The rest of the world has already moved on from the issue. The subpoenas were served, some complied with them, some did not. Some of the subpoenaed individuals have already given testimony, and copies of their actual subpoena documents have been publicly released. Yet here you are still, white knuckling this one rock of ignorance in a sea of truth, completely encased in the fear of having to admit you were wrong, unable to move on.

Trump has been all but impeached at this point, but because you can't see a copy of two particular subpoena documents, they must not be real, despite the individuals receiving said subpoenas having acknowledged their existence.

Subpoenas are a legal document backed by force of penalty or imprisonment which have specific requirements to be valid enforceable legal documents. I don't need to wear you down. It is a fact you can not match my persistence and stubbornness, and your proclamations of correctitude are equally as weak. The subpoenas directed at the executive branch were always the subject of debate. Trump isn't going anywhere if the law has anything to say about it. The actual law that is, not this Soviet gulag type inquisition you are so fond of.

Good point! Seems that the Ukraine became a critical ally to some who were making money off them and us... and twisting U.S. funds into making them their money. They are impeaching the wrong guy. There was a snippet in yesterday’s Briefing mentioning that polls show that the hearings aren’t moving the needle of public opinion too much.

That’s not entirely true.

The left-leaning Gallup organization just released a poll showing President Trump’s approval rating ticking upward in the midst of all of this negative publicity.

Even better, the president’s polling is up in Wisconsin versus the leading Democratic candidates, all of whom he was trailing prior to Schiff’s kangaroo inquiry.

When it became clear on election night last year that the Democrats were retaking the House, I said on the live blog we were doing that night that it may be the best thing to happen to Trump’s re-election efforts. I firmly believed that he would benefit greatly from the Democrats talking nonstop about impeachment.

Perhaps it’s not just that the Democrats are fumbling the ball that’s swaying some of the public opinion. President Trump’s allegedly inartful way of handling his own publicity is -- to those of us who are fans of it -- his way of picking up the fumble and returning it for a touchdown.

The reason Democrats are angry 24/7 now is that the man that they keep telling themselves is a bumbling moron has been besting them in so many ways for three years.

I dunno, so far I haven't seen any actual witness testimony, just a bunch of people testifying to what they read, assumed, or heard some one else say. Last I checked impeachment required evidence, but who knows.

As I explained previously these two subjects are inexorably linked. The dems thought they had a nice juicy worm and bit down hard on a big old hook that ended up dragging out their own dirt related to Ukraine. A liberal watchdog group's attempt to nail Rudy Giuliani has backfired in spectacular fashion after their FOIA request resulted in the US State Department releasing detailed accusations of corruption against the Bidens - based on interviews with former Ukrainian officials who were in charge of the investigations.
