You have some valid points there but there is one point that I am not in agreement with, which is the Facebook coin, and I cannot seems to link it to why Facebook coin is motivating you to buy bitcoin, because I am not praying for this coin to survive, yes it will serve as speed for market cap of altcoins, but what of bitcoin, Facebook has millions of people that does not know what cryptocurrency is which means they know nothing about bitcoin.

Agree with you, that libra has nothing to do with bitcoin it's just that they are both cryptocurrency. Even the two coin systems are different where libra is centralized. And also libra can indeed be a bitcoin threat in future if Facebook pumps these coins on a large scale because they have billions of active users.

  First off I just want to say that I absolutely love this forum and its a great feeling knowing that I have somewhere that I can go discuss Bitcoin/Cryptos which other that are not completely clueless about what I am talking about. I value your expertise and I humble myself because I have been learning so much while I am here reading all these posts. With that being said, I made an article on 5 reasons why I am buying Bitcoin that I shared with the public. I know I am missing other good reasons in my article but if you have one then please share here or underneat the comments for people to see. We have different reasons why we bitcoin but in your article, the number 1 reason is valid which most of us are waiting for this moment simply because of pump price in the market. For me, my only reason why buy or invest in bitcoin is it is good for long term investment which has possibility that we can gain more income. In fact, some people or professionals predict that bitcoin will be more valuable in the future that's why many people starting to buy it.

If related to trading, we buy bitcoin due to the value and the volatility that it posses.
Someone can buy bitcoin and hold for a relatively short-term to earn profits trading bitcoin, for example, if someone bought 1BTC = $4K in April and sold at $13K in July, he already made $8K profit. However, if we buy bitcoin for a long-term investment until the next peak before the correction, the reasons you mentioned are relevant, yes buy the dip. But it has nothing to do with Libra coin, it doesn't even encourage people to buy bitcoin.

I would rather use this instead of putting it in my bank, as with this you could gain much more without any trouble. But of course, if we try to be expensive, then it can get risky. However, I just prefer normal Crypto Trading, and it’s purely long term for me which helps with getting the kind of results I wish and this is very much enough as well.

As long as you have confidence in this market, any investment will bring you profit if the market tends to grow well in the next few months. Many large investment funds are trending to enter this market more and that can be seen as the best opportunity for you to invest at cheap prices. I believe that with the potential of the crypto market, we can totally see the price of $20,000 again so please be patient and wait.

Good article for new investor to bitcoin although I doubt it, I just guessing you are not new investor and you have bought bitcoin in the past, right?

Your five reasons is something that should be know by all people and I hope the common poeple out there who still doubt to buy bitcoin will buy it suddenly.

But, I just will make a correction about Libra coin as some people above me, Indeed, libra coin is not something who will change bitcoin price in the future. Even, it will make some companies who have regulated well into cryptocurrency will change their mind back because they will create their own currency based on blockchain and will ban again the utilization of cryptocurrency at their country.

Yeah, you have to know the new development from libra coin, and there are many countries who will fight to it. Recently, Japan and some countries in Europe will watch over to libra coin, I and just scarred if these countries will ban cryptocurrency as a whole. So, just focused on the first reason i.e the halving event, if you make new article about halving event I guess there will be many people who will come and start to invest.

I think one more important factor is that currently less than 1% of the world's population owns bitcoin. Think about it, what happens when the rest of the world knows and wants to own bitcoin? I definitely want to hold btc.

Bitcoin today is the best investment, although even those, who buy this cryptocurrency do not realize it still. Over time, people become aware of the universality of Bitcoin as an independent international system of calculation, something more than virtual money. And then, after 10 or 15 years, we can see a better world that will belong to united humanity, and not to individual states.

Bitcoin is not controlled by anyone and this is the reason why so many investors tend to hold this coin for personal property. This market creates a lot of new opportunities in the future because Blockchain technology can be applied in any field and that will make the world become better in the future. those are the reasons people can see it and its advantages. But how about decentralization and no one manages or develops bitcoin?
Don't you doubt that someday its value will be zero when the economy no longer wants to use bitcoin as the main tool in trading?

I do not think that there is anything that will ever make the community to stop using bitcoin to trade as we are just even in adoption stage, and because of its decentralization, people will always embrace it which bitcoin is even still the best decentralized coin that we have.

The population of people that are yet to get exposed to the use of bitcoin is still very much and as time goes by, the community of bitcoin will continue to enlarge, and with this present community, it is even still very much to sustain bitcoin for so many years to come, so mate, It will be very hard for bitcoin to ever zero, even if 60% of the holders dumps the coin, there will always be new set of people that will embrace the price at any time of the day. Never need to worry on bitcoin prices as already too high like that.

Bitcoin has a lot of potential and room for growth and I would like to put my money on a market that I know will give me big returns, I'm a risk taker and young. Blockchain technology overall has a lot of advantageous characteristics to offer, among them being decentralization which is another reason I am investing in Bitcoin, to have control over my money. There is a lot of security when it comes to investing in Bitcoin compared to other blockchain projects; which is much needed given theft cases in conventional markets. I would also love to confidently tell people that I was part of the blockchain revolution a few years from now when I’m successful, which i also believe will land me jobs for my understanding of the new digital markets. I'm not hodling bitcoin because of Libra coin or Facebook. Libra is just a new discussion, bitcoin has long been there before Libra is born.
I like bitcoin because I own the portion I have to myself and nobody know about it. It is decentralized and not influenced by anybody.

I don't see Libra competing with Bitcoin anytime in future. Libra being a centralized coin by Facebook wouldn't be open to speculation as much as Bitcoin does. Facebook will exercise full control over Libra and won't let it become another investment, rather FB is fully-concentrated to limit Libra to be a utility token only. I doubt Libra would be traded on any exchange online.

There's no way it would be a competition to bitcoin! Even if Facebook does have billion of active users, It won't change the fact that it is an altcoin that feeds on bitcoin.

As you see libra now is somehow going down with its recent issue which is PayPal.

Being precise from how you understand the potential of this coin will give you a clear stand supporting the future. Yeah no doubt bitcoin is the best investment, it has high value in market people trust bitcoin the most because it is an old coin since long it is in market and mother of all coins. Bitcoin has best allot of investors it is having good scope in eyes of investors people found it profitable to hold.  Right now the price is low so at low price we can buy double it has huge increasing ability.

Ofcourse there are still some time to invest in bitcoin so you can't imagine what will happen in bitcoin once you invest there are no reason to loss or not because it will cause a profit at the same time you will invest on it.

By investing in bitcoin, you will have the potential to make a bigger profit in the future. You can buy bitcoin at any price without thinking about how much the price will be because you want to use a long term investment. I see the link you gave us, and it seems that it is a margin trading, and I don't suggest people try margin trading if they aren't familiar because that will too risky for you to try.

It's better to buy bitcoin and then hold it if you don't have skill in trading than to risk your bitcoin to make the profit. But you should be aware of the volatility of bitcoin price because that thing will make people are afraid and not ready if they see the price is going down deeper. You should have the power to control yourself at that time, so you don't attract to sell your bitcoin.
