I don't think it is encouraged that people will borrow to invest. Cryptocurrency, just like any other investment, has its corresponding risk, and there is always a possibility that instead of positive returns one will incur losses, or instead of months the ROI will arrive after years. One might fail to pay for the loan if that happens or might end up working for the sake of paying the loan.

Neither is it encouraged to risk every penny of a saving for investment. Emergencies and other unforeseen expenses may arise anytime. It is always wise to have some savings left for such possibilities.

this has absolutely nothing to do with being crryptocurrency nor with the volatility. this is bad in any kind of investment. an investment should never be with the money that you don't own (aka loan) or money that you can not afford to lose (aka all lifesavings). an investment should be with the extra money that you don't need immediate access to.

Compounding interest is a sure thing though and it's going to hurt, I would never take a loan to invest in crypto, I can already barely stand the huge swings, imagine if you're borrowing the money, heart attack city.

The longer the time period to repay the loan, the higher interest to be paid in accordance with the initial agreement. Of course, taking a loan is a very risky thing, especially using that money to invest in crypto, which is not certain that we will get profit quickly. The first rule of investment is to invest only what one can afford to lose. So obviously investing life earning and savings sounds like a bad idea. It's not dangerous to invest in cryptocurrencies, it's just riskier. Problem is that some people who invest in crypto are dangerous themselves, why? Because I have seen some people on reddit for example who put house in a loan and invested all money in bitcoin. Just don't know what to call such action and the most sad fact is that that person did it when price was nearly 20k, he choose worst moment in his life.
It's another sad fact how blindly people fall in nice words. Just tell them to invest in something that will give them huge profit and they are ready for putting money in it.
