Why do you need to dump your own token instead of having hope to hold it since crptocurrencies are volatile there is a big possibility to pump or to have volume. Patience is the key as we are all saying. Just chill and wait for the right time that your holdings have their own value. You bought it so you need to wait and sell it in high price because you are the one who lose when you sell it at low price pr dump it. Maybe the next time you should choose some good projects so that you can earn bigger.

I don't see the point in dumping shit coins, it is just another waste of time. Yes, it irritates to see lots of worthless coins in your wallet, but dumping and desperately selling them won't bring you money or time back.

My current altcoin portfolio have been reduced to almost nothing. So I don't see the need to sell/dump it now, I prefer to hold until whenever crypto resurrects.

And what would you do if the coins you are holding never come back to life? It is very easy to dream with the day in which your coins are going to be worth a fortune but most likely that day will never come so what do you prefer, do you wish to keep holding your coins until they have no value? Or do you prefer to get rid of them right now while you can still get some money for them? It is not an easy decision but to me it is preferable to recover some of your money while you can instead of losing it all.

I also have the same problem as you, in fact my wallet is full with shitcoin, but in this case I don't want to throw away the coin that, because I hope that in the future some shitcoin coins can have an exchange so that I can sell them, rather than throw away my shitcoin tokens think it's better for us to save it and replace our wallet address with a new one, so we don't feel burdened, usually shitcoin comes from the airdrop project and the bounty project that has been left by the developer.

Dumping on exchange won't solve the problem, how about when there's only sell orders no one willing to buy who buys such tokens then. Utility for projects will make price better.

Most shitcoins are ERC20 tokens, so I'll suggest you check forkdelta or any other DEX using just contract address to trade unofficially without listing. Most shitcoins I got are through airdrops although some I bought are still worthless, no official listing so far for some.

Locked yourself at shitcoin really bad experience. You see cheap BTC, ETH etc. but you can not buy them because you put all you money a shitcoin and you are at 40%loss.
I was thinking the same way. Locked at around 15 shitcoins. Waited patiently and my loss become 50%..than 60%.
I can recommend you make your detailed research and invest on a good project which can lead the market in the future.

Everyone will feel annoyed when they see the coins that accumulate in their wallet, not all coins obtained from the bounty has a sale value, and there are even shitcoins that aren't listed on the exchange, and finally the coin will become a collection in our wallet. Crypto-market is facing many crisis. I believe you should visit trusted site before investing your money or time. You should analyze project completely, by checking project rating you got to know whether a project is worthy for investment or not.

These were my thoughts exactly in late 2015. I got rid of my nxt and btc because i had some expenses to pay, i thought the nxt would be dead on the near bottom. I even had to dump it very slowly because i didn't want to dump the price as the walls were too thin to me. After a while the price jumped and i decided i won't even look at it. On the 2017 it peaked near $2 and that was the most expensive lesson i ever got about hodling (or anything). At 2015 it was becoming a worthless shitcoin to me even though i liked the project and the active community. So i guess it all depends on what you are holding and does it really have value that you just have to wait out.

Also bitcoin did raise from $300-400 quite a lot that i kinda regret selling now. But somehow the nxt annoys me more.

What a nightmare, condolences. I am counting on similar situations in the time frame of couple of years when my shitcoins will rise from their graves and earn me a Lambo. I wont be holding my breath during that time, but who knows what crypto has in store for us in the future.

You are doing the right thing, the longer you wait the more difficult it will be to dump your coins and it will be almost impossible to get a fair price for them, I am really disturbed by what it is happening but I am not surprised, most new coins are not good at all and they are just recycling old ideas that we know already they wont work, what we really need is for those coins to disappear, I know it sounds cruel but the longer this situation remains the harder it will be for new and legitimate projects to prosper.

When I find a good projects' asset, I never dump, I actually collect it for future profits but you need to be really careful while doing that. YOu can use either forkdelta or some other exchange to collect. But if i think that price is high and would not go higher, I may sell it. Because I am sure thar price will go down as people sell.

If shitcoin doesn't have an exchange, of course you can't do anything except see it in your competition as a complement to the life of the Prize Hunter. One way to get rid of it is to sell it in FD or ED. That is also if someone buys it.

If the team owners abandoned the project then there is no point for waiting for an exchange but if the team are still active then you may try to persuade them to list their token in a DEX since is the most proficient way that did not involve any money for listing.

Where did you get those shitcoins ? If it was from investing using your money, it just wasted money indeed.
The favorite place to dump eth tokens is decentralized exchange like forkdelta, you can even sell before it listed on the exchange.
Although im not desperately looking for it, i think im gonna sell the shitcoins i have when it listed.
