Every people inside this industry have it's own interpretation of the market situations, you need to be an open minded since there's always a risk to carry from each decisions that you will take. I think your strategy is pretty good, and this is what I also would do. I try to hold my alts to see when the time is right. Sure you might see your coin going down, and this will make your palms all sweaty but always be patient, as good days will come surely.

Just like you I have a lot of altcoins stored in my wallet and I have no reason to dispose them for now because even they are almost priceless they can turn out into something better if the market goes well. We can't do anything on our alts now so its better to hold them rather than to sell in low price. I have confidence that they are going back to price as they were before or even something great.

You right. Some altcoins were never meant to last and have no real reason to exist and thus can be sold at a time when you feel satisfied with the offer but do not wait so long. Kill the pig while it's still fat.

Patience is virtue in crypto but know what altcoins you will exercise your patience on. Many altcoins are not worth waiting for. It is very easy these days to see through these projects and have a clear vision if there is still prospects in them. That's why I advise, always follow up on altcoins that you put money in and check from time to time if they are alive. Don't just hold for the sake of holding or on ground to patience is virtue. Sell if you smell death in the coin and move on.

When the market has experienced a bad thing and it lasts long. I guess the market will definitely be back spinning. So I won't be selling my coins like results from Airdrop, Bounty campaigns and investing. I always hope that the market can return as in 2017.

If it could happen all the coins that now have a low value, I think slowly going back to the pumping. I am currently still following the Bounty campaign and some Airdrop. Because I am sure if continuing to struggle will result in something good.

Maybe what you meant is, "expect the worse" If you have invested that huge amount, well nothing you can do, if you bought an altcoin then, youre good as dead since its un sure whether it could turn back again. But if you choose good one such as btc, other famous altcoin such as eth, xrp, neo maybe there still chance. But if youre money is into new project then dont expect much. Just say goodbye with youre funds.

since the market was lackluster, I had lost confidence in the new altcoin that began to emerge. Three times participated in the ICO but never made a profit. therefore, when I get altcoin from airdrop, I immediately sell it when the price matches the ICO. because the experience mentioned earlier made me think in the future there is no good saving coins besides BTC, ETH & XLM.

as your explanation above to be honest, what coin/token are your concerns? because I have same experience like you. expecting coin for raising more than reality is really bad idea. I ever hold a token which is worth $9000. I hold it due this project will launch their mainnet, so I hope the price this is project will rise like crazy. but did you know what happened? they are turning and jumping all the way down, so I lost approx $6000. this really a bad Idea. Holding without learning will make pain. my suggestion is don't be greedy, just put a normal and rational profit. calculate all of your risks before take an action. good luck

You need to maintain tokens that come from legitimate projects, the team and developers are still active in developing further projects. but for tokens generated from a project but do not have a good market development, it is better to sell immediately.

actually it's simple, depending on what altcoin you hold. if altcoin that you have currently has no further development my advice you need to sell immediately or replace it with altcoin which is better than that. patience is a normal human attitude. but you also need to think ahead and don't rely on patience or stick with altcoin that is difficult to develop.

No project can tell you exact future infect only can make predictions and assumption about the price.  About crypto price I think everyone should be positive and think widely, as much as you expand your investments you will have chances to see price higher. So before investing in crypto projects I keep in mind about before  and after price changes, even if its high or low.

Any project that predicts a price is a scam coin. If they are trying to predict the price then they should make their coins as a stable coin.

Seems your don't get it, each altcoins has it's season. Bitcoin currently is the only coins that can't be replaced by another coins but each Altcoin can always be replaced by another's superior coin (based on rge same idea and technology) which will be developed in the future.  The altcoin that were present 3-5 years ago, most of then are no longer relevant thats the fate of most Altcoins currently in the market.

Altcoins especially tokens should be traded and not consider investing vehicle like how bitcoin and most coins with their own blockchain are been considered as investment vehicle.

Selling altcoins in losses I think is not good. Because you have no patience. It's just like me that the condition hasn't improved to make my Altcoin also downhill.

Easy to say but its really hard to combat it along the way since we are fighting our emotions here knowing that it can change out our thinking anytime if we aren't sensible nor aware with the way we do think.

Market had been very bearish for how many years now but at least we are seeing some recovery at least even on small percentage.Come to think that there would always be a price recovery but the main question is on when it would happen.
