Very good post about short term trading, I am also doing the same short term trading and enjoy it, Long term trading, in my opinion, is only good for coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum XRP etc for short term trading I personally suggest those coins which are cheap and are trading on top ranking exchanges.

I believe before moving toward long-term investment. Investor must check the market trend of the altcoin he is going to invest. If you believe altcoin can stay for along then go for it.

i just buying a coin for ex at 20 and sold at 21 or buy at 60 sold 61 in the same
day i don't like long term investing because it take too long and finally that
coin can fall even peoples who bought ETH at 0.03 or more they are in big lost
now and even BNB some peoples bought at 0.003 or even 0.004 i know
that some coins can raise in the future but i don't think we have to hold
coins for yeras when u can make in this periode thousands of dollars
in short term investments i remember when i make 1700$ in hours
with NLC2 its a shit coin true with price of 20 sat now but i don't care
because i didn't hold it i just checked its chart and i found it falling
to 800 sat and raising to 900 in seconds so i bought it many times
at 800 and i sold it 900 and i make 1700$ i less then two hours  
what i want to say is why u holding coins for a year when u can
make at least 25 - 50$ in a day with only 0.15 - 0.20 BTC this
means 50*365=18250$

This is will categorized as day trader not short or long term investment.

You are lucky to get profit of trading on shitcoin.

Investing either in short or long term investmen requires knowledge of nvestments to be choosen, can not choose based like or dislikes

I support crypto and blockchain technology fully so apart from profits i want this tech to survive, id say i am into short term and long term investment in my own way, i like holding for future profits opportunity since i can't predict the future and i also like other ways like trading or mining but with trading you can lost money instantly if you don't know how, they are all risky but i like taking risks

I agree, whatever strategy we use, ultimately the performance of the coins we invest will determine the final result. Investing for long term on coins that already have a products will be profitable in the future but investing long-term in new coins that are still developing products, I don't think is the right choice

much better if you make both investments. I mean between the long run and the short run so that you can get twice the profit from the capital you use. but my advice you should be able to manage your financial management correctly and make sure you do not use the main capital. use other money to start a business in this industry.

I personally prefer short-term investments to get short profits but I do this in large exchanges and with various coins. on the other hand I also make long-term investments with various top altcoins in the market.

As for me, since I don't have a lot of capital. I would go for long term investment. I will at least hold it for 3 months and see what will happen. I will do some research about their roadmaps, projects, etc. and will go from there. Normally, I will try my luck to those new coins however it can be a gamble since chances of getting rekt is too high. Maybe, once I have a lot of capital I can do short term, or like quick trade in the future.

i always use both method. i learn about that token to decide want to sell in a short or long time. many coin or token are great when trade it everyday, you get small profit but it will countinously. and the others are great when you hold until some month or years. long term condition compitable for great coin like bitcoin, it have big value and you just wait for some years to make big profit.

Agreed.This strategy is followed by many.And all because of the fact that many are afraid to invest because of the lack of guarantees from the people who created the coins.So most looking for profit,, here and now,,.

Well, I wonder what your opinion will be after 2 years of such a strategy
Bet you will either become a holder or lose most of your depo and quit with the strategy you use now

If we can do both, why not. Long-term investing is better when we have a large capital and invest it in the top coins and for the short term myself, I do with only small capital to generate income in the short term or arguably to survive in this cryptocurrency market. We know investing in the long run is not always profitable because sometimes something happens and the price of the coin falls. So for me personally, I will take every opportunity that exists both short and long term investment.

I think this depends on your needs, if you want to get very much profit then you can apply long term investment, but if you only want to do scalping coins to get profits every day even though a little then you can make short term investments.

There will be some good situation with short term trading once you determine the platfrom of a certain coins you've been investing. If you find it good enough to increase in a few days and when trading activities is performing actively, this is a good choice. However with long term it need long time patience, particular of the goal of the project isn't able to reach for further profitable price.

I think it's up to you. You need to make risky transactions to earn high profits. In this case, you need to be ready for big losses. I think we need to invest with more solid steps. It is good to make small purchases.

Well I think this depends on your strategies and how you can handle the pressure. Both is profitable if you know how to take advantage the market, so we cant say whats best because it depends on the person itself.
