unfortunately my hopes for this year are not close to reality, this is far beyond expectations. I hope the price of bitcoin and altcoin can move significantly but vice versa. The market said differently that the price of cryptoqurrency this year did not experience a significant change, even when BTC pumped up to $ 9k when it did not affect the other altcoin prices at all. the current market reality is really bad.

You need to do the best that you can to learn from this experience, we are all expecting that something similar to what happened during 2017 happens again and many were expecting this year to be similar and in a way we got it, but it was too short lived and that is what generated all of that disappointment among people and it doesn't seem very likely that the next year is going to be any better, so dedicate your time to accumulate all the coins that you can and forget about the price for some time.

I think the price of bitcoin this year is quite good although at the end of this year the price of bitcoin has continued to decline to $ 6900 but bitcoin has pumped up to $ 13,000 in the middle of this year. and provides a sizable profit to people who bought bitcoin earlier this year at a bitcoin price of $ 3000. the rise and fall of bitcoin prices is normal for us as bitcoin holders to be good at speculating and making good use of bitcoin price fluctuations. and now is the right time to add and buy bitcoin. Post from September, time is passing fast. Bitcoin dropped in the mean time, some other alts too, while some are moving up like tezos for example, and there are couple more. What is happening with the market currently? Like always people are buying and selling, more then before. I think this market is in the stage of accumulation, many things are happening everywhere around, prices are moving up and down, but that doesn't stop people from working for crypto, from trading, or gambling. We see new exchanges, new casinos, new services, many things are new, and we are going forward I believe.
Crypto market will explode once again in the future, this accumulation period will end one day, I strongly believe in that.

IMO, there is no need to be so much negative about the current situation. Apart from the decline in the exchange rates, there are a lot of things which are occurring in the background, away from the attention of the vast majority of the users. First of all, many of the useless shitcoins are becoming dead or dormant and the degree of market fragmentation is decreasing. Another thing I have noticed is that many of the established coins (Ethereum for example) are moving from the power-intensive PoW algorithm to the more environmentally friendly PoS algorithm.

But in the year of 2019 we saw a time when the price of bitcoin reached to $14000 that was a great achievement of bitcoin in that year and because of that a hope again appeared in the hearts of many people and the price of bitcoin gain a good position and the investors again came to participate in the trade etc. It is right that altcoin showed not like the year of 2017 but they all got some breathe and it is expected that in the year of 2020 they all will also get a high value.

And maybe after halving I think it takes time for bitcoin to reach a new ATH, and maybe a new ATH can happen at the end of this year or even into 2021.

Number one lesson: be hopeful (due to the prospects of the industry) but keep and open mind (because, not all predictions and assumptions turn out real). Crypto is not mathematics and thus anything is bound to happen. I am more of the latter, my hope for crypto is immeasurable and I hope it fulfills all its potentials

It all depends on the time frame that we are using, when it comes to the long term then I am extremely bullish on bitcoin, I prefer to not put a price to my expectations but every time I think about I cannot see a scenario in which bitcoin does not become successful regardless of what the governments try to do to stop it.

But when it comes to the short term I am very cautious, the volatility of bitcoin is huge compared to the volatility of other assets and its price can go up and down abruptly, so in that time frame I keep my mind very open since I do not want to be caught off guard and bitcoin surprises me and I lose money because of it.

But this is exactly why we should not predict and just give in to the market. Keep buying regularly, ignore the price,,, and when 18k comes that is when you wake up and sell what you need to.

Anticipate the worst always, and always remember the golden rule of investing only what you can afford, then everything will be fine.
