over again, we should have reached, $15 k already.

Sadly, many expectations are starting to get shattered especially when we about to enter the last quarter of the year. However, it can be because people are expecting a lot and we know that ordinarily expectations can be based on thin air consequently they are more of a dream rather than based on existing realities. Personally, I was expecting that within 2019 we can get back to the $20K level and if not then at least around $15K but I think I better revised this one and straight stick it to 2020.

I hope this will happen in the near future, but the reality is my hope has not yet been realized, I have many altcoins that do not have significant price changes, the market is still weak and there are no signs of an increase in altcoin prices, bitcoin is dominating the market today.

My expectations from crypto have not come to past yet,all the coins and tokens i have in my wallets are all bleeding out,the only hope left is if Ethereum can stand up on its feet once again after the 2.0 upgrade hopefully or if altcoin season brings back a big revenge,hopefully 2020 will be a very good year for altcoins especially.

No. I dont really see my own speculation coming true.
It had been a long year and it seems like some of the altcoins are still not getting the price that I wanted. Specially Ethereum.
A lot of usage can be seen but the price havent reached even $200 up until now. It had been so long by now.
Damn other altcoins are now getting a better value than it.

It had always been my second choice and I know a lot of bitcoin supporters feels the same way.
But I just dont why it is still so much down.

Of course that people would like to see better results, but they do not understand that we are at the very beginning and everything needs a time. Maybe you see a slow progress, but I see that blockchain is grwoing more than internet after 10 year of existence  .
